Ustaria Cresta in Disentis/Mustér

My wife and I enjoyed a very delicate dinner in a traditionally furnished, clean inn, with fresh cuisine, excellent wines and the best hospitality. We would be happy to come back!

Rustic restaurant. The food and service were very good and friendly. The wine cellar changes every now and then, so you can find wonderful pearls. It definitely wasn't the last time we ate there :-)

Small but extremely fine menu with sensational food. Creative, deliciously implemented regional and seasonal dishes. You can taste the freshness of the homemade dishes, which are prepared with great attention to detail. We were able to enjoy a great, autumnal three-course menu (autumn capuns, venison schnitzel with pumpkin risotto & vermicelles). Thank you for the lovely evening.

We really enjoyed the evening at Cresta Segnas. Excellent food: traditional dishes redefined e.g. vegetarian capuns. Currently seasonal game dishes, a small menu and everything freshly prepared. Thank you for the convincing wine recommendation - we had a completer that went very well with the food. The hosts run the Cresta Segna with a lot of passion as a couple, which creates a personal touch and a welcoming atmosphere. We would love to come back 😊 and can recommend it.

One of the best dining experiences you will find in Graubünden and probably even in Switzerland as whole. Amazing service from the kind reception and friendly service, to the great wine recommendation, all the way down to a symphony of amazing dishes and hands-down the best chocolate crème brûlée I’ve had in my life. 10/10 will definitely be coming back a few times. As a group we were able to enjoy a super delicious lunch at the end of the camp. Very (child) friendly. Excellent vegetarian options (homemade falafel). We were welcomed in an extremely friendly and uncomplicated manner. Great experience! Gladly again next year. Relaxed Graubünden atmosphere, away from the daily stress.

A real insider tip! The food was first class, very fine, very tasty and beautifully prepared! The Asian tartare is amazing! We were warmly welcomed and the children's special wishes were also flexibly addressed. We felt very comfortable and, above all, ate wonderfully!

Cozy and good - whether it's the cordon bleu or the crispy fried, juicy tender salmon fillet on the wild garlic and barley risotto with green asparagus... The price/performance ratio is right, the new host couple ensures sophisticated cuisine and a cozy restaurant. There were five of us there, with a small child - and we will be back.

In Segnas, a new star has risen at Ustaria Cresta with the new operator couple Sara and René. Both have many years of experience in fine dining and their passion for pampering guests is noticeable from the first minute. The menu is kept small, but everything is freshly prepared. For the main course I chose the pork chop with saffron risotto and leek. A true explosion of the taste buds. Every bite is such a treat for the palate and the hope arises that it never ends... The wine recommended by René rounded the whole thing off perfectly. At the end there was a surprise dessert called Kaiserschmarrn, which was so fluffy and light that there was room for it in the stomach. A visit to Ustaria Cresta is worth it and no one will regret it. But I recommend early reservation. A big thank you to Sara and René and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We were in Segnas on the weekend of February 3rd-5th, 2023. After Cresta closed last year, we visited the newly opened restaurant with curiosity. We inspected the menu online in advance and developed certain expectations. But what we were offered was anything but what we expected. Sara and René completely convinced us not only with their friendly and very competent service, but above all with the fabulous culinary delights from the kitchen. The fact that both of them have gained their experience in starred kitchens is reflected in the quality of the service, advice and, above all, of course, in the kitchen. If you don't pay them a visit, you're definitely missing out on the best culinary treat you can currently taste in Surselva. In any case, our next reservation has already been made. Best regards M&M

Very friendly service. Thanks to the host couple Rene and Sara. We felt very comfortable with you. For food: Local specialties prepared with a lot of love. A lot of it is homemade and super delicious. The platter not only looks good, it is also good! If you don't stop here, you're missing out... Our recommendation between Disentis and Sedrun. A short walk from Segnas train station, or stop on the hiking trail which is really worth it! Good luck to you! You deserve it!

The four of us had a wonderful Cordonbleu meal here. But beware! Warm food is available continuously from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. After that it's over 😃 Update: The hot kitchen will be open again until after 8 p.m. from 2021; except Sundays.

Super fine gluten-free food! The chef knows his craft and can provide information about all the ingredients. The guest is king here and wishes are taken into account. A visit is definitely recommended!

Gironzolando in moto alla ricerca di un ristorante per il pranzo, con l’aiuto di TripAdvisor, abbiamo individuato questo posto un po’ isolato… Offriva tavoli all’esterno con ombrelloni e ci siamo fermati. Proprietaria molto gentile ma parlava poco italiano, comunque ci siamo intesi e abbiamo scelto un piatto di salumi della casa e un entrecôte con verdure.Carne davvero molto buona e tenera e ben cucinata e anche i salumi erano di buona qualità.

Bevor wir fragen konnten, ob wir einen Tisch für in 2 Stunden reservieren können, wurden wir von der Wirtin übel zusammengestaucht, dass wir das Auto nicht stehen lassen können. So unfreundlich wurden wir noch nie empfangen. Schade, waren auch schon da, aber kommen sicher nicht mehr. Gastfreundschaft sieht definitiv anders aus. Touristen sind offensichtlich nicht erwünscht.

Wir besuchen jedesmal, wenn wir die Ferien in Segnas oder Disentis verbringen, dieses gemütliche Beizli an prachtvoller Lage mit schöner Aussenterrasse.Innen strahlt das Beizli eine heimelige, wohltuende Atmosphäre aus. Alles wirkt sehr sauber und die Tische sind immer liebevoll dekoriert. Das Essen passt exakt in diese Umgebung. Die Küche ist authentisch. Ob Salat, Fleisch, Gemüse oder Beilagen; alles wird perfekt zubereitet. Das Fleisch kommt aus der Pfanne wie zu Mutters Zeiten und der Salat und das Gemüse sind immer sehr frisch. Auch die kalte Fleischplatte ist erstklassig. Wir schätzen diese klassische Art des Kochens sehr.Die Bedienung, meistens durch die Wirtin Rita selber, ist stets freundlich und kompetent. Da es sich um einen Familienbetrieb handelt und die Kapazität der Küche beschränkt ist, kann es ab und zu auch vorkommen, dass das Warten auf das Essen etwas länger dauert. Ist es purer Zufall, dass der Weg von Disentis nach Sedrun durch einen kleinen "Umweg" direkt hier vorbeiführt?

Etwas abgelegen, aber lohnenswerter Besuch. Nette Bedienung und tolle Speisen. Der Gastraum ist eher klein, darum gibt es eine familiäre Atmosphäre.
