Fantastic little restaurant. We were greeted by the owner at a slightly earlier time for dinner (kids), she was very welcoming and was giving my family an introduction to the local cuisine and kids drinks. The food was fantastic the kids had fun with the cow bells and the old locks on the wall. I'd recommend Ustria Fravia to anyone.

It feels like entering a private home. The attention to traditions can be seen from the walls. A collection of objects from peasant life. Even the dishes offer tradition: to try: the Bizochels (Graubünden pizzocheri), the Maluns and the Capuns.

One of the warmest beers I've ever been served, followed by one of the tastiest dishes I've ever eaten!! I took the Capuns, next times I will try the other two specialties of the house/area. They also offered me a slice of cake at the end of the meal, too kind! Beautiful decor, and moderate prices. I recommend it

Family owned restaurant. There are not many things on the menu, but it is very specific to the region. Don't expect it to be good for your waist, but it's a great place to go to to taste the local food.

We eat here every time we vacation in the area. Everything we've tried so far has been absolutely delicious and the landlady is just lovely. We are always happy to recommend this restaurant and recommend everyone to have eaten here. You won't be disappointed again. Like at grandma's house. We stop here once or twice every year on our way to Ticino. The landlady is super friendly and you immediately feel like you're at grandma's house. Eating is a poem! We highly recommend this place. It has very authentic local dishes which are extremely delicious 😋

We love the authentic food, the place and the super service. We were greeted warmly and was served according to what we felt like eating. We were up for trying lokal delicacies and we could not have it anywhere else better but here. The lady served us Capuns for starters, it was super tasty... Best we've had so far! Followed by a good portion of fresh salad mix and then for the mains freshly made Cordon Bleu, authentic with Bündner fleisch und bergkäse! Last but not least, the lady offered us a generous portion of homemade "Schenkeli" to go with our coffee and tea.. Little things like this leaves the last best impressions.. We were served as if we were regular customers..Best experience so far in our Disentis Wochende.. DANKE restaurant Fravia und bis nächste mal!

Read about this place to try the local Graubunden dish - Capuns from a blog so we went out of our way to visit it. It's a really local experience, visited by people from the village it's in, just outside Disentis - don't think you can go any more native :) Whilst it's good ol' home cooked food, it's rather pricey but average cost by Swiss standards. We also ordered another local dish Maluns using whatever smattering of German I could muster and lots of pointing since the owners don't speak any English. In some ways, as we were the only foreigners in the restaurant, it felt a little strange so we quietly gobbled up the hearty fare and asked for the bill. This is where I felt overcharged. Perhaps because of my poor communication, I got charged for tap water at CHF 3.60 per glass...in the land of really good free mountain spring water, that just seems ridiculous. As I didn't have enough CHF currency, I asked if we could pay in euros. The sweet landlady obliged but proceeded to charge me a conversion rate of 1:1. That just hiked the cost of my already poor value meal by another 15% >_<! In all helplessness, I could only smile and pay up....(remember the other guests were all local friends so it wasn't worth getting lots of eyes staring at the foreigners). So my verdict is, really authentic Capuns (the Maluns wasn't really good) but poor experience. Not geared for tourists unfortunately which is fine, so if you are reading this, be warned !

Haben Sie Wünsche wurde ich gefragt bei der Reservation für vier Personen. Nein, nein, wir essen was es gibt.. So überraschte uns die Wirtin mit einem zusammengestellten Menü. Eine kleine Kürbissuppe in der Tasse serviert.. Ein gemischter Salat mit separat servierter hausgemachter Salatsauce. Frisch und knackig ! Der Hauptgang ein Rahmschnitzeli mit, wahlweise, Pommes oder Nudeln. Gute, einfache Küche, wie zu Hause. Ein warmer Schokoladenkuchen mit Rahm zum Abschluss und all dies zu einem Preis der sich sehen lässt. Beim Wein hat mir im Flaschen Angebot etwas aus dem Bündnerland gefehlt. Auf Empfehlung haben wir ein Südafrikaner getrunken, schwer und verschlossen. Besser fährt man sicher im offenen Weinangebot.

Das Restaurant ist gut zu Fuss, mit dem Bike, aber auch mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Es liegt an einem Wanderweg (Senda Surselva) und Bikeweg im kleinen Dorf Disla bei Disentis in der Nähe des Rheins. Das Dorf selbst ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel für Feriengäste und Einheimische, wo die Ustria zu einem Aufenthalt einlädt. Wir freuen uns jeweils bei unserem Aufenthalt in Disentis die Ustria Fravia und die herzliche Wirtin und Köchin Anastasia zu besuchen. Sie zaubert immer etwas auf den Tisch, sei es ein Lunch, ein schönes Abendessen, ein Glacé im Sommer oder einfach einen feinen Hauskaffee im Winter. Wir kommen immer wegen den feinen Capuns und Maluns, und im Sommer gerne für den frischen und bunten Salat.

Sin importar si llegas en bicicleta, senderismo o fecha bien planeada, este es un lugar para comer, un pequeño refrigerio o la cena. El propietario y cocinero Anastasia garantiza una estancia de lo más agradable, en el exterior o en el acogedor restaurante, un antiguo taller herrero a lo largo de la ruta de comercio hasta el valle del Rin. El restaurante está un poco por debajo de la siguiente aldea Disentis, junto a una capilla iglesia octogonal única Santa Lucía en una pequeña aldea de granja con viejas casas de madera maravillosos de la granja. El restaurante se puede llegar fácilmente a pie, bicicleta, que es a lo largo de la ruta de bicicleta subiendo y bajando al valle o en coche. La comida incluye casero especialidades locales (Vg Capuns, Maluns) y grupos grandes son a menudo visto celebrando.
