Vesper in Luzern

Very great and beautiful cafe, one of my favorite restaurants.

I didn't know much about the menu, so I told them I wanted it because it was delicious, and they calculated it for me! It was all sooooo delicious. Perfect for breakfast And it seems like the menu changes every day.

A wonderful bright and cozy place with a bit of a view of the lake & mountains. Great wine and apèro options. An exceptionally nice and chill atmosphere & very friendly service. Loved it here

My friend was eating his brunch this morning, like almost every day, and was treated very badly by a service employee. That was a very, very bad experience

fabulous bar to both sit outside snug under a rug or upstairs in the cozy armchairs. Service is exceptional and the guy at the counter is charming, helpful and a great conversationalist. Local red and white wines are superb as are the delicious pastries including a delicious clafoutis aux prunes.

A very pleasant place to have a drink on comfortable sofas!

Vesper is one of those places that I could count among my favorite places. The environment is warm, informal and welcoming. The service is friendly but above all engaging. They really care about the customer and I immediately felt like a customer. I often go there for an aperitif. I usually order a platter to accompany the drinks and it is always different and with refined flavours. Never cheap. The cocktail list, but by my standards, only that is a bit limited, but they are available to fulfill your every wish, which is rare in Switzerland. A place to absolutely visit for a few hours of relaxation and friendliness.

Very enjoyable. But it can get cold from the windowsill.

Super cute bistro, with great service. Very well-positioned employee. Was in this little bistro yesterday on Sunday. My friend and I walked past it by chance and it immediately spoke to us. Super cutely decorated. Would definitely come back.

We had a great birthday morning at Vesper today. The staff was friendly, funny and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Coffee, croissants, ambience, light were great. It was a pleasure.

A very great, modern little restaurant in the middle of Lucerne! A beautiful and pleasant oasis to have a coffee or something to eat in peace and quiet. The interior design is fantastic. Great view! The staff is very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. Gladly again!

I can say that he is the friendliest and 'ENGLISH SPEAKING' tradesman we have encountered in Switzerland, to whom we said "let's sit down and have a coffee because the place is very clean" in the morning. The products inside have a very fresh look and taste, and the coffee (coffee cream & cappuccino) was good enough to be in the top 10 among the coffees we have ever drank. This can be your first stop when you arrive in Lucerne by train, and then it is located at the corner of a busy street where you can browse the souvenir shops. The toilets are located in the hall upstairs and were incredibly clean. I definitely recommend starting the day here, this is my touristic opinion.

Well. The woman in this shop is a racism. Using her supercilious look and telling the others so many Asians in shop( we only have 2 people) in a impatient tone. Worst Experience in Switzerland.

Very good coffee, oat milk is also great - but unfortunately with an additional charge. Selection of cakes etc. sufficient and looked delicious. Staff friendly and accommodating.

I tried the buffet. 1 plate for 12,5 CHF. It was delicious. I recommend for a quick snack, with view on Mont Pilatus !

A wonderful spot to have an aperitif. A breakfast. Something for lunch or just a coffee with a view of Mount Pilatus in Lucerne. A visit to Vesper is definitely worth it.

The coffee is so delicious! I also enjoyed the iced Americano! The staff is also very friendly. The bathroom was clean and nice too! I'll visit again next time :)

Good bar with a view of Mount Pilatus

Visited as part of a food trail. Absolutely unfriendly service. We would have liked to wait for the rest of our group with another drink, but apparently they don't rely on customers here.

Cafee was cold and staff was unfriendly

Actually a cozy place for an aperitif. Been there several times, but on Saturday July 29th. for the last time. Service in the take away totally overwhelmed (with 3 guests?) conceited and unfriendly, sorry but there are other places where customers are valued...

I had the worst experience I have ever had in a cafe. The woman with the tongue piercing was horrible. I just asked her if I could order something and she replied with a very bad attitude that I should look at the board there, it was self service. Then I said sorry I hadn't seen it. Then I ordered a "schorle" (a mix of juice and sparkling water) in German and she literally just gave me a caffee! Then I told her I had ordered a schorle and she said I hadn't pronounced the word right. But how can you just give me a coffee?! Schorle sounds completely different from coffee. She did it on purpose. I understand that sometimes people serve with a bad attitude, but to do things completely wrong on purpose is just absolutely outrageous.

Brunch is truly self-service, which we personally found very appealing. Very orgienic, beautiful garden seating area has its charm. The church bells are also a nice surprise :) The service of bringing drinks and clearing the table was also to our satisfaction. We definitely recommend it.

Cool place to enjoy a drink in the middle of the city of Lucerne. Even the service is 3 stars. Apparently you can enjoy a good breakfast here, I'll give it a try.

I've been to Vesper at any time of the year - whether it's mulled wine in winter or an aperitif with tapas in summer. Needless to say, I really like the location and the food. Today I was there for Sunday brunch for the first time and my high expectations were met. The rich buffet with regional specialties, including a delicious, salty braid (with dried meat and a little pesto?) was supplemented with freshly prepared dishes such as fried and scrambled eggs with bacon. And at a very fair price! The service was also very attentive and nice. Tip: perhaps it would be worth giving guests a brief introduction to brunch when they arrive and letting them know what can be ordered individually. That would round off the positive experience. PS poached eggs would be a delicious variation

Very good place not only to have coffee, but also to have light and healthy lunch. Salatbar is relatively cheap, while you can try very different and very tasty salads. Also they have a kind of daily menu: soup, salad, main dish to choose from. Very pleasant atmospere. Not a posh place if you're looking for one. Rather democratic, stylish and cozy. Besised outside tables they have very cozy first floor with the views over the bay.

A super small, nice espresso bar where you can take a seat upstairs. You order downstairs and take your order to your seat. The cappuccino is hot, the Doppio is of good strength and length, and the New York Style cheesecake, in both plain and chocolate, are heavenly. A beautiful view towards the mountain peaks and the lake

Great coffee shop. Nice and welcoming atmosphere. The staff member was kind and communicated well. Self-service style. Enough space on the upper floors and outside. Offers a beautiful view of the lake main intersection. It was very quiet in the evening and the music was soothing and calming. Beautiful design and great choice of furniture and cutlery, crockery, music, and plants. So far, all past experiences have been positive and enjoyable.

Had a negroni here that was pretty darn good. The hostess gave us a bowl of chips too for good measure. We sat in the upstairs lounge area sipping on drinks and passing some time before we carried on to the Lion Monument. Our only thought is it would be nice if they were playing some jazz music or something a bit more calming.

I really loved here. Staff were so kind and you can chill here with a glass of wine/ champagne etc. During my short stay, I went here almost every day.

Looking for a truly outstanding burger? Then you should try the wagyu burger at Vesper! Grilled to perfection and served with a variety of homemade sauces and fries. They also offer great tappas and a nice selection of different brands of gin.

Absolutely GREAT, that was what was missing in Lucerne. At any time of day there are many fine surprises that your heart (and stomach) desires and there is something for everyone. Accompany with a fine glass of wine or a cold draft beer. Very nice employees whose joy in serving you is written all over their faces. And when you leave the restaurant your thought will be "I'll definitely come back there, sooner rather than later". And no, I don't own the place, nor do I own any of my friends, and I don't have any shares either. I just think it's really good and they deserve 5 stars. Maybe we'll meet in the bar sometime. Cheers and en guete.

Spontaneously showed up for brunch yesterday Sunday and got a table easily. From the service to the offerings to the bar, everything was perfect. Excellent and attentive service (bar like above) and very good food. Lovely again.

The renovation was really worth it. Before it was a dark, dim smoking bar. Now it's nice, bright, fresh, the food is delicious. I'd love to come back there.

Great buffet! They cook with love. There is always something delicious for vegetarians too. Very nice & attentive people. Really fine and healthy dishes, somehow I felt like I used to be at grandma's house. I'll definitely go there again!

Very friendly service and super fine food at a fair price. Small buffet but good quality. The chef even brought us fresh white wine risotto even though we already had it on our plate. Recommend trying the homemade spritzer👌
