The portions are too small compared to the prices! and prices are really high. There is also a lack of choice/alternatives for those who have food concerns/allergies.

The restaurant in question disappointed in several respects. First of all, although specializing in Italian cuisine, the quality of the dishes leaves something to be desired. As for brunch, the menu lacked variety and originality. The service was also a weak point. The staff seemed disorganized and not attentive to customer needs. Waiting times were long and it was difficult to get the waiters' attention to place an order or ask for information about the menu. On Sundays a reduced menu, not much choice and they don't even have a Coke ever saw that. Finally, the atmosphere of the restaurant left something to be desired. In summary, the Italian restaurant specializing in brunch and Italian cuisine disappointed in several aspects, including the quality of the dishes, the service and the atmosphere. There is great potential to improve the overall experience and provide customers with a more satisfying dining experience.

Very disappointed, I called to reserve a table for 2 p.m. this afternoon, the waiter told me that there was no problem, I arrived at 2:05 p.m. and was told that the kitchen was closed. 20min drive for nothing, not very serious restaurant and that's a shame..

There are not a lot of food options in the immediate neighbourhood, and this one is definitely the best! Food is super yummy, from pizza to pasta to burgers, cocktails are generous and well done. At last, the terrace in Summer is offering mesmerising views of the Leman and the French Alps. Love it with a good service!

Horrible service! On top parmigiana arrived with a cold mozzarella….and I came back after a year to have JUST a coffee… they kicked us out at 5pm as they had to prepare for the evening service. Definitely they don’t respect the clients. Very dissapointing!

I read the other comments and I already see two things that displease me: no reaction from the owners, and recurring problems. Too bad for this restaurant, which will assume the consequences of a not so pleasant average rating. The quality of the dishes was there, nothing to complain about except that it is very good without being exceptional. However, the quality-price ratio is puzzling: I don't understand why we pay more than elsewhere if it's not particularly better. When you think that the best pizzas in Lausanne are also the cheapest, it gives you food for thought. The service on the other hand... Or rather the vision of the service: a very friendly server does not save the situation. Unless I'm mistaken, water is charged at 6.- per carafe. Given that they have been offered several times by the server, the least we could do would be to announce the price - if not offering it like almost everywhere else. As a matter of principle, I do not leave any tips to owners who do not have a spirit of hospitality. Then there is this mysterious frank for the climate. What do you do with it exactly? Between the water and that, it feels like we're in the tourist areas of Rome, where we regularly end up getting cheated when it comes time to pay the bill. And finally... When serving food, it would be the basis not to stink of cigarettes. The waiter's clothes were already complicated, but when he started talking in my direction, I retched. PS: like others who left comments, I digested my only dish quite badly. It was good, but I won't go back.

I had the pleasure of organizing a professional event at Villa Malfi in Lutry, and the experience was absolutely perfect. There were 105 guests, and every aspect of the evening was handled with exceptional professionalism. The decoration of the place is incredible, creating an ambiance that is both elegant and welcoming. The staff, especially the waitresses, were smiling and very attentive to our needs, contributing greatly to the success of our evening. The quality of the food lived up to our expectations, with delicious antipasti that delighted all palates. The property manager was extremely helpful, making sure every detail helped make our event memorable. As a regular customer, I have never been disappointed by Villa Malfi, and this experience has reinforced my conviction that it is an exceptional venue for any type of event. We are already looking forward to planning our next event in this beautiful setting.

Mama mia it's good!!!! As with each of my visits to the area, I never miss the opportunity to have a dinner, lunch or brunch in this restaurant. A superb setting (I love the winter garden), and delicious cuisine. I come out feeling satisfied and delighted. An address not to be missed for lovers of Italian cuisine. Be greedy and let yourself be tempted, from starter to dessert, everything is good... and plentiful :) An attentive and friendly team to perfect the experience.

Two of us came for a romantic dinner, and as true Italians we took the pizzas which are truly the top, Neapolitan pizza chef who puts all his love into his work, really kind and helpful staff. Not to mention the kitchen that makes planchettes with excellent cured meats and dishes that are well served, I can describe my experience as a place where you can feel at home, to point out that the cocktails are the TOP. I really recommend everyone to try an experience in this restaurant

The place and the servers are welcoming and the ideal place for brunch, dinner or just a coffee on their terrace or winter garden. Falling for something! (However, I recommend booking in advance!)

Rainy autumn evening, from the outside one could expect a welcome and a warm atmosphere. 1st disappointment. Nice table in the veranda, but uncomfortable seats. 2nd disappointment. Very average service, slow and not professional. 3rd disappointment. Decent pasta dish, but really way too expensive for just "carbo". 4th disappointment. And then frankly the wine service needs to be completely reviewed. Can only be improved by next summer, because a table on the terrace must definitely be worth a visit. A word to the wise, and Cheers!

Waitresses as unpleasant as ever, the obligation to contribute CHF 1.- on hot drinks is a total aberration! Not everyone agrees on the climate where the boss only has to make donations from his profits and not from the customers' wallets! I don't recommend moving on at all!

POSITIVE: The rental is great. Very pretty location by the lake, very pretty decor with a relaxed and neat style which makes us feel a little on vacation at home. Good cocktails and well presented. Nice gin menu. Friendly waiters. NEGATIVES: Prices are expensive. Among other things, I ordered the pizza with truffle and smoked mozzarella, the two ingredients are very good, but do not go well together in my opinion, because the smoked mozzarella is strong and covers the taste of the truffle and that's a shame. The pizza costs 36.- I find the price exaggerated. When we arrive we are asked if we would like to order a drink, we ask for cocktails and the waiter spontaneously offers to bring us a carafe of water. I appreciate the gesture and during the meal we ask again to fill the caraffe. Very bad surprise: we will be charged 12.- for water!! It should be free, I can't stand restaurants that charge for a carafe of water. The waiters are friendly, but do not have an overview, I have been to the establishment 3 times and each time we had to wait a long time to get attention (also if there was no not many customers). Overall I find the room service poorly organized. Few vegetarian and vegan choices

I wanted to post a comment because we were treated like crap, I'm still shocked because I had already been there and I loved this restaurant, the pasta I have nothing to say very good , on the other hand they wanted to charge us for a half-raw pizza. The staff were very unpleasant, did not accept any justified comments, dishonest, clearly didn't care about us, too bad... When you go to a restaurant to celebrate your birthday and even in general, you expect to be respected!

I am scandalized by the terrible service, the staff looks down on customers from the moment we arrive. We had reserved a table of 9 people, for a birthday and we had to pay 90 francs (i.e. 10fr. Per person) for a cake that we had brought ourselves, cut ourselves and brought to the table ourselves. In addition, there is a charge for carafes of tap water. They wanted to charge us for a pizza that we couldn't eat because it was so bad. Really disappointed with the welcome and the lack of questioning from the staff. SERVICE 0!!

We were a group of 6, we all had pizza except one of us. After 40 minutes of waiting, the waitress finally offered to offer us foccacia. After more than an hour of waiting we received poorly cooked pizzas. At the end of the meal we were offered digestives. However, a few minutes after that, everyone who had pizza started feeling nauseous and bloated. One of us threw up a lot after that. Half the group was forced to return home. I strongly advise against this restaurant, despite the pleasant setting. Without forgetting that the prices are too high, minimum 25 CHF for a pizza.

We had a great time in this wonderful restaurant with a magnificent view on the port. The staff were very kind and smiling, feels comfortable sitting in the restaurant. We had one issue, we ordered Fritto di mare which consists of calamars and shrimps, but we received a full plate of vegetables, with 5 shrimps and 4 calamars. After making a notice to the waiter, she brought us more. Very nice from them, and at the end when we received the bill, we were glad that the 2 glasses of wine were offered because of this. Wonderful place, recommend a lot! Thank you for your work and your service!!

Food is ok. Staff is inexperienced, or even… unqualified? Overall overpriced and overhyped. Also, the “slogan” that comes in the menu, and is written in different spots in the restaurant as “lake, sex and sun” for a place that should also be a familiar place… doesn’t seem very appropriate. Will surely not return with the current management.

I recently visited this restaurant for our anniversary, based on a recommendation from the head chef at the winery where I work. Despite some mixed online comments, I consulted a friend who knows the regional restaurant scene well and decided to give it a try. Service: Upon arrival, the hostess promptly seated us on the terrace. While the waitress took our drink orders quickly, the service experienced a few hiccups. She wasn't aware of the non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu, needing assistance from her colleagues. Additionally, she forgot our water and brought coffee 10 minutes before dessert, which wasn't ideal. Throughout the meal, she checked on us frequently, but the overall service felt a bit lacking in enthusiasm. Food and Drink: We ordered the Pizza Tutto Tartufo, which was delicious and worth its price. The crust had a pleasant thickness, and the truffle flavor was pronounced but not overwhelming. My only gripe was that it could have been warmer when it arrived at our table. We also tried the Grande Raviolo, which was tasty, although the dough felt slightly unusual, likely due to its size. As for dessert, we had the Tarte au citron, which left something to be desired. The menu didn't specify if it was house-made, and it tasted rather generic, not living up to our expectations. Ambiance: The restaurant boasts a fantastic location right by Lake Geneva, with the French Alps in the backdrop. While the view might be partially obstructed by boat masts due to its location in front of the port of Lutry, these actually add to the seaside atmosphere. On a pleasant day, it's a must to sit outside and soak in the stunning surroundings.

09.09.2023 in the evening. We were very well received and well served by the top waitress Nirvana. We had the Limone Ricotta and Devil Wears Pizza and for desert the Cannolo. Married to a Neapolitan, it was a real delight!!!! We will return there, I promise. Thank you for your solar welcome.

The truffle pasta is excellent, the aperitifs are made with good products. Regarding the pizzes, the dough is very good, it's a shame that they are served lukewarm or even cold. A little expensive overall but a lovely evening in a beautiful setting and very friendly service

Apparently either a tenant or a change of concept has taken place in recent years. Only the service met high standards. As soon as we sat down we realized that one of the chairs was broken and no longer usable. The menu is manageable, the selection of open wines is simply poor. The food was ok, but everything was more lifestyle-oriented. That may suit the taste of the new target group, but we didn't like it that much. The highlight was the large mixed salad, which was completely devoid of esprit or sophistication, more like it was thrown together.

Very welcoming, dynamic place, full of charm. The first times I went there, I found that the service needed improvement. At present, I find that it has improved a lot, I think that we should have given the team time to get to know the clientele and the place, given that it has not been open for a long time . The food is good, tees are well received, obviously the “lakeside” setting is great. I recommend going there, remember to book beforehand if you want to eat! Water is very popular, otherwise you can have a drink, have an aperitif without worries and it's GREAT!!!

I really like this restaurant for the following reasons: - delicious cuisine and excellent quality products - very friendly staff - location that makes us feel on vacation - really pretty decor On the other hand, the bill is rather high for Italian cuisine and we did well to check our ticket, because 25 chf had been charged too much. We would have expected to be offered coffee or limoncello, but that was not the case.

Nice discovery rather well placed by the lake. Both the exterior and the interior are very very pretty in terms of decor, just a surprise the toilet decor has nothing to do with the rest, too bad. Each of our dishes were very very good, gluten-free pasta offered, yes the killjoys will say the menu is not huge but a little made on site is better than anything and everything not made on site. The super friendly staff, the welcome and the top service. They kept our table despite being 15 minutes late (warned). We're hoping for gluten-free pizza dough soon too. I recommend this restaurant.

The setting is idyllic and the decoration is magnificent. However, the service is deplorable. From the moment we arrive we don't feel welcome, and we are made to feel this way more than once. Too bad, I was hoping to go back to get to know the place better, but ultimately didn't want to. In such a pretty place, you need a minimum of pleasant service!

After 4 visits to Villa Malfi, each time I come away very disappointed with the service. On this August 2 at around 2:15 p.m. I was served by a young man who apparently was in a very hurry to finish his service. Forgetting politeness, I was very uncomfortable with his behavior which bordered on being inappropriate. I find this extremely unfortunate because when we come to such a beautiful place we expect to have cheerful and competent staff. However the Ugo order was good. For now, I don't think I'll come back, because in my opinion, an outing to the Restaurant or an alte for a little drink should be a pleasure.

Minimalist welcome, supposedly Mediterranean decoration, uncomfortable furniture, climbing plants on the ceiling probably artificial. Correct starters and in sufficient quantity, carafe of sparkling water at 6.-, still water at 1.-. A little expensive for bubbles... The dishes are of average to good quality. Undercooked pizza dough, spongy interior and lacking a bit of flavor. Too bad for cooking over a wood fire. The presentation of the dishes is generally successful. The service is relatively fast and efficient, but we immediately notice the lack of experience of the staff constantly changing tables. Example: filling 6 glasses of wine side by side before placing them in front of customers is not done. Finally, the prices are clearly overrated. Maybe you pay for the shaded terrace and the view of the port...

On the other hand, when we are at the bottom of the terrace to have a drink it is complicated to have a waiter who comes to take our order… we had to go get one because it was not on the right side

Amazing location, good food, service that doesn't really match the prices. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the location really perfect : we felt like we had a little holiday evening somewhere on the Italian coast. I just don't understand how you can price food items the was they do and not offer proper service. I hope they can improve this area, as the place has lots of potential.

Small downside in terms of price, the value for money is not excellent - it is relatively expensive. In addition, there is a charge for the carafe of water, which is theoretically legally prohibited.

Very nice rental to feel out of place on the shores of Lake Lutry. Highly sought-after decoration that gives a touch of vacation and warmth. We had the homemade lemonade which was refreshing accompanied by the specially designed carafe of water. A bit of a wait for service.

I went to eat at this establishment reluctantly and full of prejudices, invited by friends. I was cooled by a previous experience with the previous owners, and by the mixed comments from last year. I was totally surprised and had a great time: good food, simple and nice menu, good products, and a very welcoming, happy and pleasant team. I will undoubtedly return to this terrace which is finally in harmony with this exceptional place.

Small platter of a mix of Bruschetta as a starter, very good. The spaghetti vongole dish was excellent with a large quantity of seafood, like my mother's, I loved it. The terrace is pleasant with a magnificent view of Lake Geneva. Very good service, very attentive and warm.
