For me the best restaurant in Thun. Inexpensive and varied selection. You can tell that the family that runs the restaurant does it with passion. Attentive and extremely friendly service, good advice, the chef asks about your well-being. I've had lunch and dinner a few times now and each time I've been overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff and the culinary preparation of the dishes. I recommend everyone to eat here.

A complete success. We got a place by chance since we went without a reservation. The staff is very attentive and kind. The food was great, even the bread :) the place is very charming, facing the river. The price is good, within normal limits and in line with the quality. I recommend the Tagliatelle Ponte di Legno and the Gnocci Gustosi. I would return without hesitation

This restaurant is a nice surprise. The portions are correct and the food good. The service is quite slow. We had to ask for bread several times: the slices are small and few in the basket. This place is quite noisy. The Christmas decoration with tree and packages is very pretty.

We were able to enjoy the game pizza, mushroom ravioli and the game tagliatelle, all very tasty. Value for money was brilliant! We'd love to come back! Thank you very much!

Very nice location, especially if you sit outside, directly on the Aare. Service very attentive and friendly. Food very good. We had pasta (spaghetti vongole and ravioli). The only negative: the portions served are too small for people with a big appetite!

I had a risotto with spinach and carnelen, it was super tasty. The risotto was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, the staff was very friendly and despite there being a lot of guests, the food was served quickly. We will be back.

Such a shame… the place is beautiful (restaurant really well located and the view is quite nice from the floor), the food is ok (even if nothing exceptional), but the service is terrible… Obviously the waitress was incapable of serving a beer. There was so much foam that a large part was spilled on the table and in the glass there was 2/3 foam... no excuses, refusal to bring a new beer (telling us that the foam was all wrong). way to fall back). Mind-blowing. The rest of the dinner was spent with a frankly unpleasant waitress…

I have been a regular guest at Ponte di legno for 1.5 years. Every time the food was extremely tasty (tip: beef fillet and tiramisu), and the portions were very generous. The location right on the water is great and the restaurant is also very nice inside. Always top service, very friendly and attentive. Definitely a recommendation!

We wanted to have an aperitif and even though it was open we couldn't go in. Everything is set for dinner. They probably don't need it. A pity. Luckily there are other good restaurants in Thun where you are welcome for a drink.

Not allowing seniors to be able to share a pizza because they simply can't eat much anymore is just a gain so we won't go back there again... and chasing away a grandmother who just wanted to drink a coffee after 1:30 p.m. is still just wanting more profit.

A very nice restaurant with very good dishes. I often go to Thun on business and a visit to the Ristorante Ponte di Legno is a must for me. Super nice and friendly service, the food is very tasty and beautifully presented. Service is always quick and everything is prepared quickly. The atmosphere is cozy, you feel really comfortable inside and outside. I've been here a few times and have never had the slightest reason to complain, I highly recommend it.

Hi. Since we weren't very hungry, the two of us wanted to order a pizza in the middle. The drinks have already been brought. When they said we couldn't share pizza, we didn't order anything to eat. As if this wasn't already naughty, we weren't even allowed to finish our drink. We were encouraged to finish our drink inside. This on a sunny autumn day. Absolutely cheeky. I find that really annoying. Nieme. Unfortunately the star has to go. Actually what a star. Absolutely none

Overall, the food was tasty. The portion is rather small. The service was weak. The main course was set up while the starter was still being served. After 25 minutes at the table we received the bill without being asked... I've never experienced anything like that in the CH.

I sincerely do not understand all the good reviews... Risotto was terribly dry, and not creamy how it's supposed to be. On top of the pizza there was literally a puddle of water! The waiter said that "this is how it's supposed to be on a pizza with mozzarella di bufala". I hope it is visible on the picture. After we complained that no pizza can be this watery, the guy just said "you ordered it, so you have to pay for it". He was very rude, same as the owner (I suppose that was the owner). We were not offered any alternative dish or reduce in price or any kind of compromise at all. Whatever product you receive on your plate, you have to pay for it because you ordered. After we refused to pay for the food we obviously didn't even try, the manager threatened us to call the police, which we agreed on :) In the end he asked us to pay for the beer, and we left. NEVER EVER have I experienced this kind of service anywhere in Switzerland. All in all, food - terrible, service - terrible. They don't deserve the great location.

The view was nice and the pasta was good. But the starter dish (witch contained king prawn with lobster cream and served with bread slices covered with olive oil) was excellent and full of deliciousflavours, it was the best dish I had during my trip unfortunately I don't remember the dish name.

A very good and authentic Italian restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were very tasty. The staff is very friendly and tries to make sure you don't miss anything. Unfortunately you can't make a reservation, especially outside, as space is limited (hence only 4 stars).

Very good restaurant. Beautifully located on the banks of the Aare. The service was very friendly, helpful and quick. They helped us arrange our tables in a desired formation with the right ratio of sun and shade. The food was impeccable. The pizzas were very good by Swiss standards and my gnocchi were simply wonderful. Price-wise also very pleasant. You are welcome to stop here for a meal.

Horrible place with an arrogant old waiter! We decided to drink coffee and eat pizza! But we weren’t very hungry, so we decided to order 1 for 2. As a result, this waiter impudently told us not to take up space and he would not place such an order! I do not recommend this place to anyone!

Pretty location and good food. In terms of portions, something should be increased. Carbonara was a hit, but cooking at home afterwards to fill you up can't be in the spirit of things. And no, my wife doesn't weigh 100 kg...

Service was polite and courteous. The food didn't quite meet our expectations of an Italian restaurant: the tagliatelle were neither fresh nor homemade and were overcooked. The base of the pizza was a pre-made semi-finished product, a shame for the fine topping of vegetables and mozzarella. We are no longer coming for these reasons.

I am on 06/09/21 an antipasto meal and salade decoration is dark I complain about arrogant service and boss has to come to the police to solve the problem. It's a shame for turismo in Thun negative and.......
