Vis-à-vis in Bern

The service was very courteous and nice. The food was good, but I think CHF 35.- for the aperitif plate, with "normal" 0815 cheese, olives, dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, a sausage and hummus with bread, was a bit much. Not really imaginative, which is what I would expect for CHF 35. The atmosphere was ok, but don't quite understand the hype surrounding the bar. The Rosé Prosecco was incredibly good! The location is also great.

The coffee at Vis-à-vis was excellent and the prices were very fair. The atmosphere is casual with good music in the background and there is also reading material if you come by alone. The staff was also very friendly and brought us a bowl of salted nuts straight away and lit the candle on the table. Highly recommended for a coffee in the morning or afternoon as well as for an aperitif.
