I live around the corner and am a regular customer, incomparably delicious things, no comparison to large companies. In addition, incredibly friendly service that is unfortunately hard to find today.

The bakery is open normal hours Tuesday- Friday as of March 18, 2020 and as delicious as ever. I asked: the baker starts working at 2-3 am so we can have all these wonderful breads, rolls and croissants at 8 AM

Dä Urs Vohdin in the Niederdorf Züri, simply makes sbeschti bread, thick and wide. Au Amaretti are simply super good👍

I would be happy to support it, but anyone who still accepts "cash only" shouldn't be surprised if customers switch to the major distributors. Come on, wake up and accept cards please....

A beloved insider's favorite for generations. Get there early, as they do run low on popular items (Wähe, Zigerchrapfe eg) towards the end of the day.

The best butter pretzels and Zigerkrapfen far and wide. Always super fresh. In addition, the Amaretti are the best for me, in the classic way without any chocolate frills but baked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside like a good coconut macaron.

The building was built in the 1300's and it's been a bakery since the early 1600's. How great is that? Wonderful bread!!!
