Vorbourg in Delémont

It's a shame it closes at the end of the year, everything is good even the ham on the bone, the fried carp is still just as good. We have to look for another restaurant for carp frying. And it's Saint Martin's Day in the Jura so it's a very busy weekend.

I really like the couple who manage it, they are always welcoming with a big smile.

Came for a birthday very simple meal nothing extraordinary little seasoned grandmother's kitchen soft vegetables... in short maybe a la carte it's better... and poor waiter who has to go up and down his dangerous steps 50 times...

Excellent family and cozy restaurant where you can taste dishes such as fried carp à volonté for 28.- (that is, you can repeat as many times as you want for the price), delicious fries and a very picturesque place at the top of the mountain that presides Delémont the capital of the canton of Jura. It is a typical farm house of the area with cows and beautiful views. At the entrance there is a children's play area.

A must-visit place in Delémont. In a green landscape, a shaded terrace, quality cuisine at a good price. Children are welcome and will have room to have fun in complete safety (no traffic). Warm welcome and quality service, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Cozy restaurant with a great view... The staff was very nice and helpful... The food was very tasty... Went to the Restaurant du Vorbourg for the first time and will be back again... Unfortunately, the restaurant cannot be reached by public transport... You should make a reservation if you go on the weekend...

Flawless, 10/10! A magnificent setting, fast, warm service, we exchanged a few words with the owner, infinitely kind, the sommelier too, by the way! And simply delicious, for truly affordable prices... What more could you ask for? For sure, I will return there soon!

Excellent frying, nothing to complain about...however I find it inappropriate and abusive to charge extra for fries without them being requested. I haven't touched the fries personally (preferring the salad) so why not announce the color when ordering, I would have found it more correct... so be it!

Excellent fried carp quite expensive at 26.- with 3.- added for fries which were served to us without us having ordered them thinking that they were included. I find this process abusive and dishonest. Patch, We ordered fried food without reading the menu and it was the waitress who served us the fries without us having ordered them and without informing us that they were extra!

A family establishment, typical of farm inns, simple but quality cuisine with a menu of regional products. Personally, I ate a very good fried carp, plus the digestive walk to the chapel is very good. I recommend this establishment.

Unfortunately a flop. At 3:30 p.m. we were told that warm food would not be available until 5:00 p.m. At 5 p.m. we were told that warm food would not be available until 6:30 p.m. We won't be coming back. Unfriendly staff.

Ich war zum ersten Mal im Restaurant Le Vorbourg. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen, frittierte Karpfen mit Frittes und Salat, war ausgezeichnet. Service, Preis und Leistung haben gestimmt. Das Lokal ist sehr einfach eingerichtet, eben typisch jurassisch. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen und ich komme gerne wieder.

L’ambiance du restaurant nous mets tout de suite à notre aise. Sympathique et souriant, le personnel au complet donne envie de revenir. Les plats sont gourmands et très bons.

Service sympathique dans un cadre familial. Cuisine simple mais bonne. Cette fois nos choix on fait que nous avons moins apprécié. La friture de carpes nous a déçue. Je sais pas si on peut les demander «  désossé » car toute ces arrêtes c’est pas top.Jambon à l’os toujours bon. Dommage qu’il n’y est pas un choix d’une grande salade gourmande (croûtons lardons et œufs par ex.) pour un repas de midi léger ça serait agréable.Si mes souvenirs sont bons les tranches à la crème miammmm

The restaurant of my childhood! Now when I come to this region of Switzerland, I do everything possible to come back. It's no longer the same restaurateurs as 40 years ago, but the spirit and above all the quality is still there. I only eat the fried carp there and it's a real treat every time, just like back then!

Very good food, but too much waiting for fried carp

Le restaurant possède plusieurs atouts : sa terrasse et sa cuisine campagnarde avec ses spécialités comme la friture de carpes, la truite, le jambon à l'os, les röstis et les tranches à la crème. Petite restauration également possible. En cette saison, la carte estivale relativement variée complète agréablement l'offre. Mieux vaut réserver aussi bien pour le midi que le soir (grande affluence certains jours, surtout le week-end). Places de parking en suffisance juste à côté du restaurant. Mais le restaurant peut également faire l'objet d'un but d'excursion à pied depuis la ville.
