The only waffle shop in Chur but also the best waffle in Chur. Friendly and friendly service. You can see that the owner runs the shop with passion. Different selection of waffles, sweet and savory versions. There were various sauces and fruits to choose from as accompaniments to our waffles. We would be happy to come back and recommend this waffle restaurant. It's a great place for families with children.

Wow! Incredible waffles. You can choose from one of their creations of sweet Belgian waffles, or you can create your own. They also have an assortment of savory waffles. I created my own and discovered a kind of chocolate I had never heard of before...ruby chocolate! It's like milk chocolate, but pink in color. Delicious and unique. Highly recommend WaffelKhur!!!

Very tasty waffles, insane prices, strange staff morale and the back room toilet. We were greeted by the door being opened for us, which I found very pleasant. We were immediately assigned a table for 4 people and received the menu cards as well as a short introduction to the waffles, which you can create yourself. So far so good. Basically there are sweet and salty waffles, the selection is large and appealing. Unfortunately you can only create sweet waffles yourself, I don't quite understand why. After our orders were taken, or our slips of paper with the waffles we had created were picked up by a very distant employee, we started waiting. It took about 30 minutes until the beautiful waffles were in front of us. In our opinion the waiting time was okay. Before the waffles came, they brought us the drinks. If we had waited until the waffles came, the hot drinks would have been cold. (By the way, you pay 4.10 Fr for a glass of water.) The waffles taste very good, you can tell that everything was freshly made, which we really liked. As already mentioned, the waffles were beautifully prepared and a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. After we ate, a few of us had to go to the toilet. The toilet has an anteroom which can be entered through a door and a sliding door. Once you're in this room, it's very reminiscent of the "Backrooms" (for those in the know). This uncomfortable feeling is caused by the wallpaper in the room, which is the same on the walls as well as the ceiling. There is also a couch and a table in the anteroom, very inviting. The toilet itself has everything you need and there is a changing table. The toilet itself is decorated in a very abstract way, as everyone's tastes differ. When we wanted to leave the restaurant, we of course paid first. As is the new fashion, the guest checks out and is no longer served at the table. The old-fashioned way would be to pay at the table. As I said, tastes are different. However, we were unable to pay directly because the employee mentioned above did not have the competence (probably approval of the competence). So we stood there in the middle of the room until another employee was able to cash in on us, which took about a quarter of an hour. Already a bit annoyed by this fact, you pay between 15 and 30 Fr per person for a waffle and a drink!!! The 15 francs only apply if the waffle is practically empty or has been redecorated. The average for our group was 25.- Fr. per person that we left here. The visit to the WaffleKhur was okay and I think I will come again to give it a second chance. Do you need to know...

WaffelKhur is an absolutely fantastic experience and, for me, an indispensable restaurant in Chur. The restaurant's interior is designed with enormous passion and great attention to detail. With an always friendly host and irresistibly sweet and salty waffles, there is nothing missing. Requests (take-away/gluten-free…) are implemented and requests do not have to be forgone. The price is only understandable for me because of the fresh and lovingly selected products. It all sounds like chocolate - literally. My pictures of sweet waffle creations speak for themselves:

We were at WaffelKhur for the first time today and were warmly welcomed. Through the detailed explanation of the menu, we decided on a salty waffle with traditional Lebanese spice and a sweet waffle creation. Based on the recommendation, we shared each waffle and so that the second waffle was warm and crispy, we only got it after eating the first one 😊. Both waffles were very elaborately designed, extremely tasty and our son also really enjoyed them. We're amazed at what you can do with a waffle and we're happy to come back, and not just because of the cozy atmosphere!

The prices are fair and the selection is varied. The preparation is absolutely perfect and very delicious. All in all, it's worth stopping by.

What a nice find in Chur. The service was exceptional and the chef made us a custom savory tasting waffle from creation #2, 3 and 4. The tuna paste and hummus was so delicious. The pizza waffle was yummy and we finished with a very special sweet banana waffle with lemon curd, and pink chocolate. What makes this place stand out is the attention to detail and service. The wonderful flavors reflect the pride and effort chef puts into the food. Thanks again Chef Mohammad!

The waffles were great. The service was substandard and also unfriendly and really rude. Stared into space and ignored us. When I wanted to get the cards myself after countless waves, calls and hand signals after 20 (!) minutes, she stood in the way and said she would bring the cards straight away. Only to stare impassively into the air again. Plates that were already on the table were not cleared away and the request to take them with us was ignored. We had to ask countless times before we were allowed to order. It wasn't that the waitress had a lot to do, but we understood that. Rather, she simply stared into space and simply ignored us even after we spoke to her several times. We weren't unfriendly or unpleasant. I've really never experienced anything like this. Even though the waffles were really tasty (after an hour and a half) - we'll never come back. Food five stars, service zero. Edit: Unfortunately you can't reply to the owner's answer below, so here. I come from Zurich, I don't know you, I have no personal reasons to defame you. There were also seven of us in total, and we were all equally annoyed. Unfortunately, the fact that you accuse me of lying fits with our experience with you. All the best to you anyway. And the waffles are really delicious.

It costs 32 per person, you get lots of side dishes, 2 different fondues, cream, fruits, ice cream etc… With enough waffles. I come here to eat just because of his personality. It has exclusive drinks that you can't find on every corner: everything is incredibly tasty.
