Small map. Eat good. The landlady also had nice service. The landlord was very unfriendly and intrusive. Touches the motorcycle to turn off the engine. Talks too much and a lot of nonsense. Could be cleaner. Bubble expensive for little performance.

Yesterday we were guests at the Wagenkehr restaurant for lunch as part of this year's group trip with 10 cars or 20 participants. I had (of course) registered the event in advance and made the reservation with the boss there. It was just really great! Apart from the naturally fantastically beautiful location, we were beautifully and lovingly laid out for us in the guest room and gave us a very warm welcome. After at least 10 cars had been introduced to his parking lot, we could get started with tasty and excellently prepared food and drink. It was great - THANK YOU SO MUCH

We were guests today Them. Service was good. At the end I bought a deer gemswurst. I paid CHF 20. It's already overpriced. This will definitely be something special for this price. (Price from the host) In the car I found out that the innkeeper's wife was 7.50 would have demanded. We take the positive things from today with us from our EXCURSION to Engstlenalp.😣

A perfect evening, game season has begun. We really enjoyed the game plate and can only recommend the restaurant.

Outrageously rude parking lot attendant. (Probably the innkeeper?) Here we had to pay the fee for the private road, which could be paid directly from the car. We were immediately insulted when we were looking for our money and told us to display our (literally) shitty music in the car. After a few seconds he asked if fuel was that cheap in Germany? We should please turn off the engine, his guests are already feeling disturbed. He then turned around and was upset that we had paid with a 100 CHF note. We were completely speechless as to what a person would do to talk to other people like that. Normally, collecting a parking fee would not be worth a review, but perhaps it will help one or two visitors to be prepared that visitors who want to go to Engstlensee will be received "politely" here.

Good food and very nicely located. The landlord doesn't seem to like cyclists very much. Rather a strange guy. Probably won't go there anymore... it would probably be better if the women served. They are very nice and accommodating.

Very nice people are working there, we were there for our bubble suite experience and we were very satisfied, place looks little bit older but for me it was great beacuse it looks like a typical rustical wooden swiss house 🙂👍 bubble suite is sorrounded by great views, sleeping there was nice we had full moon night 🙂 the bed is heated so that's big plus because even in summer the temperature during a night is around 8-9 degrees... there is also hot tube, If you wanna you can order wine even whole bottle and enjoy hot water with bubbles 🙂 we had also breakfast included, I was sure that I will give 5 stars in rating but after breakfast I was little bit dissapointed, we've got 1 boiled egg, butter, ham, cheese, jam, yoghurt and bread... why we had only 1 egg when we were two? So I asked boyfriend to go there and ask for mixed eggs because we were before trip to Trifft bridge which is quite hike so we needed to eat well. After that we've got mixed eggs, it was very delicious, finally we were not hungry. Because of that I decided to give 4 stars because everything else were perfect for us and we enjoyied to be there for 1 night 😊 thanks for great experience. Best regards. Miriam and Rudolf 🙂

Good rustic restaurant with overnight accommodation. Nice location, the food was authentic and delicious. The night in the bubble was cozy and warm despite the rain and cold. Very nice host couple 😊😊😊

We were here overnight. It was raining outside so we were glad to be safe and warm. Shared toilets and showers. Huge breakfast in the morning. Very nice staff. I am writing a review about three years ago.

This review refers to my visit six months ago - I thought for a long time whether I should write this. The disappointment is still as great today as it was immediately after our visit. As a greeting, the landlord sprayed disinfectant into the face of my 2-year-old son in the stroller before complaining loudly and endlessly about Corona and the government's "idiotic" measures. By the way, this was long before the certificate requirement. He never missed an opportunity to verbally challenge or even attack at least one of us at the table. At the end, when I asked if I could pay by card, he stepped onto the stage and put himself in the spotlight. His show began with “Do you know where you can give me your card?” Apparently he is of the opinion that someone is trying to abolish cash and that he must counteract this intention. Of course, a simple “No, we don’t accept cards here” would have been enough for me. He made numerous other sounds, all of which I couldn't put into meaningful sentences and understand. But I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything... My recommendation: drive past and stop at Engstlenalp, or then stop off in Innertkirchen on the way back.

The man who collects the fees is very unfriendly. I wouldn't willingly set foot in there. I have no idea how such a person can be a (good) “host”, I can’t imagine that.

Food was ok and price too. The host is a bit strange but ok. What's cool is the landlord's job of manually opening the barrier for the vehicles. Digital transformation in the style of the 1980s.

We spent two nights in the cabin. Beautiful rustic cabin. Food was very good. Hut couple very friendly. There are also showers. I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience this.

Nous avons loué une nuit dans la bulle (bubble suite). Avant de venir nous demandons par email si les chiens sont les bienvenus, la réponse est positive et sympathique.Une fois sur place, nous découvrons des hôtes très désagréables, surtout l'homme. Il nous dit à peine bonjour et vient exiger que le chien dorme dehors sous la pluie. Nous n'avons jamais vu un hôtelier aussi antipathique. La bulle en elle-même est plus une déco de jardin qu'une vraie bubble suite. Pas chauffée, pas hermétique à l'air, c'est vraiment du bricolage.Nous sommes partis sans y avoir dormi, et avons perdu 250.-N'allez pas la bas !

Stehen mit dem Auto vor der Barriere. Der Chef kommt und will 8.00. Ich sage dann, ich komme als Gast ins Restaurant, da bezahle ich doch keine P-Gebühren. Worauf er wütend sagte: Dann blinken Sie nächstes Mal gefälligst auch rechts, dann weiss ich das auch. Ich sagte dann, gut dann schreiben sie dies auch so an. Am Tisch bestelle ich Kaffee und Kuchen. Der Chef sagt: Wir haben keinen Kuchen mehr. Ich wusste ja nicht dass heute noch zwei Früchtchen, wir ihr beiden, hoch kommen. Die Wirtin hat dann die Situation gerettet, indem sie sich zu uns setzte und das Gespräch suchte. Sie war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Der Chef verlangte von uns eine Parkgebühr von 8 Fr, obwohl wir im Restaurant konsumierten und nachher lediglich zu Fuss noch einen Spaziergang unternahmen. Bei der Bezahlung mit Twint murrte er, diese Bezahlung gehe viel länger als mit Bargeld.Der Salzgehalt des Kräuterziegenkäses (mit Salat), den wir konsumierten, war für uns deutlich zu hoch.Fazit: Wir fühlten uns in keiner Weise willkommen und auch das Essen liess zu wünschen übrig, obwohl der Chef selbst seinen Ziegenkäse in den höchsten Tönen lobte.

Wurden vom Navi fehlgeleitet. Haben VOR der Schranke beim Parkplatz 2 min gestanden um auf die Karte zu schauen. Als wir umkehre wollten haben sie von uns eine Parkgebühr von CHF 8.- (!!!!) verlangt. Als wir sagten, dass wir doch nur 2 min da standen um nach dem Weg zu schauen meinten sie, dass das ja Parkieren sei und bestand auf die 8.-! Zu allem kommt, dass diese Person sehr unfreundlich war und sogar noch beleidigend wurde!BLEIBT DA FERN!!

Charmantes Chalet mit sympathischem Service und sehr gutem essen und grandioser Panoramasicht ! Ein kleiner Geheimtipp

Klein Fein Rustikal einfach. Einfache frische Küche mit sehr hilfsbereiter freundlichem Service! Preis Leistung TOP! Wurst und Ziegenkäse verkauf, einmalig lecker, sehr empfehlenswert! Immer wieder gerne!

We found Wagenkehr in Innertkirchen by coincidence in 2015 and were so happy to return at our next visit to Switzerland in 2019. No doubt it is a hidden gem, only 20 minutes from the main road and a comfortable local way up into the hills. We stayed with our family of 5, and this year 7, a few days and enjoyed the lovely views, the beautiful hikes, the cables to the impressive glacier and Alps panorama on ‘Titlis’, and the steepest train ever to the dam in the mountains. The only comment I could possibly make is perhaps the high price of the cable cars in the area, but you can save some by doing a part on foot. The owners of Wagenkehr are very kind hosts and Helena is a great cook preparing fresh meat, fish, veggy dishes and not to forget the fresh-baked Haslicherkuchen. Thank you guys for your warm hospitality!

Wünderschöner Ausflug im Berner Oberland. Gemütliche Übernachtung in die "Bubble Suite" umgeben von hohen Bäumen und türkisblauen Bächen. Nachtessen und Frühstück waren sehr lecker und die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Danke für alles, wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Magnifique escapade dans l'Oberland Bernois. Nuitée très agréable dans la "Bubble Suite", au milieu de la forêt et des cours d'eau turquoise. Le diner et le petit déjeuner étaient délicieux et les propriétaires très gentils et attentionnés. Das Nachtessen und die Chelis waren der Höhepunkt unseres Fischerausflug an den Engstlensee! Heimelige Location mit Fremdsprache gewagter Wirtefamilie. Das Cordon-Bleu schmeckte toll und es gab sogar Pommes suplement.

Wahren ein paar mal dort zum essen letztes jahr.grosse portionen sehr schmackhaft.wir können es kaum wieder erwarten bis der wagenkehr öffnet im sommer

Gemütliches Restaurant im Gental auf dem Weg zum Engstlensee.Ein Besuch im Restaurant miten in der schönen Natur lohnt sich immer. Sei es zum geniessen einer währschaften Speise oder eines Heidelbeeren Desserts.☕

Nach der Winterruhe kehrten wir wieder im Restaurant Wagenkehr ein zum Mittagessen. Auf der sonnigen Terrasse war es angenehm und die Käseschnitte mit Spiegelei war köstlich. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und nett. Die Küche ist vielfältig und gut. Im Wagenkehr kann man auch Übernachten. Wir durften auch Geisskäse Degustieren und haben dann auch Geisskäse gekauft. Der Wagenkehr ist auch beliebt als Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Ich liebe Wagenkehr. Es strahlt Charakter, Persönlichkeit und eine gewisse Mountain Frontier Qualität, vielleicht weil es hat einen eigenen kleinen Grenzübergang komplett mit Schranke. Das Essen ist sehr gut von der Zimmerkategorie man in den Alpen erwarten Sie frisch zubereitet, die Terrasse ist sonnig, das Innere des Hotels gemütlich und es war alles sehr preiswert's. Und wo sonst kann man kaufen Mountain medizinische Rechtsbehelfe neben Ihrem Kaffee und glänzend gebackener Plum Tarte?

War hier für eine Nacht, bevor wandern die Triftstraße Bridge. Wir waren im Panaroma View Hotel, das ist mehr wie Cottage mit leckerem Essen. Hotel selbst liegt auf dem Gipfel des Berges (fast 1500 m Höhe), gibt Ihnen schöne Aussicht auf die Berge. hier im Sommer und Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien mit Getränken, plauderten alte Erinnerungen mit alten Freunden ... lassen Sie es mich mit einem gedacht - all das ist vom Leben wollen!!

Ich durfte in diesem Restaurant die besten Älplermagronen seit je essen. Einfach traumhaft, viel Käse - de Hammer. Absolut empfehlenswert - ich komme wieder - nur wegen diesen Magronen.
