Not sure what the good reviews were about. The croissant tasted as sad as it looks. It tasted stale, had no flakiness and not much butter fragrance. Honestly, tasted like the packaged ones you get in supermarkets. Coffee was mediocre too. Very disappointed.

Bought some whole wheat bread yesterday. A really great, rich bread that tastes like tried and tested bakery art. This for breakfast just makes you happy.

Small bakery with a great location in a pedestrian street in the historic center of Zurich. Here you can find excellent quality bread, as well as delicious desserts, ready-made sandwiches and birchermuesli. The place is also very famous for its butter braid. I tried the Christmas pasta man, very good, not too heavy and perfectly sized for one person.

Best braid in Zurich!? Perhaps. In the Beck, which has fallen out of time, it is narrow and pleasantly pleasant.

The prices are outrageous! The bread is good but not worth the price. The sandwiches are totally overpriced. It's a shame, despite so many branches, it's more about profit. Maggia bread costs 3 francs less on the market, from suppliers in Ticino...

Wonderful food, cheerful service and reasonable (for central Zürich) price. Definitely recommend. Only ended up here as a local juice bar wanted us to sit inside if we weren't eating and we hadn't decided at that point, so we left and stumbled on here. Also seems to be popular with local workers.

Simple, uncomplicated and extremely fine! The soup on offer is highly recommended in such cold weather!
