The staff is disinterested, not attentive, no one seems to like working there, a shame for the good quality of Walz.

I recently went to Walz (at CEHA) and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. The service was extremely unfriendly and rude, especially to a pregnant woman. Instead of greeting me in a friendly manner, the waitress seemed annoyed and responded angrily to my question as to whether I could order something to drink. I have never been treated so disparagingly. It is completely unacceptable to be so disrespectful and unfriendly in service, especially I gave her no reason to be so. The hospitality leaves a lot to be desired and I definitely won't recommend or visit again. The icing on the cake was when she made an inappropriate comment about my unborn child. I am absolutely speechless.

Actually a good baker with delicious bread and friendly staff. From 6:45 p.m. everything is always sold at half price, which suits me well on my way back from work. So I was able to buy some bread around 6:50 p.m. and was always served in a friendly manner. Unfortunately, there has been a new employee for a few weeks now who is apparently so excited for the end of the day that he has already packed up all the bread by 6:50 p.m. and doesn't want to sell any more. Once I reluctantly received another loaf of bread for the ominous price of one franc. Today he didn't want to sell me anything anymore because I would always be late (it was 6:51 p.m., supposedly 7:02 p.m. according to his watch). I don't think the clock on my smartphone is wrong, as it is constantly synchronized. Migros and Denner were also still open... It's a real shame, I've always enjoyed coming to you, but you really haven't done yourself any favors with this new employee!

Today (Sunday) at 2:30 p.m. I wanted to enjoy a coffee and snack, unfortunately there was no longer any choice of patisserie in Kreuzlingen or Tägerwilen. Very poor performance, totally disappointed and will not visit either restaurant again.

This morning at 8:30 a.m. we ordered a large filled pretzel for 10 people. I was there at 8:25 am. Unfortunately not my order. The three ladies at the service tried very hard to ensure that the order was delivered. They were told on the phone that the delivery person was leaving now and would be there shortly. The same became 30 minutes. My order came at 9:05 a.m. It's just really stupid because my son and his team's break started at 9 a.m. and I still had to drive to Ermatingen. So way too late. The filling wasn't what was ordered either. The egg filling was missing. I wanted to pay with the Thurgau gift card. It didn't work because the device didn't work. As I noticed, I wasn't the only one who had problems with the order that morning. The sales staff was very friendly and helpful. I was offered coffee and croissants. Still, I was very disappointed. And it's embarrassing when you announce a snack that doesn't come until after the break. From now on we will order from Migros again. Very unfortunate.

I don't understand how some people can give bad reviews here. What's sometimes going on here is the crowd... and yet the waitresses are always TOP. And every now and then a few real pains in the ass need a speech! The waitresses don't have to endure everything that some guests offer here. So everything is great here!

I just bought two Berliners for four francs. For whatever reason this price is supposed to justify itself, this pricing policy now means that I will no longer buy Berliners from you. I hope the calculation works out for you.

I buy the Birchermüesli and a menu of the day every day for 11.50 francs - very friendly staff and very good products.

A pity. We can often be found at brunch restaurants. The croissants etc. would be good. But the staff is underfunded. So stressed and overwhelmed. Special requests are difficult. Nothing special in terms of selection. There are far better bakeries in the Toggenburg area with an incredible selection such as pattiseries, Chocolate fountains, hash browns, creams, beautifully set tables with fabric tablecloths, etc. All in all: great potential with room for improvement.

Please teach the staff how to make a cappuccino! Or buy a machine that can definitely do this better. The hot broth that is served to you is always disappointing. Interestingly, this is particularly evident with take-away cappuccinos.

Selection of breads, pastries, cakes etc. simply great. The service and the staff are also very good and friendly (unfortunately not all of them, e.g. the head of the service staff is unfortunately not like that). The trainee Noemi and the service worker Nicole are particularly good.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We felt comfortable and were able to soak up some sun. We can only recommend you.

I go shopping at Walz in Kreuzlingen almost every day and can say from good experience that the products are very fine and of impeccable quality. I also often come here to eat and from my point of view there was nothing to complain about. As far as the staff and service are concerned, I would like to say a lot of praise to the entire team - despite the often very large crowds, the service is very customer-friendly, quick and in a good mood. Two thumbs up from me and please keep it up! You deserve a very good rating!

Unfortunately very bad, some of the tables are not cleaned cleanly, resolute, stressed staff (mostly from Germany, abroad), friendliness leaves a lot to be desired - not recommended. It's a shame for a cafe in the center of Kreuzlingen.

Had a quick stopped for coffee and pastry yesterday and it was worth it. The ambiance is relaxing, though it was crowded. The pastry were really great! Worth many visits... service was good, staff were attentive and efficient.

Food tastes good, staff is totally overwhelmed (in my opinion for no reason other than poor organization), unsympathetic, almost cheeky, and absolutely inattentive.

Wonderful bakery with a great café to linger. In the two years that I have been in Kreuzlingen often, this place has established itself as both my favorite bakery and regular café. The baked goods are first class. The staff is friendly and warm, I feel welcome every time. Our dog is also offered water directly without asking. Ultimate place to be in Kreuzlingen!

The store does not deserve the current average rating. The staff is always very friendly, it has practically never happened that someone served me in a stressed manner. The baked goods are also very good and the restaurant is cozy to have something to eat or just have a drink. The staff really tries hard. With the campus card you even get a discount as a student.

Wanted to eat a salad from the counter here. Last time it worked. They could charge an extra charge of 2 francs. Reference was made to the map. But this salad and none on the menu made me smile. It's a shame... my companion then ate something and I stayed with coffee. In this case, I'll probably go somewhere else after shopping. Staff is otherwise nice.

The friendliest service far and wide. Great selection of breads, rolls and pastries. It's a real pleasure to shop there, even if you have to wait in line for 20 minutes since Corona. The smell of bread rolls is in the air and pleasantly tickles the waiting noses 😂🤣😅💜

Very fine and delicious menus & baked goods. This week, however, I had to wait a long time several times and received something different from what I ordered several times. I had made a reservation, but the reservation was lost/forgotten. The billing was incorrect 3 out of 7 times. A pity. However, the staff was always friendly and helpful.

Paying with postcard is not possible. Neither does Visa credit card. Twint is unknown. Well, I found other providers.

Food is okay, service is partly friendly, but not all. Some seem very stressed and unfriendly. However, waiting 35 minutes or more for the standard lunch menu is definitely too long. Far too few employees in service at lunchtime! It's a shame, I won't go there anymore.

Sliding doors were constantly opened and left open to serve customers outside. Talked to guests there and we were allowed to sit in the draft and enjoy the smoke from the smokers. When we closed the door three times ourselves, we were approached in a tone that I, as a guest, don't have to endure.

Eating pastries in the restaurant costs a surcharge, an absolute no-go and no information that it costs more than if you took it with you, pure rip-off
