It's a trap. Avoid this place, It's terrible. The food was a disaster and also the service ... not to mention the price. If you don't have a choice, avoid fondue and also everything with rösti. Overall, it was a really bad experience, idk why this place is such high rated...

I was extremely satisfied with this typical Valais restaurant. I want to express my compliments to the chef for the exceptional dining experience I had during my visit. I then finally had the pleasure of tasting his famous fondue and I must say that it was one of the best I have ever tasted, even compared to those I have tasted in other contexts... The cheese was rich, creamy and perfectly melted, accompanied from fresh and crunchy bread. It was truly a pleasure to enjoy. In addition to the fantastic fondue, I was also able to appreciate other dishes of Swiss-Valles cuisine on their menu (unfortunately it is difficult to report the German names...). The quality of the ingredients used was evident and the flavors were authentic and delicious. I particularly appreciated the way in which the owner was able to offer and illustrate dishes that respect Swiss culinary traditions, without sacrificing creativity. The restaurant environment is warm and welcoming, with an authentic atmosphere and decor that recalls Swiss tradition. The staff was courteous and attentive... and the owner was able to add that extra touch of warmth and friendliness, which as "Italians" we appreciate so much! Overall, I highly recommend the Walliserstuba restaurant in Brig for anyone looking for a quality, authentic dining experience. The owner is to be commended for the pleasant atmosphere she was able to create :-)

Delicious fondue! The other local specialties were also delicious! The staff was very friendly, and also offered invaluable suggestions on house specialties and drinks to pair with. At the end of the dinner they offered us the possibility of cutlery for some "Christmas" shots which they then printed and gave to us. Highly recommended!

We stopped in Brig for a couple of days and we’re so lucky to have found this restaurant. The fondue we had was out of this world!! The Aperol spritz was divine too. Delightful staff and lovely cozy atmosphere. Just go!!!!!

Fondue heaven!!! So much cheese needed a second basket of bread. The rosti with cheese, bacon and onions was also amazing. The service was very attentive. And the prices were some of the best we've run into in all of Switzerland.

We had a very good meal in this restaurant during our vacation, we ordered the Briger Cordon Bleu, schnitzel and rösti with fried eggs. Everything was very tasty and I can only recommend it. The service staff was very friendly. The prices for Switzerland were absolutely OK.

Walliserstuba is a beautiful little restaurant in the heart of Brig. We ordered the ‘Raclette discrétion’ which means that you get up to seven portions. We sat outside on the terrace and really enjoyed being in Switzerland.

Cheese cuts were simply delicious. Were in the closed terrace.

Lovely place to eat, staff is very friendly, looks very cozy inside and out, and it has a very varied menu. Prices are great and you also get a lot of food. If you want, you can also ask for a "goody bag" so you can take your meal with you. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

On our way through Brig in the Valais Stuba we spontaneously and without a reservation, the four of us ate very fine Rösti dishes in the beautiful garden after starters. Service staff courteous and very friendly, we will definitely come back!

When we're in Valais, we can't miss a delicious raclette. Looking for a suitable restaurant that offers raclette without a reservation is not that easy. But we landed a lucky hit with the Walliserstube. Even without a reservation we got a table for 3. Raclette is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and as already written, we were lucky. 3x Raclette à discretion and a good drop of white wine from the area makes it perfect. It was very nice and we can only warmly recommend it.

Great 👍🏼 The portions are generous. Possibility of taking leftovers as take away. We don't speak German but the waiters also speak English and we had a great welcome. Great moment. I would happily come back. Special mention for the cleanliness of the toilets and especially the availability of hygienic protection for women. Bravo for this initiative.

Typical Swiss restaurant with good food although the fondue (we took the classic one) didn't seem better than others. Friendly attention, all the waiters speak Italian and they even brought us a translated menu. Warm and welcoming place even if a little dated. Plus point that it is very close to the station. Booking in advance is recommended as it is usually full.

Enjoyed a saffron fondue as a birthday menu, simply delicious. Accompany the dessert with a sparkler and singing from the guests. Excellent. Always a pleasure to be a guest in this restaurant.

Place a stone's throw from the station that offers excellent typical Valais dishes and more, I recommend the deer game, very kind and welcoming staff, impeccable place in terms of service and cleanliness, possibility of eating outdoors in the garden and in case you want a a bit of privacy, they have a beautiful room that can be booked on the lower floor.

Very comfortable environment, kind and attentive staff, truly excellent food, a place where the customer feels pampered. If you come to visit Brig you cannot help but take a break at the Walliserstuba, where you will surely be more than satisfied by the taste of the succulent and abundant typical Valais dishes. This is one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Seriously, so amazing. The staff was very friendly and it was a clean nice establishment. We got the pork cutlet with veggies, the rösti in the style of the house, cheese fondue, and the pumpkin soup. Everything was fantastic! Would most definitely recommend!

Ate a Williams fondue today (cheese fondue with Williams). In addition to a good cheese mixture, as a fondue connoisseur in Valais, I expect it to be prepared with (good) wine. It probably evaporated on the kitchen ceiling. I didn't taste any of the wine - and I was sober, as usual.

Very nice little restaurant. We were lucky and got a seat, but you should probably reserve a table as the restaurant is very busy in the evening. The selection of food is very good, I had the impression that it was mainly local dishes and everything was very appealing. I could hardly decide what I wanted to try. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, it took a while at times, but since, as mentioned, there was a lot going on, there was absolutely no criticism and it was still within limits. The prices are quite steep from a tourist perspective, but completely normal for Swiss standards. When I'm in the area again I'll definitely stop by again

Also very good selection of wines by the glass. We'd love to come back! These are gastronomic pearls on the map that are unfortunately becoming increasingly rare today.

Very cozy, typical restaurant with a fair price-performance ratio, super nice, very courteous service and: The most delicious cheese fondue in the region in several variations. We had a tip from our father-in-law who had stayed there 15 years ago and came especially from Kandersteg. We definitely enjoyed it and would love to come back!

Food was really tasty, but I felt racist from some of the staff when the machine wouldn't accept my card (otherwise, strangely enough, it went everywhere). Unfortunately, the staff couldn't think of anything other than to assume that I couldn't pay. It's a shame that certain people seem to judge you based on your skin color!

Absolute must for everyone who loves traditional service and food. Stylishly and elegantly furnished, no wishes are unfulfilled, even in the quiet area. The staff very courteous and professional. You can really recommend the restaurant to everyone. Great 👍👍👍👍

We wanted to have dinner here while passing through. The ambience was nice and the staff friendly. Unfortunately we didn't like the food, in our case cordon bleu. It was fried very brown and extremely greasy. Unfortunately, the cheese didn't taste like anything. It's a shame, hopefully just a blip.

Cosy restaurant in the heart of Brig, a short walk from the railwaystation. We were there in "wild" season and the game was excellent. A good array of local wines by the glass were available to accompany the generous servings. Helpful and friendly service.
