We arrived early at 18:00 when the restaurant was still empty, which was a great decision. We started with sardines& sourdough bread and a nice cocktail with cedar sprout, grape juice and something bubbly. We chose a 4 course menue& were surprised with cooked reedbeet& horseradish, pork chop in a berhoney sauce with apple vinaigrette, whole wheat pasta with topinambur mousse& chips, bacon, coffee dressing, best quince sorbet with an cream cheese foam& pumkin seed croquant. Loved everything!

I can neither understand nor confirm these reviews, some of which are very positive. The concept of the kitchen is good and the quality is okay, but completely overpriced. 125 francs for a simple four-course meal with two glasses of wine and coffee is not entirely unreasonable even for Zurich. But you simply don't get enough, both in terms of quantity (why do you save on vegetables?) and quality (meat was tough and the coffee was simply inedible; I say that as a coffee fan, a piece of cheese as a dessert course is also fine not at all). Of course food is not bad but not to my many other experience of rated restaurant standards. I didn’t like the amuse-bouche to be canned sardine that you choose between options, attention to detail on the plates was not to my expectation, no wine pairing offered, most of the wines in the menu looked like standard table wines, tables are too close to each other, a bit noisy atmosphere. I think that the overall price for this experience wasn’t worth it. For a trendy restaurant without rating, I could have given 5 star but not to a Michelin 1 star at this price level.

Some of their food dishes were well presented and good. Some others lacked creativity or were just average. Overall, very pricey for eating vegetables and one portion of fish. We were very hungry after the 5 course and had to go to M. two hours later! It has potential but clearly overpriced!

Were guests inside - unfortunately the seating is very narrow and therefore there is a lot of background noise. The food is of good quality and served attractively, but the composition was not creative or surprising in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the portions are very small - even if you're not hungry you can easily eat the 4 courses. The service was good and attentive but nothing that you wouldn't get in any middle class restaurant in Zurich.
