Nice decor, delicious meat, music a bit too loud, unfortunately no one speaks even basic English, the waitress had extremely long gel nails…

Unfriendly staff and severely lacking in professionalism.

For a birthday a week ago, meh result. Nice atmosphere but for the rest to be reviewed please, whether in terms of cooking or organization... staying more than 1 hour or even 2 hours, I don't even know anymore, without having a single drop of water it was hard!

I strongly advise you not to eat at Wondergrill in Lausanne. Despite the beauty of the restaurant and its good DJs, the organization leaves something to be desired. To make a long story short, I went there for a birthday and after ordering and waiting 1 hour, I received: - A rare meat even though I had asked for medium-rare meat. (It took another 20 minutes to finally receive the ordered meat) - My cocktail (which I ordered at the start of the meal) arrived literally 2 hours later. - During this time, I had to insist several times to get even a jug of water. - Anyway, there were so many other things, but if I continue to explain everything I will still be writing until tomorrow. I expressed my frustration to a waitress, then to the manager, in a calm discussion although we disagreed. I understand that you can be overwhelmed when there are a lot of customers, but the least you can do is apologize and bring the correct orders. Despite this, no apology for the poor service or goodwill gesture was offered. On the contrary, the manager's father intervened in an aggressive and haughty manner, ordering me to pay within 5 minutes and even calling the police. He even allowed himself to speak to me informally since he spoke to me as if I were his child. This unpleasant experience highlights a lack of professionalism and respect for customers. I would like to point out that I nevertheless repeated several times that I understood that they could be overwhelmed and that I did not even blame the servers. But at a certain point, when you are in charge of a restaurant, you assume your role and you do not allow yourself to speak to your customers as if they were less than nothing. I still wish good results for this restaurant and I wish them to have customers who speak to them like the manager's father spoke to me.

The quality of the service really leaves something to be desired, I make a reservation, I receive the confirmation and the restaurant calls me back 3 days before the event so that I can remove 5 guests because I stipulate “we are in the real world”

Top atmosphere and food at the Wondergrill in Lausanne! Top decor and music, and the meat is a pure delight. Small downside: very slow service and the dishes do not arrive at the same time, so some people eat cold. And their idea of ​​mixed salad, rather comical 😂. Plus, it's quite hot without air conditioning. But the quality is there, so I will go back!

Food was good but maybe a still a bit expensive for the quantity. Chimichurri sauce was more a spiced oil instead of a real chimichurri sauce. Atmosphere looked chick but the strong music gave it a pre-party atmosphere, great for young people who will go out party later on. The best was the service which was really nice and helpful.

The service and ambience was nice. However, I think it's a cheek to charge 39.- for a beef fillet and get 6 small pieces of meat about 5-7cm in size. A side dish was NOT included in this price. The meat was no more than OK but never worth 39 euros. The place is in a shopping center and doesn't even offer a nice view or anything else that would justify the price.

Quality of meat to be desired which makes the price excessive! Disaster service, missing half of the order and getting 6/7 wrong out of 10 dishes. Very burnt meat which gives the taste of charcoal. Restaurant not recommended for meat lovers.

We came as a group to celebrate our friends birthday, which is a very common occurrence here, but had to wait 2 whole hours for our food. We made a reservation and requested halal meat; unfortunately we misunderstood at first, so if you’re planning on coming please note that there’s only one halal option on the menu, and you have to announce your need for halal meat ahead of coming. The staff is very kind, friendly and professional but unfortunately the waiting time made it a bitter experience. The atmosphere however was a 10/10!

I went for New Years, they served me a meat filled with fat and not cooked in the right way the meat was dry, the only positive point was the atmosphere and the bar man who saved my evening I thank him.

I reserved a table for 2, for December 31st. We arrive there at 7:30 p.m. as planned and the reservation in my name is not registered. I showed proof that I called on 21.12 for a reservation and they confirmed this. (The excuse was there were lots of people who called). They wanted to set up a table for me which is towards the exit of the restaurant, in a small corner. I am very disappointed with the customer service. We had to look for another restaurant that still had space, which is very complicated for 12/31/2023

Arriving at 6:30 p.m., the wondergrill team was able to welcome us with ease and serve us quickly. The background music was perfect to set the mood and the food was exquisite. Special mention for the wings as a starter and the sauces as an accompaniment. We all had a great time and we recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

No comments, seriously disappointed... 2 hours of waiting for a tomahawk and I'm still hungry. How do you expect my wife to eat her meal without services? Meat lovers at these prices are better off ordering from Lumabeef and cooking the meat yourself.

If you value your money and patience, don't set foot in this restaurant... There is ONLY positive point: good decor but nothing more Service: off the mark...royally - a Tablet to order, which is actually useless because it's just to choose the dish with an image and THEN we come and take your order manually... We came at 8:00 p.m., we waited 15 minutes to give our order. At 8:30 p.m. we are served the starters - good, average goat's cheese salad, nothing more...for almost 20 francs? - CHF 9.- for 6 pieces of onion rings which had no taste... same taste as at Lidl (inferior at Lidl itself..) And worse...the main course was served at 9:47 p.m....yes you read that right...a Thursday, of course there was a company dinner nearby but...really, 2 to serve, 2 in the kitchen, stop accepting people for money because you are not responsible for the service. First time I've been THIS disappointed with a restaurant.. The Tomahawk...120 francs FOR 2 PEOPLE? Given the size...no sorry but no. No more taste... The vegetables ? Horrible, I haven't finished it, it looks like ratatouille without tomato sauce but instead, 1 liter of oil... The fries are dry and in addition to having waited so long for the food, they still forget to give us a portion of fries. We have to restart AGAIN to get them and THEN AGAIN because there was no cheddar on them... They also forgot to give us a fork, I waited another 5 minutes to get it knowing that I already had the food in front of me... Nonchalant service and tasteless music for a so-called “classy” restaurant Too bad, you had potential All this for CHF 187.-?! You had us once, not twice.

The cocktails are excellent but that's it, the service is slow and unprofessional, the prices are completely crazy for what we are served. The meat was overcooked and dry, the grilled vegetables are actually pieces of corn and a little zucchini and eggplant, the children's syrups are as expensive as the rest. We got it for 300.- for 2 adults and 3 children (8 years, 3 years and 18 months)

Since nothing is going well, I don't even know where to start... the service was catastrophic, we had a large table for a birthday, first of all we were given a tablet to take our orders but it was just to watch the menu since a waitress came to ask us again what we wanted to order... there are 3 different menus on their "fancy" tablet: the meat, the side dishes and then the sauces....lots of people didn't know that there was sauce, the waiters didn't explain anything at all. The dishes arrived randomly as the evening progressed, that is to say that some had their main plates but without the accompaniments and without the sauces... while others simply had not received their plates.... the only positive point I can give is the quality of the meat which was not bad but it is the suppliers who must be complimented!! Aaah yes it’s the first time I’ve tasted hot green salad!!! Yes hot... because the smart people in the kitchen thought that green salad could stay fresh on a plate at 100° If you want to eat in peace or with friends, don't come here, you'll be disappointed... it's way too expensive for what it is and isn't necessarily worth it.

I was looking for an amazing place for my birthday. It was our first time at Wonder Grill, our expectations were met. Friendly welcome, in a pleasant and warm setting. In an atmosphere with modern Afro-Caribbean sounds. We wanted to discover something new and eat well. The quality of the meat is excellent and succulent. The accompaniments lived up to our expectations. We enjoyed our stay, the whole team was attentive to our needs and with discretion. I got a nice surprise for my birthday! A composed dessert, the chef's secret and a delight for my gourmet taste buds...I can only recommend the Wonder Grill, in a neighborhood in full swing. An experience to repeat. See you soon.

The service was not up to par. Something happened each time, from the chaotic ordering to the opening of the wine that we had to end up making ourselves. The tablets which serve as menus were buggy (we had to restart one). The food was good but nothing more, I didn't fall in love with it. We took the tomahawk, the quality of which was nothing more. The mac and cheese was good, though. The shot offered at the end raised the level somewhat.

We were very well received, the service was impeccable and the staff were friendly, as was the manager with whom we had the chance to speak. The food and especially the meat was incredible. I highly recommend this address. We had a great time and will return. Possibility of parking in the underground car park of the shopping center (right next door).

Hidden gem near Riponne/Tunnel ! The location is random, but once inside, the atmosphere is really cozy and trendy - yet the service feels very relaxed. Food is highly qualitative, strongly recommend to try their excellent home-made sauces (Mango-habanero and Jack Daniels-BBQ are a must) with any of the meat they propose (tomahawk is very good). Cherry on top : the cocktails are amazing ! The barman (Dylan) is very creative and passionated about mixology, the balance in his cocktail is truly exceptionnel, exceeding what you would taste in very fancy bars. We were not expecting this when we booked for this (mainly) grill restaurant, but it's a huge plus. We could actually go only to try their cocktails. Just ask him what you like and he will tailor something for you ! Finally the head of the restaurant is a very nice person, always willing to satisfy the clients and is very enjoyable to exchange with. The quality/price ratio is more than fair. We already went three times in this place and are looking forward to the next one !

First of all, the place is sublime and the atmosphere is great (Excellent musical choices) and we were warmly welcomed by the staff who really take care of the customers. Mocktails (incredible!) and a deliciously good starter were offered to us. As for the meal, also a 10/10. Having each priced a different dish we were all satisfied, the meat is delicious, tasty with a lot of taste. The starters, sides and sauces are incredible (garlic bread and Chimichurri sauce for me 😍). I would also add that they paid special attention to dessert for my birthday and I loved it 😍 Thanks to Wonder Grill for this great experience, we were all very satisfied and will definitely come back!
