Negative: 1. Unfriendly service, she looked really annoyed when I was the only customer standing in front of her. 2. Bürli was forgotten to put in the bag. (It's unclear whether I forgot or missed it when ordering because I didn't find a receipt in the bag) 3. Place a 2.5cm2 piece of plastic film in the salad. (It's good that you look into the bowl every now and then while eating) "Positive": the name of the bakery is perfectly chosen and reflects my experience.

The tagliatelle was too oily, but super tasty, and the almond stick was delicious. The coffee is okay

This patisserie is in a great location on Berninaplatz and is also open on Sundays! I was here for a coffee and I really appreciated the tranquility of the room, simple but comfortable design. The products are very classic and the quality is average, the biscuit I tried was really very buttery. The experience was nevertheless pleasant

Attentive and understanding, kind people. Without knowing languages, they sold me what I wanted, and I had a coffee with milk. I wrote them two notes on paper as a sign of gratitude. It is now easy to buy bread and have breakfast like in Spain. Big persons. With the attitude of those women, life would be PEACE.

Me and my partner went to get coffee this morning, I've never experienced such unfriendly staff, for 4 cappuccinos 20fr, an absolute cheek, only a small Nespresso, the rest is milk and not even warm, then we ask is the Mostbröckli, no, it's beef otherwise it would be more expensive. What kind of answer is that? We'll give it the first and last time

A very nice option (that is open on Sundays) for a quick breakfast. Nice seating options both outside and inside. Various sorts of sweets and croissants (Corn Croissant 🥐 is a must). The ladies working there are super nice and the prices are very acceptable for a bakery in Zürich.

I really liked the place, location and ambiance. It was Sunny afternoon and had good time with family. We ordered cappuccino, green tea and brownies. Felt bit pricy. Service is ok. Would try to go again to try other stuff.

Croissants and coffee very good. The young waitress was very friendly. The older one was a bit curt. Self-service at the entrance and pay immediately. Otherwise very clean and comfortable.

The bakery is actually quite ok, but I was a bit surprised by the poor selection of dishes for vegetarians. There is a special room where you can eat, but you can only find sandwiches here including dead animals. It's a shame and the lunch menu also seems to only be available in limited quantities. Good thing there is less food wasting but also a meager selection and fare.

The selection of pastries is good and the opening hours on Sundays are also an advantage. However, the quality of the baked goods is standard and nothing special, the dough is sometimes very dry. In my opinion the price-performance ratio is not right and there are definitely better bakers in Zurich...

Once you understand the self-service concept it's okay, the coffee is very good. I would have liked a slightly larger selection.

Be very careful when ordering. There is a massive 3x price difference between take away and outside drinking. Staff will make sure to ask in swiss German in a way that foreigner will not understand and then suddenly switch to English when you complain. Best to avoid and go to a nearby kiosk

It has a wide range. The new interior of the café was very successful. The staff is very friendly and works very quickly.

A bit disappointing... I wanted to get breakfast today on Whit Monday. Already at 11:00 a.m. there was no croissant, small rolls or a selection of sandwiches.

This is the second time we have been there and they tried to rip us off both times. They always added an extra coffee or charged us more for each product. A shame for the service, although we live nearby we will not be returning to this site.

Unfriendly (possibly underpaid) young employees, service is unfortunately not good. Quality of food is avarege. Although I live in the neighborhood, I have to avoid this place.

Super good bakery, with solid service and coffee. Their österchüechli, which is only available during March and April each year, is the best in Zurich. Also, their burratta sandwich and brownies are big highlights.

Price performance is unbalanced. Conditions, especially from the younger employees, are unfriendly and every step seems to be too much effort. The ham on the 1 meter bread was tarnished and the bread was too dry, while 2 strawberry cakes were fine, professionally made and stable. Berliners are great. Clay rolls were tasteless. Despite various recessions saying the same thing, I don't see any positive change in the last few months. A pity.

The BEST pumpkin soup I have ever tried and super great staff. I am missing it so much right now. Thank you very much for heating the soup up again after it got cold. It was a wonderful work environment. I will definitely come back very soon. Much love.

I had a good stay. A couple of coffees, some pastries. I did not have the same problems than in other reviews. I did not have to queue outside because I arrived really early here. However there was a big line around 8-10 outside the shop so prepare to wait at the busy hours. From tourists perspective it is expensive but so is every place in this city. Free wifi.

Price/performance is not quite right. Expensive items (cream slices), but taste worse than Coop or Migros

If you save personnel costs, the operation is a catastrophe. Sunday September 5, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., over 20 people lined up outside along the street. Inside, the service has been reduced to 2 (!), of which only 1 serves customers at the counter. When I draw your attention to the situation outside, the employee reacts stressed, first strikingly and then unfriendly. Frankly, I have more understanding than management assumes responsibility for. Avoid Sundays at all costs until things get better! Customers must vote with their feet.

One of the worst bakery I have been to. Price is higher than most places in Zürich, for really poor products. Ok I get it ingredients are natural and local ... but sorry it just tastes horrible from the croissant to the sandwiches and pastries...

This could be a great place: the bread and baked goods are good, some are excellent and it’s in an area with not much other bakeries. The catch though is that the service is very unfriendly. I have been going here since they opened (like three years) and it’s only getting worse. Try to interact with the people as little as possible and you’ll be fine.

This place is a nice surprise to me. I find it cozy, small but sufficient for me. I enjoyed a Saturday starting with a cup of coffee and cake here.

Bad service. Was in the restaurant with a blind person. I'm standing in line and see a person serving and talking to the other saleswoman. The other saleswoman doesn't pay any attention to me and calmly sorts price tags instead of serving. There is a line of customers outside the coffee shop!! Same experience at Wüst Kaffee Schaffhauserstrasse/Rötelstrasse... unfriendly, irritable and you get the impression that you are being DISTURBING. I left the restaurant with the blind person and we disappeared never to be seen again.

The offer was very generous and everything looked very good and appetizing, but the service was extremely unfriendly. We didn't know exactly what we wanted, so we stood in front of the counter and looked at what was on offer. The saleswoman was so impressed that we didn't know what we wanted that she made comments like: Are you finally ready? made, we walked straight out of the store without buying anything.

I laughed my ass off and left the restaurant laughing. At Jelmoli the coffee costs 3.50 to take away at Beck and is even better!! And drinking coffee at the bar in the noble shopping center Jelmoli also costs less. Feel free to check for yourself...

Very, very fine chocolate croissants! We didn't try any other baked goods but they generally looked nice. We sat in the cafe and deducted a star for the service. We waited a long time for our cold chocolate and coffee. First the chocolate croissants came, then the cold chocolate cookies, then we had to ask twice for the coffee until it came after a total of more than 20 minutes. The comment wasn't an apology or anything like that, but rather a "So, unbelievable!" And that was it. Another lady brought my son paper and colored pencils shortly before we left, which was very nice, it would have been nice if she had brought these to us at the beginning.

It's good there to have breakfast, have a coffee or tea, you can also have a snack, now I'm sure they prepare light things if you want to have lunch in a hurry, they are friendly people. Now for appetizers or drinks we are an ideal place.
