The food was quite okay. Price performance far too high. The vegetarian plate at CHF 42.- is even more expensive than if you go out to eat in Zurich!!

The YAFA Restaurant in Thun is a real insider tip for lovers of oriental cuisine. When I visited, I was immediately impressed by the warm atmosphere and friendly service. All in all, my visit to YAFA was a true culinary discovery. Very authentic restaurant. Falafel tastes excellent. The only negative point is that (in my opinion) the pocket bread is not homemade. A bit of a shame.

Happy to have found ourselves an amazing Palestinian restauraunt in Thun! Food is authentic and delicious! We got the Mixed Starter Mezze Platter and the Muhamara is definitely a winner.

Ate there twice and ordered take-away once. Always very tasty and generous portions. Everything freshly prepared. We always enjoy eating here.

This place truly surprised me and exceeded my expectations. The falafel was phenomenal, lentil soup was tasty and balanced, hummus was creamy and delicious, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The owners were quite warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back to Yafa!!

We were at Yafa for the evening buffet. The buffet was very diverse and excellent! It had various salads, hummus & dips, and the main course included samosa, stuffed eggplant, spring rolls, vegetable rice and other oriental specialties. For dessert there was a fine semolina cake and a dessert with rose water similar to panna cotta. The in-house tea & coffee was also very good! The service was very friendly! Price/performance TOP! Definitely not a run-of-the-mill restaurant - great to have something like this in Thun!

On the other hand, the chef has a high moral character and is generous with the amount of food served and the young people who work with him are cheerful. Highly recommended! Very friendly lady welcomed us with big smile and we were served fast, it was Sunday nearly 15 o’clock but we could order lunch menu. I didn’t take a photo but there was a salad or soup. Everything was so delicious!!! We will come back when we are in the area!

Suggestions for improvement: The food could have been served hotter (food was warm and not hot) It would be nice if the chicken was from Switzerland. Excellent experience!! We had two dishes : vegetarien and taouk. The quantity was generous ans the taste was amazing. Probably one of the best middle-eastern restaurants we have ever tried. And the final touch baklawa was delight. The staff is very kind. We highly recommend it 😍

We spontaneously visited this restaurant after we were near Thun and were not disappointed. The food is very tasty and you can feel the attention to detail and the joy of cooking. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. A very clear recommendation for anyone who enjoys Arabic food! My recommendation is the Yafa plate and the Arabic pizza.

A restaurant in the city of Thun near Interlaken for 25 days. minute. The quality of the food is very high, and the service and reception are very nice. Advice to the Arab brothers, they have the best kabsa rice, shawarma, and grilled meat. Mashallah, everything is delicious with them. Don't miss it if you want to try Arabic food on vacation. I would like to meet the director or director in person so that we can thank them personally. But we will definitely have another visit.

I give it 5 stars for the taste. The service was very good at the beginning. But at the end we were asked if we would like to try tea. Yeah sure why not? But when we paid we noticed that the tea wasn't free but cost 25 francs, which is even more expensive than my main course. That really annoyed us. You could have told us that the tea is chargeable. No more.

Oriental insider tip!! We didn't know the newly opened restaurant yet and wanted to convince ourselves of the food. We ordered the mezze platter, which is highly recommended. You get a colorful mix of different starters and main courses. The food was extremely tasty, the service was attentive and extremely friendly and warm. Only the ambience could use a little more “warmth”. We were pleasantly surprised and a little sad that we only now discovered such a great restaurant. An insider tip that is worth every visit. We will be back definitely!! Thank you for the delicious food.
