Extremely friendly staff. Always in a good mood and the food is simply very tasty👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 and the portions are generous.

The food was really inedible. I'm really not picky and often eat a variety of Asian dishes, but this was so disgusting, I had to leave the plate after a few bites and leave. The service was okay.

Hello Unfortunately, my experience with the duck pasta was one of fat overload and lacked tender duck meat. The portion was mostly fat which detracted from the taste experience. The quality of the duck meat was disappointingly low. Overall, the fat to meat ratio was unbalanced and I'm hoping for an adjustment to ensure the authentic taste of duck pasta.

The food was extremely tasty and the atmosphere was optimal. Thank you for that!

The food was cheap but didn't taste good. It was very overcooked!

We were customers who often picked up food at Yam Yam. It was from good to okay but yesterday it was a disaster and we are considering reporting it to the WKD. The quality was poor. The portions are small but we accepted that. The handling of the goods was simply disgusting. The lady who served the food collected money and, with unwashed fingers, put the food in the box with her fingers. At first we looked past it. But after a hellish night with nasty diarrhea and terrible stomach pains, we won't be visiting Yam Yam again and can't recommend it. In addition, we don't have to be treated unkindly. We pay money and are not animals to be handed food. An incredible experience

The noodles are average. Sauces too runny and taste artificial. Otherwise OK.

Unfortunately the food is very bland. No taste and if left for a very long time, the food has already gone bad. The service is very nice and the offer for students is nice but unfortunately the quality is poor.

Good value for money and the guy was really nice! Food prices are very economical here as compared to the other places. The taste was good but the food was already prepared. It makes sense considering the prices. But the place has a good sitting arrangement and it is right in the center of the town. I thought it is good for students or who want to quickly grab a bite and go with their daily business.

Very tasty Asian food right on Barfüsserplatz! Without preservatives or flavor enhancers, which is very important these days. The service was also very nice and quick. I would be happy to come back at any time and definitely recommend Yam Yam!

The food is quite good, the employees were very friendly. The atmosphere is quite nice. But the restaurant is not a place where you would spend long evenings. It's definitely suitable for quick hunger and the price-performance ratio is definitely right.

The food was quite solid, but there was a piece of aluminum foil in my food, which I find very critical, therefore only 2 out of 5 stars.

The food tastes good. Well, when you order, only half of it always arrives and you still pay for the undelivered food. Then you make a second order for the forgotten items and not everything arrives again. And yet you still pay the price for the undelivered item. Then you call and ask what's going on: "yes, I'm alone mimimimi" ....

Inexpensive and solid Asian food (I had noodles with chicken sweet & sour), more of a fast food character, friendly service. Good soft drink recommendation (Oishi green tea with honey/lemon). — For the 5th star, the toilet quality would have to be significantly better (would have almost cost the 4th star...): Two shabby and unkempt cabins. I would also have liked disinfectant for these toilet seats, but it wasn't available (I'm not picky about it otherwise), the flush doesn't work well, there's no hook for the jacket, only facial tissues for drying my hands... Well, there's a lot of room for improvement... 😏 (Maybe there are We Swiss are spoiled, but fortunately I have rarely encountered such a standard in Swiss toilets...)

Unfortunately I can't recommend the peanut sauce, it smells like some kind of ready-made sauce in the box. I would give almost 1 star for noodles with soy sauce because at least you could still eat them... Tip to YamYam, try your food yourself

I’m Asian and I certify this Authentic and tasty. Prices are also a lot more affordable than other nearby eateries 👍🏻🎉 We had the fried rice and fried noodles along with beef curry and duck with peanut sauce. I enjoyed the food and most importantly it did not burn a hole in my pocket

Lovely place for a bite to eat, tastes delicious. If you have celiac, you need to be careful with your order, and during busy times, chances are they can't accommodate for your needs.

Affordable place with good style and options. Peanut butter + duck + fried rice is loved by us <3 I think the main theme was built around Thai food as they also offer Thai beer. Asian black/green ice teas are among the soft drink options besides regular fizzy drinks. We enjoyed the atmosphere; the plates and the food looked and tasted homey. One minor thingy: the lady behind the counter seemed unattentive, yet since we've been a cheerful group, we didn't mind it ^^°

For at least the third time, part of the order was not delivered. For the last missing order, a forwarding or refund would be refused. Of course, we never received the compensation promised at the time. Today they again refused to deliver the order or refund the money. After I requested my order on site, I received it. No apology, no view at all. Loud argument like: "We received a promotion and shouldn't complain... You can't transfer the money and you have to contact the boss... she worked long hours...". It's just an absolute disgrace and it simply can't be. Sorry, will never order from Yam Yam again.

The rice with sweet and sour chicken I ordered was anything but what it was supposed to be. The chicken was very very dry. The sweet and sour sauce tasted like a fallen sack of sugar in the dish! No real sweet and sour sauce. This is the worst Asian dish I've had so far. It's only worth trying with a Poinz voucher, but not for eating out. The vegetables in the sauce were partly overcooked and partly still firm. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Doesn't deserve the name "Asian Restaurant". There are better restaurants there

This restaurant seems to be made up of two spaces: a take away and a stay-in. Poorly signposted, we went to the take away. And what a disappointment. A plate with a ladle of noodle, one of white chicken and one of peanut sauce. No look, no taste and no appearance. Very unfortunate when you see the reviews on the internet... I won't go back and don't recommend it, not even for students (advantageous price).

Basically tasty, but the noodles are cold. Luckily the curry is somewhat warm, so everything together is at least lukewarm 🤔

Einer der Mitarbeiter fiel bei jedem meiner Besuche durch seine extreme Unfreundlichkeit auf. Eine weitere Mitarbeiterin ebenso. Seit einer gewissen Zeit bin ich daher nur noch ohne die Anwesenheit dieser beiden Mitarbeiter beim Yam Yam anwesend. Die anderen Mitarbeiter sind jedoch sehr freundlich. Noch eine Anmerkung zu der einen Unfreundlichen: Sie vermischt die Saucen nicht so gut mit den Nudeln. Hier besteht Verbesserungsbedarf, da das Essen gruundsätzlich sehr gut schmeckt.

I was craving for the asian food so much the other day, so I stumbled upon this asian eatery in the central Basel. Loved this place! Food was yummy. Was served also fast. So when In Basel, I always stop by now to satisfy my crave :) Отличная азиатская кухня в центре Базеля. Было очень вкусно. Ребята работают быстро и цена довольно неплохая.
