Yoya Pita in Basel

We chose the veggie plate for 2 and it was indeed the best choice as you get to experience every dish from the menu and it was more than enough for 2 people and extremely tasty too! :)

Yoya Pita is the best Middle Eastern spot in Basel. The staff and in particular the owner Yacki are great! The food is authentic and great quality; I go to Jerusalem for weeks to months at a time each year so I know Israeli and Middle Eastern food. I eat here a few times a week and have been a regular for years. The pita is heavenly and the baba ghanoush out of this world. Also the plates in general for everything are great. The vegetarian options are broad which is useful for me as a vegetarian. Highly recommend.

Great bite, it is a good start if you want to try Israeli food. Hummus texture was proper, unfortunately the bitterness from the fried eggplants kinda killed the flavors. Not enough olive oil. The falafel lack in taste, but wasn’t bad at all. The salad was warm and swam in its juices and they didn’t have zhug which I love with hummus. Nonetheless, I recommend, good place.

Amazing fresh food served with a smile and welcoming atmosphere😻 forget what you learned about falafel and Hummus in europe, those guys know what they do and make everything fresh on spot. I would personally recommend the pita sabich and schawarma with amba sauce, my favorites🧆🫓🧆

Amazing restaurant at amazing location on Basel station. I would highly recommend their Shakshuka and pita falafel. The staff is quite nice with great service. The prices are quite economical too considering in Switzerland.

We ordered food from many places and ate at alot of places where they sell these kind of menus. For this price the qualitiy is very good. I saw some bad reviews here but they must be for the SBB one, because the one from clara is very very very good.

I tried the restaurant at the train station in Basel and found the food delicious. The breads are fluffy and the fillings are super tasty! Please open one in Lucerne as well

I chose a mixed salad plate with chicken to put together myself. Price performance for 17.- CHF TOP! I haven't eaten such a delicious salad in a long time. Super good selection of toppings, maybe add nuts or seeds as a topping, then it would be perfect.

The food was really very tasty. We ordered a dish for two people, but it is enough for several people. The price for Switzerland is not too expensive. I recommend it.

Falaffel with rubber bread. Bought a falafel here today for a price of 12.-. The bread came from a warming box, the remaining ingredients, well, didn't justify the price.

Very delicious food with authentic Lebanese spices. The pita bread is fluffy and melts in your mouth!! The fries with the tahini sauce are a-must-try! I will definitely visit again to taste the rest of the menu!

Delicious! We had first time here Hummus Sababa and Malwawch which was wow, finally a place in Basel that knows how to do it, not like the copy cats around here. Highly Recommended! There is a bar here for drinks with moderate prices and a selection of various dishes from different regions from burgers to African food, Mexican or Thai shawarma... everything looks super tasty and the price is okay. We tested the burgers today. Mexican with jalapenos and hot fire with chilies... both not spicy but otherwise great!! Service everywhere was super quick and friendly!! 5 Stars!! Food almost perfect. Overall recommended!

Nice food court, but would have expected a lot more for a fairly small falafel for 14.-. Pita was rubbery, cold, sauce was too salty... if you know the Pittaria in Solothurn, don't come here.

Very good pita shawarma and delicious tahini sauce. The bread is simply ultra soft. The potatoes could have a little more on the outside.

There is a numerous selection of Israeli food. It tastes wonderful and the homemade hummus is really great. The pita bread is also wonderful. Great address in Basel. Israeli vibes are guaranteed.

Fresh ingredients with a lot of flavour. Hearty portions. I have eaten here twice (via uber eats), each time the food is delivered hot and within a reasonable wait time (30mins approx).

Super tasty, but why don't you have the hummus with the shawarma plate anymore? It was previously included and if you want it with you now you have to pay 5.- more. If so, the price for the current Shawarma Plate composition has to be a little cheaper... otherwise it's really not a fair offer. I have ordered from you very often, but unfortunately not anymore.

I have been eating here more and more often ( well now getting take away) . I was amazed by Israeli food when i visited the country and eating here always give me such fond memories. everything on the menu is delicious. I can also recommend this for the vegetarian and vegan food served here. My favourite is the Vegan baba ghanoush. The chef uses al Arz Tahini, and sometimes will sell it to customers . Such good ingredients, such good food.

Als Israel kenne ich mich mit gutem Hummus und Fallafel aus und ich kann ehrlich sagen, dass ich, außer in Israel, nicht ansatzweise so guten Hummus oder Fallafel gegessen. Auch das Pitabrot ist einfach nur spitzenklasse.Für Liebhaber Israelische Küche und Fallafel ist ein Besuch bei YoYa Pflicht.

Das Essen war wunderbar und der Service ist abselut top. Ich habe verschiedenes für die ganze Familie bestellt und die Kinder und wir haben alles toll gefunden. Es war sehr grosszügig.
