Nice restaurant in a well-known good location. Extremely attentive and pleasant service. Classic good quality as in Bindella to be expected. Price performance is good. Small but nice selection of open wines too.

Amazing restaurant! Such a high quality of food and wine was unexpected, it did feel like we are really in Italy :) great service; we arrived for a late lunch on one of the first saturdays of the year and it was very empty. Loved it and will def be back!

This small Italian restaurant is now located in the former Wings Airline Bar on Limmatquai. The friendly staff served us courteously from reception at the front door to the end. We felt very comfortable and the food was delicious. By the way, there are no longer any pizzas on the menu, but we were informed of this in advance. There's nothing to complain about here - everything is tip top!

Wonderful service and outstanding food! We had a starter, first course, second course and dessert and everything was perfect. The quality of the food was A1 and the waiters were very attentive and accommodating. A perfect evening!! Thanks!

Small, calm and romantic dinner place. It’s challenging here choosing your order - just everything sounds amazing. I chose the carpaccio as a starter followed by truffle tagliolini with white alba truffle. It was delicious, couldn’t get enough of it. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner with exquisite menu.

One of my favorite addresses on Limmatquai. As a risotto lover, I definitely recommend the saffron risotto as a side dish to the scaloppine al marsala. Delicious! The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Thank you!

What a nice and cozy restaurant with very friendly and professional staff. The fish dishes we chose were delicious with a delicious bottle of white wine. I thought the cabbage under my cod was too salty. No problem at all, it was resolved professionally, as it should be. Top!!

Beautiful little restaurant with excellent food. The staff is so accommodating that you're not used to that anymore. The pizzas are prepared in front of the guest and baked in the oven. Absolute recommendation: The Vitello tonnato and the Negroamaro from Masseria Maime. Thanks!

As a solo traveler you often get a “cat table”. That wasn't the case here, I was allowed to choose. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was courteous and the quiet Italian background music created a pleasant atmosphere.

The restaurant is known for its outstanding pizza. However, apparently the concept was changed and pizza is no longer on the menu. This was neither communicated on the website nor at the restaurant. We were quite disappointed, other dishes were mid at best and the large pizza oven which was once the center piece of the restaurant looks displaced...

Zeferrano Served by the friendly Manuel, we immediately ordered a Douro wine. Did not have. First class Italian food. We went for a good Tuscan, then, to accompany a veal ravioli with truffles (39f) and a delicious margherita pizza (22f). Ardore 2020 from tenuta valoccaia. This merlot with c. Sauvignon. Special congratulations for the ravioli with truffles. Perfect spot and just the right amount of truffles. Excellent smell and flavor. Restaurant with beautiful decor and excellent service. And the most special thing of all, which is being forgotten around the world, is the right glass for wine. It didn't have to be riedel, but it was. Congratulations zafferano team.

Around the closing hours of the zürich fäscht, we were passing by this restaurant and boy did they accomodate us. The guy was visibly tired from day's work but every demand of ours was met with a smile. We ordered a margarita and one other veggie pizza suggested by the waiter. I kid you not, they were heavenly. They were also nice enough to pack a piece of bread & butter for my finicky 2 yr old son. BTW my son only got a small piece of it :D it was too good. TBH a bread that good does not need butter. Thanks guys. Highly recommended!

The visit was definitely worth it. The food was very good. We had pizza, risotto and shrimps. The service was friendly and attentive. We were able to linger very well and had a successful evening. The only "point of criticism" when I asked whether you could have a cocktail as an aperitif or whether there was something on the menu was simply answered with "No". They could have recommended something to me, for example Prosecco or something like that. Otherwise we were very satisfied with the visit.

We left the table almost immediately and we wanted to recommend this excellent address to you. All dishes are made from fresh and tasty ingredients. Seasonal green asparagus is divinely simple. The black truffle pizza (grated before your eyes), stunning. The canelonni ricotta spinach nutmeg, invigorating without being stuffy. Sage gnocchi, delicious. And all served by friendly and very professional staff. What more ?

It’s ok, the menu is mainly pizza. Not much flexibility. Pasta dishes are limited. I had the truffle pizza and it was average.

Chances upon this restaurant while walking around Zurich. Ate a Tuna pizza and Tiramisu. Both were outstanding. We were served by Kim who was exceptionally friendly and warm and ensured we were comfortable. His sense of humour was great! Loved the overall experience and will definitely return on our next visit to Zurich!

Our new favorite Italian. The pizza is authentically Italian and absolutely delicious, the service is first class, my partner's Negroni was the best he's ever had and the desserts complete the whole experience perfectly. An absolute heartfelt recommendation.

Great new Bindella restaurant with great service, high quality ingredients and delicious dishes. Plus well-matched wines. Pleasant atmosphere, target group from bankers to hipsters. However, the price is definitely high.

A few weeks ago I went to the restaurant and had a nice dinner. I haven't felt so comfortable and at home in a restaurant for a long time. The food was spectacular, the attention from everyone was incredible, from the chef, the waiters and the incredible host Tina Caracciolo who was wonderful to us. You all made it a magical night for us. I will definitely be back soon and highly recommend the restaurant.

Stumbled across this restaurant tonight and so pleased I did. Lovely room with an open part of the kitchen so you can watch the chefs preparing some terrific pizza. Special menu featuring white truffles from Alba proved too temping and I was not disappointed by the risotto. A good test of an Italian dessert chef is to order the pistachio gelato. It was perfect. Pistachios from Brontë ( of course) creamy texture, purely delicious!! Friendly and efficient staff. Would be happy to return.

The service was attentive but never intrusive and very friendly, simply great. We haven't experienced such good service in a long time. The food is also first class. The ambience is modern and cozy and the open pizza oven and the predominantly Italian-speaking staff exude a pleasant touch of Italianità.

Nice, rather small restaurant with small table spaces - service was extremely friendly and organized (bravo!) - the pizza with lobster was OK (not as exceptional as the price suggests) - the mixed salad was very small - the carpaccio was nothing special - the wine list of course brilliant (to be expected at Bindella's establishment) - it was a great evening with our friend, although the food wasn't completely convincing. We would still like to come back and try other dishes.

As soon as we arrived in the city, we immediately looked for an Italian restaurant and found zafferano. The staff were all Italian and they welcomed us as if we were at home. We ate a delicious beef fillet and an amazing pizza, like the ones you can eat in Naples. To finish, a special dessert specially made by the chef which left us simply astonished. It was truly a pleasure and a wonderful discovery!

“En famille” 👪 we had dinner. The Carpaccio Cipriani is an excellent starter and the pizzas are excellent, especially the "Tartufo Nero" pizza. The pizza “a modo nostro” was also particularly appreciated. João Jordão is a great host and Rosa's service was efficient and charming. We'll be back - at piccolo Ristorante.

The Ristorante Zafferano is a new, very distinctive location. The service staff is first class. What I can't understand is the fact that there is neither a pasta nor a rice dish on the menu. The pizza quality is good, but can also be found in numerous pizzerias. It gives the impression of an Italian ristorante, but in fact it is a pizzeria.

The restaurant is small but very nice...The open kitchen creates a great atmosphere. The food tastes very good and is very freshly prepared. Gladly again.

Great ambience, very attentive and courteous service and Vera Pizza Napoletana that is second to none. 🍕 The young pizzaiolo comes straight from Naples and when I spoke to him a few days before our lunch he promised me that he would make the best pizza in town. Well what can I say: he didn't promise too much 👌🏻 Be sure to visit and order and enjoy one of the fantastic pizzas!!

Very fine food and courteous service. Since the restaurant is not very large and well divided, it was quiet and “homey”. I would particularly like to highlight the Bufalina pizza, the stuffed peppers and the rosé wine. We will definitely come more often.

On my trip to Zurich, going to this place was the best choice ever! The staff is lovely and the food is exquisite. 10/10. We will be back next year.
