I am completely thrilled with the Ermatinger AG confectionery bakery! The homemade cakes are not only a feast for the eyes, but also a highlight in terms of taste. The attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients are unmistakable. The friendly staff rounds off the overall experience perfectly. A must for anyone looking for a sweet treat!

An absolutely picturesque cafe in the tiny town. Just like the novels, get a hot cuppa with your beau, sit by the window to look out to the snow while seeing people adorning Christmas lights. We got the meringue and raspberry cake with the hot chocolate. And boyyyyy it was divine! Beedi was so kind to give us these two desserts complimentary in the picture! Let me tell you it was the best I've tasted. The coconut one especially is what dreams are made of!! Thank you so much for all the hospitality! Lots of love from Singapore! ❤️

Very nice bakery with a lot of selection and nice staff.

The shop is of course a great address in Schaffhausen. There's no need to review anything anymore. But thank you also for the excellent Znüni Express. Very good, large range, fair prices, reliable and a well-positioned seller who always puts a smile on your face.

Good day With a lot of email exchange, we finally ordered a cake according to our ideas and made arrangements over the phone to pick up the cake in the morning. But since the management of this bakery is not capable enough to forward an order, I can now explain to my 5-year-old son why he doesn't get the birthday cake he wanted. Thank you Mr. Küng and Mr. Tobler for this. It's definitely the last time I'll order something from this store. Thank you for this unexpected birthday present for my son.

Friendly service as always and delicious cakes in Stein am Rhein, but the coffee was very thin and weak. You would literally have to “kick it up a notch,” as we say at home.

I ordered the cake with a Batman picture on it for my husband. The sales people and the pastry chef said they can make it exactly like it was in the sample picture I picked out. I specifically emphasized that it was important to me. Unfortunately, the cake wasn't at all like the sample, but it was too late to do anything else. Plus it wasn't cheap either. We were disappointed. The taste was very good.

Unfortunately, the baked goods are not always fresh. For example Cornbread from the day before. Plastic wrap found in cake.

It's 2021. This bakery still sticks to wrapping everything in plastic. This is embarrassing and should not be supported. Why do you go to Beck? To get your products fresh, from the region and without unnecessary packaging. Sorry, but you can also buy your dessert in the supermarket and it costs half as much. Same game last week, an apricot crescent was packed in a plastic bag. Without asking. I will avoid this bakery and will not recommend it to anyone in Schaffhausen.

Top bakery!! We order cakes here every year and we have never been disappointed, uncomplicated processing, reliable and great quality and taste. Not to forget the baked goods!! Class!

This is an absolute gem of a place. I just placed an order for two cakes and 30 cupcakes back to back for two birthdays and they were fantastic. This place is worth every cent. Their communication can get a little better especially with large orders. Very friendly staff. They have a huge variety and the quality is top notch. Good selection of wraps and sandwiches for lunch. A few quirks - call ahead before you go for pick up. Make sure they remember if you have already paid to avoid double billing with multiple pick up persons. The quality of the cakes will make you forget any negative experiences. This has every potential to become a good landmark in town.

Good bakery, especially the chocolate pretzel is very good.

We buy a lot of cakes here, the quality, the taste is always good, but this time I received a cake for 3 people instead of 6 people, even though I asked, they told me the cake was for 6 people.. I got Fr. Paid 73.80... I don't really agree with that... I don't know if I'll order another cake...

Good sandwich but the egg ham wrap was inedible no taste very disappointing.

Everyone probably knows the difference between fresh Berliners and those that aren't anymore... it's better to make the latter cheaper, otherwise you'll lose the desire to try a "real" one again... the last ones from Lidl were fresh and therefore worlds better... for almost three times less cash

It finally has to be mentioned, your raspberry cake is just too good. When we get married this will be our wedding cake...

Friendly, courteous employees and great service! Especially with our regular orders METER BREAD (photo attached, 65.- and worth every centime) Everyone's eyes in the department always light up because they are extremely tasty, finely tuned and always flawless, as well as super freshly prepared! This also applies to the various sandwiches, especially the versions with emmer and chia spelled, which are filling and which you can eat without having a “bad athlete’s conscience” - THANK YOU, Zuckerbeck :)

Very friendly staff, the sandwiches are really tasty. I go here a lot to get my lunch. We also have more special sandwiches such as cheese sticks with cheese butter, pretzel rolls with tuna, etc. Something different and, above all, very tasty.

My favorite - butter lye stick :) The moment when you bite into the crispy stick and the butter melts in your tongue... Of course there are many other delicacies but my number 1 is the pretzel stick!

Yesterday I bought an Epiphany cake. Priced in the upper segment, the cake was very dry and "graty" like if the whole thing had been frozen and thawed again. It's a shame, I'm actually used to better quality from Ermatinger. Note: The king cake was eaten the same day, one hour after purchase.

My favorite bakery in Schaffhausen. They boast themselves the creators of the original Paillasse twisted bread. It doesn't matter, who was the first, their Paillasse is simply delicious. Aside from bread they also have a great assortment of Patisserie and fine chocolates, which they make themselves. During lunch hours they also serve salads.
