The restaurant is located in a very pleasant environment, quality price considering the city is very good. The waiter Sirio was very attentive, professional and friendly.

Everything great. Friendly, flexible menu. Obtain Rosti Natur...beautiful view from the terrace.

Good fondue by the river with cozy outdoor sitting

Honestly not great. Super expensive for the food you get, tagliatelle was dry and bland, rosti was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. The sauce had some flavour but other that that it was all quite poor. Tourist trap, would avoid.

Sitting on the Limmatquai and having hot food all the time, great. We love stopping at the guild house while taking a walk along the Limmatquai. Good food and attentive service. Very nice to sit outside and relax with a drink. There is a cheap lunch menu with salad or soup in front of it, as well as the normal menu.

Lovely and fancy restaurant. We had a table reserved on the first floor, and it was overlooking the river. The service was extraordinary, and everyone was very nice. Their beef steak is one of the best that I have ever tried. The meat was so tasty, juicy, and flavourful, and it melted in the mouth. It was my birthday and at the end of our meal they gifted me with a birthday dessert with a candle 🎂 I definitely recommend this restaurant. Wear something fancy ✨️

Toasted sandwiches with bacon and egg

Horrendous service. We were four people that wanted to enjoy a bottle of wine in the sun. We waited for a table and when we got it, only two chairs were free. We asked if we could have the waitors to help us with two unused chairs from other tables to which they said "no, because then I have to carry chairs around all day". For someone working in the service industry, that is a crazy answer. We chose to leave and the two people from our group who were already sitting at the table, left behind two empty rebull cans. As we were walking down the street, the same waiter comes running after us with the cans and calls us rude and states that they are not in the trash business. Clearly not in the service business as well. I will never spend a single franc to support such a place.

The food was rather mildly spiced, seasonal and hot, even though there were a lot of us. Unfortunately, the old, reconstructed hall is extremely loud. Unpleasant. No textile coverings. No carpet, no curtains, no sound-absorbing material under the tables or armchairs. So it was extremely loud (I don't wear hearing aids) and difficult to understand the "blackheads".

We visited it on New Year's Eve. Fondue was really tasty as well as the salad. Friendly staff and quick service. Very nice location across the river.

The service of the waitresses is good but the manager or owner was rude to several diners, especially foreigners or at least those who did not speak German.

Cozy and traditional. The food was very good and you can even get veal kidneys with/in your Zürcher Geschnetzelte (they definitely taste good). The service was very friendly. Card payment no problem. Apparently it's cheaper if you dine on the ground floor than in the actual restaurant on the first floor.

We sat outside, a big plus I give to the warm seats with fur skin and woolen blankets, they keep us very warm. We ordered fondue (for the first time in Switzerland) and a beer. The order was taken quickly and delivered too. For the fondue 🫕 they brought bread in a bag, baby potatoes in a bag and pickles, there was enough cheese for half of the snack, the rest was eaten dry, at the end they brought the bill as for a double fondue, although the portion was clearly not for two 😒 in principle, there are no complaints about the taste , but this was the first fondue, I didn’t have anything to compare it with yet, I’ll add if something changes 😃

It is understandable why the prices are set higher due to the location. However, you can at least offer filling portions.

They do not take without reservation

The waiter is very rude and being racist. My friends and I went there on Christmas day and we were looking forward to have a wonderful Christmas lunch together at the place. We arrived at there and I was standing in front of the restaurant to ask whether there’re tables available. And I actually saw that there were a few tables available. Instead of greeting us or inform us polite if the table were full, the waiter just waved his hand as if he wanted to get lost and said “No, no table”. My friends and I were still confused and we didn’t like the way he treated us. Meanwhile, there were an old couple coming after us and of course, they weren’t Asian. So, the same rude waiter came back and invited the couple to have a seat in the restaurant. This is unacceptable. I hope the place can educate the staff to be more respectful and have some basic manner.

were in the cooper's room. starter tartare good. Rösti and liver floating in butter. portion size just about ok. lemon sorbet, small and very sweet. service ok. Nothing special in terms of food and service. Nothing on the menu with just vegetables. You can eat fondue a discretion outside. Prices too expensive for what is on offer.

The worst experience ever, food got delayed. We ordered well done stake and we received medium well. When we complained about the delay the staff instead of apologizing they said this is normal and we can’t complain very unprofessional service

A wonderful location in the heart of Zürich with a typical Swiss Menu. Food is well prepared, but very standard recipes and...swiss ones, so....mah Avoid the dessert. Really Service was just not satisfying for the level that you'd expect from this place. Some waiters seem on their first day. Just go for the location.

Vivaldi's 4 Seasons was performed by the string quartet at the candlelight concert in the guild hall. Everything was done perfectly, the room was atmospherically lit with around 350 (LED) candles. The musicians also provide some background information about the composer and his music. I can't judge the food, it was a candlelight concert, not a C-dinner. In the photos the small stage of the event and the beautiful ceiling of the guild hall. Then the musicians came :-)

Was there for a concert..very nice atmosphere

Recommended this place and decided to try it out. I think you may have to make a reservation, we were lucky to be able to wait for a table. The veal and liver were phenomenal. Such a great dining experience with great service and intimate atmosphere. Dress nice. I have that saved, I’ll try to take mom and sister there tomorrow. We had Zurcher Geschnetzeltes vom kalbsfilet and calf’s liver. It was incredible.

A big thank you to Anes Kapic. With his attentive and charming manner, he ensured that we didn't forget our visit so quickly and that we would of course be happy to come back. Mr. Kapic is definitely in the right job, we wish that the staff in the restaurant were always so friendly and would ensure a good atmosphere.

Candlelight concert 🎶 is a great experience! This was amazing atmosphere 🤩 I did two concerts in a row and I had fantastic evening with my friends. The quartet musicians lead by maestra Irina made in unforgettable time! What I recommend is that you take the first row - it is pricy 💵but worth it.

The food and the view are great!

Is the food worth the price? not by a long shot however the restaurant does have really good decoration and the waiter that got us was super nice. he was clearly still learning (made noise putting away chairs, touched our bottles mid meal, turned off lights on non used tables in anticipation to closing, but he made up for it in good manners and overall happiness we tried every desert in the menu and had a really fun date i recommend the creme brulee and the chocolate cake with chantily the main courses are super average tasting so i can't really recommend one. we had the burger and the sausage.

The fondue was tasty, although we could not choose the cheese. Other dishes were OK. However, it has a great river bank view. Highly recommend on a sunny day ☀️

I think I lack the gastronomic taste to appreciate Swiss fondue. I enjoyed my experience here, but the view and ambiance is what the bill really pays for in my opinion. My prying eyes spied several delicious-looking dishes at adjacent tables, so I would definitely like to go back to try some other items, especially the chef recommendations. The service was adequate, slow for a weekday, but the restaurant was probably overly busy due to a party and perfect weather. The waitress was wonderfully kind and honest, recommending we add a side sausage to bathe in the cheese, which really improved my fondue experience. I keep finding myself making excuses for my critiques of this establishment, which means I would certainly recommend it.

Stopped for lunch, no problems getting seated and service was good. Enjoyed our food and drink which wasn't amazing but still nice. They had baby seats available also which we found a lot of places in Zurich center didn't offer.

Very disappointed. I was in this restaurant a few years ago, but not like it is today. Service: Certain employees were very rude. They called them, ignored us or promised they would come in a minute and their promise was broken. It can happen, but when you order bread you roll your eyes up and don't look at us properly; simply show the impression that you have no desire to fulfill the customers' wishes. Main course: we have about 1.5 hours. Finally the food was there: Rösti was barely fresh, bratwurst was too dry and the fried sauce was okay, so in conclusion; Food was generally okay but not worth it for the price. 1 star for the service + 4 stars for the beautiful surroundings the only positive thing about it. It was and will be the last time, a shame.

Tried fondue and it was very good. All typical drinks; we waited a bit to be seated but nothing too excessive.

Paid a fortune (I'm swiss). They did not serve what was on the menu (smaller, less ingredients). But the location is nice.

If I could I wouldn't even give it 1 star. I had the worst experience there. I've never been treated so badly. You had the feeling that you should be grateful to be able to eat there. The waitress who was on shift on the “left side” at around 7:00 p.m. on December 3rd should please look for a more suitable job. We left without ordering anything.

We had dinner there today. My companion had the burger with fries, which was very tasty. I had the bratwurst with hash browns. I liked the bratwurst with the sauce but the rösti was quite dry and tasted a bit bland. Otherwise ok

The beauty of this place is the location and the views! You can find different food suggestions - I went for something traditional! Very happy with the blend of flavours for the meals we ordered.

Very disappointing, drinks like Hugo and Aperolspritz always come in the wrong glasses. For 15.- you can expect the right glass. And it takes a lot of time to pay.
