Zurich Fried Chicken in Zürich

Went to Zurich for a week & had to try their best burgers! From the yellow theme to the super friendly staff to the vegetarian + non-vegetarian options, it was perfect! I highly recommend ZFC to anyone visiting! Can't wait to visit again when I'm in Zurich!

Absolutely delicious. Can't wait to be back in Zurich to order it again. Had the crispy chicken burger. The meat is beautifully cooked and crispy. What I also thought was really great is that the box of fries had a hole in the top so that the fries don't condense due to the heat and don't become soggy. Brilliant idea, I wish all kebab shops would follow this example! 🤩👌🏼

I didn't like this place. Was not clean. Food was just average. Fries were too much oily. Price doesn't match the quality of food they offer. Just to fill your empty stomach, nothing else.

I made an online order with delivery and it never arrived. They didn't let the client know and made us wait all day. I am going to report these scammers to Zurich authorities. Update after 10 months: The store has done nothing to fix it. In addition, they asked me to remove the review. Other stores, under normal conditions, would offer some discount or gift. They need to work more on their service. Update after 2 years: No action was taken by store to fix the issue. Now I am changing my rate from 1 star to 5 star so everyone can see it.

Alhamdulillah best crispy chicken burger and combos all is best ,today I was fasting for Ramadan month after all they offer me ifter it was so delicious as well , so mostly recommend this restaurant

Absolutely dissatisfied in every way. The delivery service ruined the whole evening for me and my guests. Thanks for that. After 2 hours there is still no food and the only thing the courier can say is sorry, no courier because I'm alone. If you can't manage to offer a service, then please don't offer it. Very easy.

A small halal fast food outlet in Zurich. The food met my son's tastebuds who validated its quality taste, considering that he has extremely high expectations on fried chicken. However, it can be pricey for fast food. But who cares, whats not in Zurich right?

The Halal food tastes good, especially the burger. However, the fries were soggy and it was hardly eatable. This fast food restaurant's menu cards can also benefit from a basic formality. The menu cards are lacking concise readability, as the images of meals and its names are not well enough alligned in one place with the prices. It is easy to be confused and have a parallax as a result from seeing prices either written underneath, above and to the left side of each meal. And what is more unfortunate, is that one of the worker there has a fixiated mindset attitude towards customer and is not fond of accepting a judgement or a constructive criticism. By merely viewing this restaurant's room, one also conclude that it is definitely not in a clean condition and has some sort of a rotten smell to it as well.

HALAL FOOD AVAILABLE HERE! well you can't compare it to KFC but overall for Halal food, its pretty decent. We ordered the chicken cheese zinger with spicy sauce and it was good. The burger size is extra big with lots of fries. A little bit pricey as it is costly CH 21.5 but I was tired of having a shawerma

I can't say enough about how fantastic my visit to Chicken Magic was! From the moment I entered the store, I felt enveloped by the warm atmosphere and the tempting smell of fresh fried chicken. The selection of chicken was impressive - from classic fried to innovatively seasoned, there was something for every taste. But not only that, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were more than willing to make recommendations and ensure that every customer found exactly what they were looking for. The quality of the food was beyond expectations. The tender, juicy meat and perfect seasoning almost made me forget that I was in a store and not a Michelin-starred restaurant. And as if that wasn't enough, the cleanliness and order in the store was exemplary. Everything was fresh, tidy and inviting. In short, Chicken Magic is a gem for all chicken lovers out there! With top-notch selection, friendly staff and delicious food, this place simply can't be beat. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious chicken.

Was actually in between to try the chicken at first due to some review but whatever try it anyway. Glad I tried bcs it was good!! The chicken is tendahh, well cooked and most important, the skin is crispy. The fries are fresh too (as in yknow it’s not the yesterday’s leftovers and they re-fry it). The place is pretty small but you can just takeout and eat it at your hotel/park/anywhere. I think their packaging helps to retain the heat bcs when we went back to our airbnb in Glattbrugg, it’s still warm and nice to eat.

Halal food in zurich.. Suitable for asian taste

The food is excellent, but broast without potatoes, five pieces for 15 francs. The chairs are very high. They do not serve ketchup or garlic. Rather, they give you a choice between them. You choose only one. This stinginess alienates me from these restaurants.

You shouldn't be put off by the first impression, the branch is very small and the furnishings are a bit older. But it was very clean for a Saturday evening and the staff was friendly and accommodating. My chicken burger looked a lot better and bigger than in the pictures on the menu. This is the opposite from other fast food shops. The taste was great too! Gladly again 😃

Everything is delicious... chicken, potatoes, nuggets etc... lots of other menus and HALAL... prepare your own chili sauce.

Very good!!! From America and fried food back home usually coats your mouth in grease halfway through but this place is good and doesn't do that. Would definitely recommend for a fast and great meal:) the guy working was very friendly!

Fabulously crispy but a bit expensive. We came for a light bite after a long flight from London and it was well worth the 10 minute walk from our hotel. We ordered the 4pc tenders and the 6pc nuggets and onion rings. The chicken was juicy and amazingly crispy, superb with a light southern fried spice. Would definitely come again. Only down side is that it is quite expensive, we paid 31CHF for somethjng that was a snack and that's without drinks.

I wish Houston had halal fried chicken restaurants like this! Funny how with Houston's population we still don't have a fried chicken place as good as ZFC. The chicken and beef burgers were both wonderful. Fries were not the best but went well with the burgers. I'd also pass the chicken nuggets which we're a little on the dry side. Up the chilli a little if you are in the mood! There isn't much place to sit. You may have difficulty finding a table/counter chair if going with a large party at a busy time. #halal

One of the juiciest and most delicious chicken meals we have had in Switzerland. The street is bustling, with many expensive restaurants, yet ZFC is affordable (for Zurich prices) and fulfilling! The gentleman running the shop when we were there there is wonderful!

If you are an American trying to get some American food, specifically KFC style or Southern fried chicken, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. It is nothing like KFC or Fried Chicken back in the U.S. The chicken lacks a lot of seasoning. It was so bad I couldn’t even finish it. The only reason why I did not give this place one star because we are in Switzerland, and I understand to a default that they don’t know what real fried chicken taste like, but as an American and Zurich being an international destination, I am deeply offended by the representation of a knock off American style restaurant.

Best chicker burger I’ve ever had!!

I ordered 2 hours ago. Eating wasn't there yet when I called I said the person was on the way, no excuse, nothing. Of course I got angry after that it was said that the car had engine failure and the boss couldn't be spoken to and he wasn't in the shop. Afterwards the phone was rudely snatched away from me. Not recommended and not at all customer friendly.

The food didn’t feel as fresh, maybe half fried previously and then upon us showing up fried completely. We wanted one 1.5L coke diet but they didn’t have it, so I requested if I could be given one Diet Coke in addition to the regular coke or be made up for giving 3 x 500ml Diet Coke as they didn’t have Diet Coke in 1.5L, the first person was accommodating and reasonable but the person there came while the first person was considering request, he then explained to (apparently) his boss, boss said do not give anything more. Felt a bit rude because I am their country fellow, had I been European or Caucasian they would have surely not stopped. Food portion was also less as far chicken is concerned, image shows big bucket like KFC but upon receiving order in tray, I think it won’t even fill up the half of the bucket.

Excellent Food, rightly priced. Chicken Batter was flavorful and nice crispy done. Meat was indeed tender and flavoring was deep inside the meat. Highly recommend for food. Great little place serving amazing fried chicken. The owner was working alone but managed to keep things going at a smooth pace. The zinger burger was the traditional Pakistani zinger burger taste.

ZFC is hands down the best halal food in Zurich. You won’t find food that is made fast and tastes this good anywhere else. The fried chicken is hot and crispy, would highly recommend. Akbar the owner is great to talk to. All around 5 star

We randomly came across ZFC on JustEat and decided to give it a try. Best decision ever. The delivery was fast, even though we are located outside Zürich. The food itself was still hot when it arrived. Extremely juicy and well-seasoned chicken. We especially liked the fact that it was not too salty, but still delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely order again.

The shop is inside Sekak, not on the street. The workers are of Pakistani nationality. I asked him about the chicken, if it is halal. He said yes, he is a Muslim, and he is the one who slaughters, cuts, and prepares it. I was reassured and he took us and tried it. The taste is good and the price is reasonable.. but if he cares about the tables and chairs that you put outside the chairs are high and dangerous. For the children, I wish you could replace them with comfortable chairs and short tables, and replace the serving method with a glass plate instead of a basket, which would be cleaner for the customers🙂

The location is in the ancient city of Zurich. Halal food. It tastes no less than Mc Dee. The portions are large for Indonesians.

very bad. Ordered from his home with my colleague. Fries light and cold. Is that a salad? This is mayo‼️ After eating we both had extreme stomach pains. The delivery person doesn't even have change, i.e. a wallet. I will never order again, a huge shame.

Given no halal KFC or fried chicken shop around in Zurich they are highly priced for a burger meal or fried chicken meal over 20chf (£20) a processed frozen beef cheese burger alone at 15.90chf (£15) and to top off the charge for mayo 🤨, makes me wonder if there is any trading standards authority here.

Walked in as we were unsure if the food was A halal and B if any chicken was left as the hot hold was empty at 11pm. Asked the guy behind the counter who immediately seemed to be annoyed as another one of our friends was asking how the meals work and prices. He was extremely rude. To the point I don’t think I’ve come across anyone ruder in a chicken shop. We went on to order as beggars can’t be choosers this time of night in Zurich for Halal food. Spent 116CHF and went on to sit down. Grabbed some ketchup and Mayo from The fridge for the guy behind the counter to shout ‘That also costs money’. We weren’t short of money but the manner in which he had asked was incredible. I was flabbergasted, he’s demeanour was completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated by anyone. Your customer pays your wages, when visiting from another country they’re lucky we walked in given there weren’t any chicken in the hot hold. Almost looked like there were other ‘services’ being run out of this chicken shop in Zurich. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. WHETHER FROM ZURICH OR NOT. ID RATHER STARVE A WEEK THAN COME BACK HERE! GO AND FIND A BETTER CHICKEN SHOP WHO ARENT CHARGING YOU FOR A 10kg BOX OF CHICKEN WINGS FOR YOUR MEAL!!!!! DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.

A good little stop. Small location, but it works. Friendly and fast service. My chicken burger was good, the fries are frozen and fried but tasted ok (good salt), and the "crispy's" were good too. The only star I took away was for overall cleanliness. The baskets were immediately reused without being wiped down. Only one guy working so maybe he was just in a rush. There is clean paper between the basket and food but overall they are a little dirty. I would come back, though!
