We rode aboard the Albis (one of the boats of the Schifffahrtagesellschaft fleet) via an all-inclusive Viking river cruise tour to see Lake Zurich, and while the view was lovely, the service was sleazy. The waiter had come around offering Glüwhein and hot chocolate to guests as if they were free and a part of the Viking package, but never specified that they would charge and bill you after serving you the beverages. They also didn’t even provide a price for the hot chocolate and there wasn’t a menu for beverages but only for meals. Additionally, there were not enough seats for all of the guests aboard. While this is an issue with Viking River cruises as well, part of the blame does fall on the crew of the Albis for pretending that the beverages were free during the tour because all of the guests assumed they would be free, so it seemed like they were taking advantage of their customers in that sense.
