We stayed here for one night while hiking via Alpina. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, but the price of the stay is overpriced considering you are in a dormitory above the cows. Along with the smell and noise.
The food provided for dinner and breakfast was the same cheese (with potatoes for dinner and with bread for breakfast). Again, no one expects fancy meals in the chalet high up the mountain but for the price much more could have been done.
Had excellent Momo's and Schata lovingly prepared and served, nourishing on all levels!

Heidi’s homemade ready-made fondue from SPAR is unworthy of a Swiss cheese company. We were happy, but it was a huge disappointment. Take this product off the market, it will only make your company look bad.
Ueli der Beck is one of the best bakeries around. Large selection, very fine croissants (it happened a few times that we unfortunately received some that were not fresh on Sunday morning and were already hard)
Otherwise actually very good, I can also recommend the Berliner as well as the bread.
The bistro is cozy but you have to come early as it is very busy.
Our first port of call for braids on Saturday mornings. The plait always tastes very good and the opening times are such that we can go shopping with the children before an early breakfast.
