Previously, for decades, it was a wooden temple. It's located right across the street from where I live and yet I've never been inside. Looking at the photos and the reviews I am sure that it is certainly much better than the Tea-room which is right next door. and which has been drowning in false favorable opinions since I wrote an unfavorable comment during the Covid period because it was absolutely not supportive. Yet the place gives me the impression of being closed off, withdrawn into itself. The exterior is extremely sober, 2 tables max outside, and only if the weather is nice, the glazing is almost opaque making it impossible to see at all if there are people there, among others, and especially not of external menu to look at the dishes offered and no slate boards where the dish of the day could be written, and other little things like the price of coffee with croissant, orange juice, ... in short the ABC of the profession of hotel. Nothing encourages me to enter there since nothing encourages me to enter there. The place absolutely does not give the illusion of being a café restaurant. For fun I'm giving three stars because despite everything, it seems clean to me... but too cold. Accessible to people with disabilities ♿️

Great cheese bar, beautiful decoration, very reasonable price for Geneva. The wine offered was delicious. Unfortunately it is not very well placed so not many people seem to go there. But I highly recommend it whether it's for a date, with a friend or just eating cheese. We had the baked cheese of the moment and the Swiss board which contains cheese and truffle sausage.

I put this note reluctantly. Rakie is adorable, accommodating and great! But we had several problems at our wedding which mean that I cannot give a better rating. We ordered a revisited lemon tart, that is to say a lemon mousse with a flat base that looked like a wedding cake. We had classic lemon tarts. It was humiliating to discover this in front of my guests. Proposing a pie at a wedding is anything but elegant. Besides, we didn't have a tasting of the cakes because I trusted them. We decided to provide the drinks ourselves for financial reasons, and sparkling water was not offered to the guests because apparently they could not find them in the kitchen. We had asked for 3 kinds of macarons, and the EVE OF the wedding they called me to tell me that the foie gras one could not be served because they couldn't find any at this time of year. However, when we propose something we make sure we can do it. I accepted and was offered to use all the other types of macaroons instead. I figured that would do the trick. Except that on the day, we only had 2 types instead of 5. So it was an empty promise. I had also prepared papers to explain the seating plan and many other instructions. The papers were in plain sight and had not been read. So our seating plan was not respected at all and 10 minutes before the guests arrived I had to ask that certain tables be changed, which was done. However, one person from the team must have not noticed that the groom was nearby and said that “it was irritating him to change everything.” At the price of the service, it’s still incredible. The same for the drinks I asked to put syrup and water in the dispensers and as my papers were not read, they put the lemonade which should be on the tables. I asked to change, which was done but instead of bottles we had the lemonades in carafes which were not at all practical. Also the drinks were not cold because they were not refrigerated. However, I was told that someone would be responsible for putting them in the fridge. In addition, I received feedback from my guests recently and it turns out that Nawel was sometimes very unpleasant, especially when the guests wanted more. 5 of my guests didn't come so logically there must have been more than enough for some people to get more. In any case, that’s what I was told when we discussed quantities. I was told that it was more than enough and that often there are even leftovers. I have no proof, but as for the macarons I have seen some trays leave almost full. And at the end when we wanted to collect the leftovers there were none left... I don't know if the staff helped themselves and I will never know. All I know is that my sister, when she went to the bathroom, saw someone in the kitchen eating a glass. So I still have doubts. We pay for a meal for us and our guests and not for the staff. We agreed that we would collect what was left to eat with our family the next day. As for the quality of the food I have nothing to complain about, it was excellent! Except for the kebbe which is a Lebanese/Syrian specialty, which was not at all what I had asked for… For all these mistakes and stress caused before and during the wedding, Newel gave us a pass on the final price but still made us pay half price for the lemon pie. Which I find incredible because it was not at all what we had asked for. Paying for a pie instead of an elaborate cake and having this embarrassment in front of the guests really frustrated me. I felt like we weren't an expensive enough wedding to deserve the top. In short, thank you for the quality of the dishes and thank you to Rakie who was adorable and who tried to make things right.

Very nice establishment! The staff is very friendly and professional. The baked potato, marinated and pan-fried chicken fillet is delicious and appetizing 😍🤩 Fast and impeccable service 👌🫰🏻 whose performance was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend Patate Groumande without hesitation.

Great drinks, and even better company. Bar tender spoke English and the locals were very friendly. Plenty of good cocktails to choose from. A little pricey but that's just how Geneva is. The bartender gave us 2 free shots which was very lovely of him. Would recommend!
