Dear friends, I hope you're all doing well. I would like to tell you briefly about my birthday weekend, which took some unexpected turns. We had originally planned to celebrate my 20th birthday together in Chur, and I came all the way from Lucerne to be with you. Unfortunately, the unpleasant weather put a damper on our plans and we found ourselves in an unexpected situation. Since none of us had a suitable place to stay and it was too cold and wet outside, the three of us spontaneously decided to stay in a hotel for a short time. On the way there we were approached by a woman with wide eyes and an unfriendly look, which startled us quite a bit. We were aware that our appearance, like my tattoos, could potentially lead to false assumptions, but we were still surprised by their reaction. We wondered why she reacted so unkindly and wished she had treated us differently. Fortunately, the evening at the hotel was more pleasant than expected. I went to sleep at midnight and was surprised the next morning by the same woman, but this time she seemed very friendly. It was an interesting experience how our perception of people can change within a short period of time. Another bright spot was the man at reception who was extremely friendly and full of positive energy. His friendliness definitely helped make our stay pleasant. Overall, my birthday weekend was a nice experience despite some unexpected encounters. I'm grateful to have been able to spend time with you and look forward to more adventures with you. The new tenants are great. I had dinner there with my wife. I love deer pepper and am therefore rather demanding. The pepper with LOCAL DEER was delicious and a very large portion. The price was very fair. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We are excited! We'll be back soon!

Jamies was a great experience to me from A to Z. I was on a solo dinner, Armon, the server was very social and welcoming. He suggested tailored dishes to me, which were delicious. Main course, the local “capuns” was stunning both as taste and presentation. The details revealed the hand of a creative and experienced chef. The cream on my nut cake, for example, was from a true cream machine and not from a vulgar spray bottle as many tend to serve nowadays. The ambience was trendy, multicultural and pleasant in its minimalism. The street close by didn’t bother me particularly, being on the terrace. I’ll definitely go again.

The High 5 in Chur would be great, the service is great as are the rooms. Unfortunately, the music is turned up so loudly that it spills over or everything vibrates from the bass. The actually good music is no longer worth anything. Otherwise I would give it a complete 5 stars
