Related to eating fondue à la discretion. Tent wall is left open all the time (cold gets in) unfriendly. Eternal waiting time (minimum 1 hour waiting time). Organization leaves a lot to be desired. Customers are not served in turn, they are constantly served at the same tables while others wait forever

After a short walk from Hotel Bürgenstock, a quick ascent with the Hammetschwand lift, and the beautiful panorama lies in front of us. Here you can relax on the terrace and enjoy the sauces.

Bakery with cafe. We always buy the award-winning Grabenbrot, our favorite bread, here. We are from Germany, but we always stop here when we are in the area. Very good service, very helpful staff. Top 👍👍👍

We stopped by to have lunch at the restaurant on our way to Lugano, and we really enjoyed the food. We ordered the parmigiana di melanzane, tagliatelle alla norma and the lasagna. The parmigiana was perfectly cooked, and was very flavorful. Both the lasagna and the pasta were good but nothing extraordinary, so I would definitely recommend getting the parmigiana. They have very decent prices, except for bottled water, which was 10CHF… Great ambiance, with stunning views of the lake, and friendly service. Overall, I would recommend it 👌🏻

Perfect interim solution for our living situation after a long journey. Well furnished studio with a beautiful view of Lake Lucerne. We enjoyed it very much.

I've had the annual subscription for 20 years now and this year I was able to redeem the voucher for the Trübsee restaurant. My intuition was confirmed as I haven't eaten there in recent years. The quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired: French fries over-salted, squeaky, stale and kept warm - the bottom is soggy. The staff at the checkout and at the clearing station were friendly and accommodating. Nevertheless, I recommend that everyone in the Engelberg ski area use a different gastranomic.

Good service at the checkout! Avoid the dry rice...
