The only thing that's open here on New Year's Eve is at 1 p.m. That's why I give this a 5, the others get a 1. The service and the ambience are great.

Bar has a very cool atmosphere inside, not your standard Berghütte. Gulasch was very nice and addition of these slightly grilled bread pieces was a super nice touch.

Cool little shop with a café. You can either eat your groceries on site or order something. The various “Brettli” are made with local products from the store.

The chocolate Easter bunnies are impressive. A great range all year round too. The ice creams are the best

Best kebab in Obwalden! All the other dishes are also super delicious, especially the pizza! Super friendly service, fair prices, just cool that you exist!

I really enjoyed the food. The burger was very tasty and value for money was right for me. The dessert was also good (Mövenpick ice cream). The ambience was quite pleasant and based on the Austrian style, but unfortunately the bench wasn't really comfortable. There were pillows, but not enough for everyone. The service was also friendly and it was a nice evening. There is also a photo wall (but the lighting conditions are not suitable for it).

Super fine food, very nice service and a cozy atmosphere. No matter whether it's lunch, dinner or coffee, there is always something delicious for the palate.

Food is fantastic and even better with the amazing service of Livia. What a huge difference to be served with care, professionality and a smile on top.

The staff is great, the kitchen is wonderful, and the renovated rooms are gorgeous!! We always enjoy coming back!!

Good home-style restaurant worth visiting

A taste explosion. Finally a restaurant where you don't just season with salt and pepper. Just the food in the hosts' living room? It's something special 😁

Was there 5-6 years ago. Then everything was ok. Historic hotel. Idyllically located and we had the opportunity to be woken up by a mountain departure at 5:30 in the morning. It was great to see the many cows that were driven through the village by the alpine farmers. Real country life still. But unfortunately the hotel was bought by Chinese. It's probably not the same anymore and even though I'm in the area, I don't trust the quality there anymore.
