Was there 5-6 years ago. Then everything was ok. Historic hotel. Idyllically located and we had the opportunity to be woken up by a mountain departure at 5:30 in the morning. It was great to see the many cows that were driven through the village by the alpine farmers. Real country life still. But unfortunately the hotel was bought by Chinese. It's probably not the same anymore and even though I'm in the area, I don't trust the quality there anymore.

Here, almost everything revolves around cheese, whether as fondue (with bread and potatoes) or as cordon bleu (with French fries and vegetables). The service is very friendly and helpful.

It's a very cozy place. I can only recommend.

Walked from the Hinterarnialp here to the Lushütte. There is a fantastic panoramic view here and along the entire route. We had the Lushütten Rösti: crispy and very tasty. A beautiful place. You can also continue to the bowl.

Very good Italian restaurant with pizza and pasta, meat and fish. The portions are quite large, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and quick. The restaurant is child-friendly; If you want to enjoy an evening without children, you can reserve a table in Lago Vista, a separate, quiet area with panoramic views.

Sells cold (!) chickens in the middle of the afternoon, which are simply turned around in the cart "for decoration". Apparently they weren't sold at midday. Unfortunately, this is kept secret during the sale, which is why the big disappointment about the cold chickens only comes when you get home! Exactly what I experienced with the same griller in Horw!

Eating moderately on the ski slopes. Fills you up but no more. Price too high - Baileys coffee was almost cold

Price-performance rather weak. We were the only guests. The heating was gurgling and there was movement in the walls at night (mice). Not even a coat hook. Furnishings from the 70s (?). Pretty exorbitant price. A real “flophouse” that thrives on its proximity to the gondola.
