Very good food and pleasant staff

Very good food and decent portions, however we found it expensive paying for 1 chicken for 2 with fries at 40.- But other than that the taste is great.

The Brasserie des Cerniers is a magnificent place, tastefully renovated. On the other hand, the kitchen is by far not up to the standard. We were a group of 7 at lunchtime, and we were looking forward to eating simple but tasty dishes after a walk. The forest crusts are a disaster, thick and dry bread, sprinkled with cheese and a few mushrooms, dry, no sauce. A few grams of cheese and mushrooms, and a salad served directly on the serving platter, that's very little for a lot of money. The fondue was served, with pieces of cheese not melted: we had to return it to the kitchen to finish its preparation, without any apology. Too bad the cook is so incompetent We won't be asked to eat there again

Magnificent view from our pod and terrace, the stove and the decor provide a cozy atmosphere, I can't wait to come back! Little attention for the dog who always pleases. Very good breakfast and meals. Just one of the evening meal servers who was less pleasant than the others (a little dry and looking down on us even though we ourselves work in the luxury sector) but that does not deserve a star less for the hotel: ) We will come back, that’s for sure! The place to be for an aperitif in Monthey!

This is the worst thing I have encountered in my life! The taste is unmanageable. I love durume kebab, but in Monthey, it was my bad experience, unfortunately. And be careful: you have to pay in cash, the other day they charged me twice for a single kebab with my credit card! People are really dishonest!
