Unfortunately, we became ill on the Wednesday before our arrival on Sunday and wanted to cancel our stay or postpone it in exchange for a voucher. We were told that this would only be possible 10 days before arrival or with travel insurance against a doctor's note. So we started our stay sick anyway. The Hotel Zurbriggen was not clean, many things, such as the floor glass in the hallway, were slightly broken. The light does not work everywhere. It had broken light bulbs that hadn't been replaced, etc. The whirlpool wall was yellowish dirty. The spa area is rather sparse and not everything was accessible as described on the website. 2 whirlpools were completely closed. The massages we booked were quite okay. Anyone who is used to luxury and 5 star hotels will not be happy in this hotel. The food was good, although the buffet is rather sparse. The breakfast, however, was very good. I would like to give the hotel a better rating, but unfortunately that is not possible. The staff is nice, unfortunately the waiters didn't serve you very well, but rather very curtly and you didn't feel completely comfortable or taken very seriously. You had to pay 8 CHF per jug ​​for water for dinner, not that it was branded water, but rather jugs that were specially filled. This is a rip off! Using the spa area after checking out costs 25 CHF per person, but I've paid less or nothing in better hotels.

Majestic view, very reasonable price, warm welcome

Great friendly place for walks, skiing and good food. Will definitely go again. There is also a fantastic family hidden restaurant, just a forest walk from this hotel to SaasFee.

Eu e meu marido Jantamos no restaurante do hotel Portjengrat. Local muito acolhedor e ótimo atendimento! Pedimos uma sopa de cebola de entrada e como pratos principais pedimos uma porção de raclete pra cada um, fondue de queijo e um prato com uma seleção de frios e queijo. Espetacular, recomendo. Claro regado a um bom vinho da região de Valais.
