Long waiting time to order, then the waitress comes and takes the order in a bored, unfriendly manner. The plate with the Croque Monsieur is carelessly garnished with an old little cornichon. After a long wait to pay, you make a grimace that signals that you're back to work, even though I'm the only guest at 12 p.m. That says it all about this bistro. Then at the end there is a macabre remark when you criticize the performance of the service. The city of Sion doesn’t deserve that! Such service personnel belong behind the counter.

I went to the café yesterday and I was delighted to see the faces I recognized from the Le Temps de Vivre restaurant near Chamoson! (One of my favorite restaurants). What a great initiative for the Chateau cafe. You can come and drink a good coffee and eat a Valais plate without hesitation. I am impatiently awaiting the opening of the refreshment bar on the square between the two castles. Good luck to the whole team and see you soon!
