21.03.2024 16:15 arrived to enjoy a lovely drink outside enjoying the sunshine, a couple of the staff members advised no food because the entire inside restaurant was booked out, but were getting nervous because no one had turned up, but they were fine for us to join others drinking outside then the head chef comes out shouting “NO WE’RE CLOSED, GO AWAY!” despite other customers present. Honestly a rude man that needs to go for some customer skills training.

We came here several times already and whilst the decor is nice we were never truly impressed by the service. But this time around it's been absolutely disastrous. We waited a full 80 minutes to get the fondue we had ordered, without any starter or anything to keep us waiting. How hard is it to warm up 400g of cheese when the room is half empty and all other tables have been served? Completely chaotic organisation and barely any excuse. We'll never visit again. Thank you Fondue Chalet for spoiling a birthday night!
