Would be a great place when the weather is nice. I would give 5 stars. Stars are deducted because the city of Zurich has not been able to finally upgrade this place accordingly for years. Unfortunately the prices are way too high and the opening times are poor. The service is friendly but constantly stressful. It is self-service so there is a deduction for service. I understand that it has to be profitable, but what is the city of Zurich wasting billions of taxpayers' money on? To renovate streets and parking lots and to make visually unnecessary improvements and construction sites everywhere and to create such eyesores and glass-concrete deserts and ugliness like a Europaallee out of the ground. They can do that, the money is buttered into it, but subsidies to set up a decent, cozy coffee shop on Stadelhoferplatz that is open at least until 11 p.m. in the summer, no, this city government can't do that, it has a sense of luxury, money, Greed and endless construction sites, construction sites until you go crazy, but none for comfort and quality of life. And something like this city wants to have the second highest quality of life in the world? Really? Hard to believe.
I was really looking forward to a coffee in the morning, unfortunately my cappuccino was only milk.
When I explained this to the gentleman at the counter, he just said it was automatic and couldn't help me.
I would have liked a little more understanding because I had milk in the cup and you could see that there was almost no coffee in it.
My last visit to the gas station was disappointing. Even though I was wearing my motorcycle helmet, which has never been a problem, I was called 'illegal' and 'criminal' by the usually friendly Asian cashier, which made me very angry. I regret and apologize for my behavior upon leaving when I gave the middle finger. Despite my disappointment, I am giving 5 stars as a token of apology and appreciation for the Asian cashier who works hard and may not always be happy under difficult conditions. However, I will avoid this gas station in the future.
Stumbled into this bar last night, which looked nice from the outside. We were not greeted very friendly and it seemed as though they didn’t want us there. The menu was very short with no cocktails, only champagne and liquor. We both ordered on double vodka soda and the waitress only came around once despite us being there for over an hour. The place overcharges a ridiculous amount. 34 francs for a double vodka soda.....with not so great service. The ambiance wasn’t good either....definitely would not recommend
If you want to get to know the people in the area, this is Local #1. Cimbali coffee and everything a kiosk needs and vintage clothing. Great team, smiling is free. I'd love to come back.
I am so grateful for this organic shop in the center of Witikon. What I really appreciate is the calm and friendly atmosphere in the beautifully designed store, the great range of products with selected meat from the Ueli farm and regional vegetables. Fresh fruit and vegetables that not only look good, but also taste good. Only the bistro offering could be a little more varied. In winter, the seating available in the store is significantly limited, especially since very fine coffee is served here.
Conclusion: My motivation for a visit to the Witikon center with further potential.
Absolutely delicious Japanese food and the ingredients feel very fresh. Somewhat pricy but well worth the price. Also appreciated the generous portion.
