If the restaurant was really as bad as it is described in the reviews, there wouldn't be so many customers at Adams Döner every time and especially on the weekends... I don't know what their expectations are? The staff is friendly and works hard. The doner kebab is prepared fresh daily from 100% Angus beef and contains no flavor enhancers, breadcrumbs, yeast extract or similar additives. It is high quality meat that differs from inferior products. The restaurant is also visually appealing and offers a pleasant atmosphere. The Smashed Burger is juicy and has a typical American taste. I think the new concept is very successful and I see with every visit that they are constantly developing and improving. That's why I like to visit her again and again. This evening I was passing through and had heard a lot about Adam's Döner. So I decided to make a stopover. I arrived at the restaurant around 6:50 p.m. and saw a huge line in front of me. However, since I was hungry, I decided not to leave as the parking garage was in the basement and the restaurant was on the 2nd floor, which was too far away. I had to wait in line for almost 25 minutes before I could order at 7:14 p.m. The food didn't come until 8:20pm! I had to wait over an hour for my food (over 1.5 hours total including waiting in line). I find that unacceptable. Even though there were many employees behind the counter and working hard, a customer shouldn't have to wait that long in a diner. There are well-known competitors in the city where even more people queued but were served quicker and received their food quicker. The food was good, but unfortunately there are much better kebabs in the area. I strongly recommend that the restaurant implement a better concept with improved service, preparation and quality of the kebab. I finally left the restaurant disappointed.

The kebab is one of the best in Switzerland. The meat is worlds better than anything else Zurich has to offer. The sauces are delicious and the bread is freshly baked. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

I made a reservation for iftar via Instagram but I said he wasn't happy because he didn't know what I had ordered and he recommended Iskender to me that's true, it's not good, it's best to have bags of bread or a citizen to make it good otherwise it's too weak, sorry, the bill is true and funny too Redbull miscalculated me. I wanted cans of cola and warm water for an iftar menu for 38 chf. That's cheap and shabby. Anyone who would ask me if it was recommended would say no. It was my first time there so much, there was so much chatter, little was served, kebab and hambruger, kebab okay, very small and the meat, well, as if it had been there on the spit for 3 weeks. Hamburger when I got it looked like the fourth one in the package was disgusting, sorry. 40.- never lost there again. The staff didn't look particularly trained either.

The store is pretty overrated. Underground ambience, what decoration is that! Was this once a canteen or a food court? We ordered 2 kebabs with Black Angus, extra meat and fries for 50.- and had to clear them up myself like at McDonald's. Fries were good. The kebab is completely overpriced, poorly topped and, in my opinion, not worth 13.-. Black Angus beef? maybe 10% of it if that. Gastronomic performance insufficient in my opinion. Service seems bored and not particularly motivated. Something is wrong here. Bro, the competition is worlds better - Steve's Tik Tok video doesn't help either ;-)

I came to the Iftar with my heavily pregnant wife and my little daughter, who is very active. The employees there quickly recognized this and, because of our circumstances, we were looked after like “ala cart” restaurant guests. Furthermore, the Ramadan supplements and the food were very tasty. Thank you to the staff and keep it up.

Unfortunately, the worst kebab I've ever eaten :( my friend and I couldn't finish our kebab because the meat smelled so disgustingly like sheep because it wasn't seasoned enough and fried too little...also some tendons and half raw, which I've never had in a kebab before. Really really bad meat. Atmosphere is also really really bad...reminds me of a factory canteen without any charm and style...really absolute disappointment and never again. Too bad

I recently went to Adams Döner and can't understand the negative reviews at all. Here the meat is freshly cut for each customer, which is really rare in Switzerland. I think it's great that the skewer is homemade. I've been following Adam's kebab since it opened and am happy to see how the offering has continued to improve. Clear recommendation from me!

By far the finest kebab in Switzerland. For everyone who doesn't know: You eat kebab without sauce! Most shops use sauce in kebabs because it masks the poor quality of the meat. At Adams Döner there is original layered meat like in Turkey, so there is no need for sauce. Many who leave a bad review complain, but order their kebab with sauce 🙃 And for those who find it “too expensive”: Go to a burger shop, order a menu including a drink and see how much you pay. The prices are absolutely justified for this quality! Many people have a prejudice against kebab and see it as run-of-the-mill cheap food. Adams kebab sets a new standard and tries to bring the kebab to its well-deserved level!

Adam's kebab has deteriorated significantly in terms of quality. The meat was tasteless and of poor quality, which detracted from the entire kebab experience. Food itself was okay. Amount of meat but at a minimum for the price of CHF 18.-. You get 50 grams of meat or so in there and everything is weighed out. With extra meat the menu costs CHF25. Then I'd rather go to another kebab, after which I'll be full. You leave here with a half-empty stomach. More salad and bread than meat. A pity

Fries were good, kebab was ice cold, meat was quite tough, tasted ok. Service so medium friendly. Kitchen staff look at you askance while you eat and decide who looks away first (I win). However, afterwards I struggled to really enjoy my kebab, which wasn't really that good anyway, because I was more in a fighting mood. However, the ambience is very nice and you sit comfortably. Unfortunately, a lot of potential is wasted here!

A real surprise, the Smash Burger is simply phenomenal and absolutely recommended. The durum kebab is also very good, it's a shame it was a bit cold otherwise it would be the absolute best kebab. The meat quality is outstanding.

We ordered food to take away, 2 menus, of which we unfortunately only received 1 menu, 1 dürrüm and a pommes haven were completely missing. That means we unfortunately paid 50 CHF for 1 menu.

By far one of the hottest and most tasty kebabs I have eaten! Boss really personable! Always happy to come back.

I can't believe I could eat real Döner after many years living in Switzerland. It was delicious (maybe a bit salty than needed) and much better than the fake Döner they sell everywhere. I recommend eating Dürüm Döner with salad, tomatoes and onions and no sauce (with a real Döner you don't really need a sauce). I would be visiting again...

Last weekend I took time to try this place. I heard a lot of it but could not imagine what it was like. First of all I have to clarify that this is not a classic Turkish take away place as we know from hundreds of other places. Even though you have to pick up your dish from the counter you have proper tables and comfortable chairs to sit and dine. The interior is very spacious and you do not smell the usual döner kebab, it's more a smell of grilled meat. The major difference between this place and other döner kebab locations is that here you get angus meat. Since this place is quite new they are still improving but I can imagine them being very successful with their concept.

In my opinion the worst kebab I have eaten in Zurich. Cold. Yogurt tub full of dill. Vegetables were good, but meat was very unseasoned and neutral, not recommended. Didn't eat more than half of the kebab.

Unfortunately disappointed with Adam's Döner due to several points: - The meat is good, but without ordering extra meat, you don't get much out of it. Fries are okay, the rest of the kebab is rather bland - Prices are rather high and the portion of fries is puny - The restaurant has a smoking area that employees use to smoke before going back to the kitchen. They just leave the door open so you can smell the smoke while you eat. Great. Bare 3*** - Not necessarily recommended!

Had dinner with a colleague today. You are literally forced to take a menu because the normal one has too little meat and was not seasoned. Angus meat or not is not really special. Absolutely the worst kebab I have eaten in Switzerland. My husband and I waited 15 minutes for 2 kebabs. (the store was half empty) The employee first got my order wrong. Meat is ok, the pocket bread tastes like frozen bread from Lidl. As you can see in the picture the kebab is almost empty. As you can see in the picture there was almost no meat. Price CHF 19.90 for 1 kebab, 1xsmall portion of Pommer and 1 drink of choice is far too much for what it is. Not worth the hype!!!

It was one of the most beautiful places I spent time during my three-day trip to Switzerland. The place is beautifully decorated and creates an authentic atmosphere. With expertly prepared döner kebab with handmade halal meat It is a place where I had a great time with its friendly staff that best represents Turkey's famous döner kebab and offers the taste we are looking for. I definitely recommend Switzerland and everyone who comes to Switzerland to come here. Hoping to taste that flavor again.

Bread is world class... too little meat and not for the first time!! You won't become poor if you put 20g more meat in it.
