Nice rustic restaurant on the city limits. The parking situation is special. Be careful when parking in city parking lots

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a homely atmosphere. But you have to be aware that this is an excursion restaurant and in no way a dining restaurant. If you charge 45CHF for a large portion of Züri Geschnetzeltes, you should expect the sauce to be a creamy cream sauce rather than a watery finished product. You could also make the rösti freshly prepared. Even if finished products are used. However, I don't think a dried out rösti that has probably been in the hot air oven to warm up for 1-2 hours is ideal, especially when you're asking for a relatively high price. There is clearly still room for improvement in the kitchen.

I made an online reservation for the sunday brunch at their website and got a confirmation. When I arrived there for the brunch apparently there was no reservation and the brunch was fully booked. They told me the brunch cannot be booked online and that my reservation was confirmed for the restaurant. Not for the brunch. I didn‘t get advised online and neither was something mentioned at the confirmation email I got. I asked if there was the possibility to wait until a table was free - but i was advised in a very unfriendly way by the manager that it was not possible either! This is not the way to treat guest!

Very tasty brunch in a cool atmosphere!

Here you can enjoy traditional Swiss cuisine with local ingredients - from fondue and raclette to modern interpretations of Swiss specialties. We were in the converted stable and ate there. The Gastof Adlisberg is also suitable for corporate events. The house is equipped with a projector and everything that goes with it. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service. What more do you want,

It was very nice, good service. Menu very good but small portions for the price. Salad bowl for 14.Fr. very good and it was big enough too.🙂

The lady who behaves like the boss is completely miscast. We all agreed that we have rarely met a more unpleasant person in the restaurant industry than this one. We found the manner and tone of everything extremely unpleasant. That was also the reason for not going out to dinner with the team later.

We don't live far and don't get to much. Last night was absolutely great again!

We had New Year's Eve dinner at the turn of the year. Delicious wines from many countries and impeccable service. The New Year's Eve menu was optimally chosen and an absolute culinary delight! We'll definitely see each other again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Company dinner: Aperitif sensational. Lots of choice and good taste. Starter salad: French with nut salad, well, the taste is too bland for me. I personally didn't like the parsnip soup, it wasn't seasoned enough and had no kick. Main course: Meat was tender but not seasoned. Carrots dry and tasteless. Gratin was okay. Bearnaise sauce didn't save the whole thing either. Dessert: Crème brûlée, wasn't brittle. Too pudding-like, so be it... *Service staff was very courteous and friendly. The ambience was nice in the Stall Restaurant but it got very warm and needed to be ventilated more often by the staff.

Overall the food was okay. We all had the classic and that is a Züri Gschnätzelts with Rösti. Rösti was crispy and had a nice color. The sauce disappointed us because the champions were not fresh mushrooms. At least the dessert was very tasty and a successful conclusion. There are only about four parking spaces in front of the house and another option is below the restaurant on a gravel path. I liked the house, it is homely and smells of a fireplace. I also noticed the very friendly staff.

Excellent meal here last night. Highly recommended and very convenient for the Dolder should you be staying there and fancy something more authentically Swiss. Great food and lovely hospitality on a foggy December evening.

Great place for couples, families and groups alike. Beautiful setting on a farm, great idea using the old stalls and barn as private rooms. Food food, Staff very friendly.

We have been traveling regularly in the Adlisberg for four years. Be it for a snack, aperitif or dinner. We have always appreciated the hospitality, the warmth of the staff, the professional competence and quality of the catering. See you this evening, November 25, 2023. We don't know why, but the Adlisberg as we knew it no longer exists, with the exception of the prices. 🫣 The staff tried hard and had a hard time with everything. The stroganoff was pretty to look at, but a disaster on the palate. The wine, although I chose it, did not correspond at all to the character of the region of origin. And the Coupe Nesselrode looked like it had been in a serious traffic accident, but luckily it tasted a little better. Dear Mr. Segmüller, please pay a little more care and dedication in the interests of the guests. At the moment we don't know whether we want to have the courage to spend so much money on a lousy evening in one of your establishments again.

We chose the Adlisberg restaurant as the working location for our school management retreat. We were warmly welcomed. The Züristube is modernly equipped with a screen for presentations and is perfect for working in a small group. From a culinary point of view, everything went very well. We'd love to come back.

Beautiful restaurant in a privileged location, rustic rooms and good cuisine 👍🏻 In contrast to the female staff, the waiter still has room for improvement (has trouble with the order and doesn't repeat it; and then promptly delivers the wrong one. He completely forgets to reorder butter and bread during the meal 🙄🤨). The half-toasted farmer's bread with the tartare is a matter of taste - I would prefer thinner toast with it. There's nothing wrong with dessert; and overall it is worth recommending.

Simply high class in every respect!, every time, we eat there every month with the whole group of grandchildren.

We were seated but not served. Even though the staff walked past us 10 times. Think about who you hire!!! If there were minus stars for the staff then they would be in a good place! We strongly recommend that you change your staff

Very rude service. Despite the beautiful weather and a children's birthday party outside in the upper area, they simply didn't want to give us a table outside (everything was free) and couldn't justify this. My mother and I come here often, it's a shame that was probably the last time. Apparently they can afford to ignore the guests, leave them standing at the entrance and scare them away.

Unfortunately, the food was only ok for the high price. Unfortunately, the service was completely overwhelmed. Very long waiting times for food and drinks.

Food is very tasty, slightly smaller portions. At the end of the card it was pointed out that you are welcome to ask for more. If you are aware that it can be a little more expensive, the experience is good!

Very nice place, great and very nice people in service. Starter - mixed platter very nice and very good. The bread is awesome. Main courses rather average (probably an outlier) in relation to the other "performance". Definitely worth a visit.

Actually a wonderful restaurant, idyllically located on a farm on the outskirts of town. Great food, great wine list, cozy parlor. The motto “The good forest & meadow restaurant” fits perfectly. The menu is traditional, with a few modern and very few vegetarian dishes. We were surprised that our vegetarian dishes were very limited, while the classic dishes would also satisfy an adult. The two vegetarian dishes were of varying quality, the risotto was one of the best I've ever eaten, and the pasta was average for a restaurant in this upscale price range. The restaurant also does many groups. The service brings the resulting slightly more hectic and efficiency-oriented atmosphere into the room. Very friendly and professional, but of course somewhat detrimental to the desired slowness when visiting such a beautiful restaurant. Again, very good, but not quite appropriate for the price.

During my visit this evening I asked myself whether there is even a professional chef with taste buds in Adlisberg? We ordered the celery cold dish and received two plates with slightly extended cream, without a trace of celery or any other taste. After our complaint, the friendly waitress took the cold bowl back and later confirmed that it was strange. As a replacement I received a cold melon bowl, only with a single small mint leaf. It only tasted a little sweet, otherwise hardly any spices, pepper, no melon balls or anything like that. Who actually tries the cooked food in Adlisberg? (if homemade at all...) The following salad bowl contained the usual green and red ready-made salad mix with carrot and beetroot strips plus a few completely hard croutons and seeds - all from Systemgastronomie. Cucumber, tomato or other fresh thing? Missing. The whole thing was covered with a rather acidic salad dressing called house sauce, but it was more of a ready-made product. If we were in a cheap drive-in or something similar, I would understand the offer, but in a place like this with prices like this? A no-go for me. The usual warm standard dishes such as Rösti etc. may be good, but the Adlisberg is definitely not recommended for light, tasty summer dishes.

We were at the Adlisberg Restaurant 2 weeks ago. I ordered a sliced ​​meat and my girlfriend ordered a chicken breast. The food was delicious and the location is very nice, but the portions were disproportionately small. Unfortunately, the starter and dessert won't fill you up (the main course was a children's portion). Because we were still hungry afterwards, we wouldn't go to this restaurant again. However, if the portion sizes return to standard, we will definitely be in touch again.

I organized my 40th birthday at Adlisberg. I was really happy with the service and organization, but extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Far from the level I usually have when visiting the restaurant as a normal guest.

Absolutely amazing Service, Sunday Brunch is lovely, plenty and great selection, but most important wonderful service, that is very rare in Zürich.

Staff was very friendly and the food very good with good value for price. They have a nice wine menu aswell, although it is not ideal for people that have a red-green weakness since they differentiated white and redwine with green and red font ^^

This is the third time we have held a workshop here and each time we have not been disappointed. From start to finish the organization is excellent. Nestled in a beautiful, natural setting, it offers a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were there at lunchtime. Good menu selection, delicious daily menu, friendly and courteous service. What I really like is the pretty, not very high, airy wooden fence along the street side of the restaurant.

Very nice restaurant. In the garden everything is shaded by umbrellas. Food very good. Very friendly and attentive staff. The only drawback is the lack of seat cushions for the very hard wooden slatted chairs.

The motto of the restaurant - The good forest & meadow restaurant - fits perfectly. The restaurant is idyllically located on the edge of the forest, surrounded by meadows, just a few minutes from the hectic city. The large terrace offers lots of sunshine and a great view of the countryside. The food is excellent. We have hardly had the fish crispy anywhere better and the beef fillet stroganoff, which is served in a rustic style in the Pfännli, was buttery tender and well seasoned, with a slight spiciness. The ladies in service did a perfect job. Super friendly and always very attentive despite the full terrace including two larger groups. We would like to thank the entire Adlisberg team for the wonderful evening in your house.

We ate very well, in an original and authentic place. The restaurant is a stable with the names of the horses and mares. At meal time, the animals are in the back. The waiters were dressed in period clothing. Although the food was good, price-quality and quantity, we found it expensive.

Very tasty food in a cozy, homey restaurant. The service was competent, polite and courteous. We enjoyed it very much! We'd love to come back, especially on one of the winter days when it's snowing outside - just cozy!

Restaurant with an excellent location - including sunset when the weather is nice! The menu is manageable but always with seasonal offers. The quality of the food is very good. We always enjoy coming back.

Were for Easter brunch in the provider's Kuhstall area. Unfortunately the space was a bit drafty because it was right in the extension of the entrance door. The space is rather limited if you sit next to the buffet as other guests are constantly circulating. Buffet was very tasty and extremely rich. The offer is very large in comparison, such as freshly made waffles, a small seasonal soup, or plates with roasts and side dishes. The employees are also friendly. The traditional dresses that fit the cowshed theme are pretty.

Here is my warm recommendation to visit the Adlisberg team and restaurant. After our team event, we were served in a friendly and timely manner. The previously agreed menu was of top quality and came to all 18 people at the same time, just as you would have liked. Yesterday we had lunch in Adlisberg with our two children and a friend. And it was very beautiful. The food - including tartare, Zurich Geschnetzeltes and Mistkratzerle - was excellent. The service too - extremely friendly, accommodating, in a very good mood and took great pleasure in explaining the products from the kitchen. We would return to the Adlisberg at any time.

Wanted to go for a drink with my colleague. After waiting for more than five minutes, the employee came with a slightly demotivated attitude (phrased in a positive way) and took our drinks order. The cappuccino that was ordered and served was about as good as the Selecta machine coffee, i.e. barely drinkable. It was a simple, ready-made machine coffee and not freshly frothed milk, which is what you would expect and hardly requires any effort. The price for this was set right at the top at 6 francs. Conclusion: Top prices, flop quality.

cozy, rustic. It's nice that women wear traditional costumes. It's a shame that men don't wear them. does not produce a consistent picture. warm drinks were good. Temperature inside between T-shirt and sweater, so pleasant. Toilet clean. Location is a little remote but still easy to reach (from the Dolder parking lot) even for people who are no longer able to walk so well.

Had dinner here while visiting Zurich. The Fondue, chestnut soup, Alpine Macaroni and meatloaf were very good. As a vegetarian I appreciate there were a few options. The service was great too. Very charming and warm ambience overall. Highly recommend.
