Akiko in Vernier

Today, I went to buy sushi at AKIKO around 12:00 p.m. in Balexert and the Asian lady who works tried to scam me by saying my card didn't work when it worked 😡 plus the sushi wasn't good at all!!!! I will never go back!!!!!

Very hard rice with very juicy sauce I do not recommend at all this brand which pretends to be a restaurant!!!!

Several choices of dishes but the dishes are not all equally good. The chicken tikka masala was not very good with dry chicken and also soft fried fish. The only dish that is good every time I have it is chicken fried rice. It's a shame because the dishes are well presented but the taste compared to the slightly expensive price was not there.

I often come here for lunch because their chicken dishes is halal! The staff is really friendly, and we’ve become good friends with some of the. I really like their chicken fried rice and chicken pad Thai. I would recommend coming here. Oh! And I also love their bubble tea (taro latte).

Generous but dry pad thai, this was evident at first sight and confirmed by the taste. No lemon. No mint. No glass of water. Home limit. Absolutely nothing to do with the one at Plainpalais which is great.

18.18CHF for a large portion of prawn pad thai. You pay for quantity not quality as the pad thai was not very nice. I couldn't finish it and threw the rest away.

We enjoy Bubble tea and come regularly with family and friends. Each time, we have the impression of disturbing, or even outright annoying... the person in charge of preparing them. The last time it was the last straw with “hurry up”, “get those from the fridge” and “we don’t have time”. We were honestly hesitant to leave everything behind and leave. This deplorable service is not acceptable. If it bothers you to prepare bubble tea, you might as well close the counter. For now, we have clearly decided not to set foot there again.

Overpriced for the quality. It's a fast food and the price is totally no reflecting the quality expected. Mainly the chicken satay was cold and too simple for the price.

I don't find it normal that the prices on the site are not updated. I call to place an order for 18 dishes and I arrive there and pay almost 60 CHF more than I expected according to the site. Too bad I didn't have a plan B otherwise I wouldn't have taken the order. Not ecological but people must be made responsible.

Asian cuisine dishes really not good, we are in a register of cuisine inspired by different Asian recipes which if they are well made are very good, but the recipes are either adapted for the Western palate or poorly made, but in any case it is really not good at all.

It's a shame that the prices have increased so much, I really like this establishment. The chicken fried rice is my favorite, I don't give it 5 stars because the value for money is no longer as profitable. Before I paid 15.90 now it’s 18.50 so I go there less often. And I find it a shame that it doesn't have a student discount, while other AKIKOs do. It’s in Balexert, there are students from college, cycle, and business school nearby. In short, I hope that prices will return to normal soon, and I will come and give the 5th star.

I discovered this take a way not long ago. The dishes are delicious, generously served. The service is more than fast, practical when we are in the office. The staff is always smiling. Since then I have been going back there almost every day. A big thank you to you for your services and thank you to Ming for his welcome. Just missing a loyalty card 😉

Noodles way overcooked it makes a kind of pasta in my mouth it's absolutely unpleasant and I'll never come back I had to throw away my dish and I had to take a Mac

If you want something quick to eat, this is the place for you. Dishes: Fish curry is delicious, rice is a bit overcooked Chicken stir-fry the meat a little dry Servings: They are almost too big, but appropriate for the price. Prices: Prices are a bit high compared to German or French prices, even for Switzerland they are a little above average, but the portions are appropriate. Conclusion: If you want/have to go quickly and don't want to go to McD or Nordsee (which are right next to them) this is the better choice. The slightly overcooked rice and the slightly dry chicken are probably due to the late time when we ate something here (just before closing time), so that's bearable 😏 Unfortunately no pictures were taken.

At the beginning I liked it a lot and I was a regular customer but now I find it very unfortunate because you put half as much quantity as before so when you finish you are still hungry but otherwise these are very good, well done to the cook

Had chicken fried rice on April 2, the chicken was dry and tasteless. Overall it was too bland for Asian food that should be vibrant, and full of flavor. I presume it spends too much time in the reheating counter so everything is overcooked and dry. I had consistently bad experiences at this place therefore, I confirm my previous assessment: never again.

Good but unfortunately the avocado was really not ripe at all (hard and tasteless) and that spoiled the rest a little which was nevertheless good

The worst akiko in Geneva. I don’t remember what dish I had but the chicken wasn’t good in terms of texture! The dish in general wasn't that good. Then regarding the staff, I didn’t find them so friendly… Honestly the best akiko is in Plainpalais!! I strongly advise you! The dishes are extremely good!

I thought that Akiko was a franchise, the one from Balexert modifies the meals, fried rice with beans and cabbage, chicken skewers with satay sauce, not even fried, cooked and with curry, the satay sauce also with curry…. If you have allergies be careful! The dishes you know are reinvented with them! Go instead to the one at the station, the dishes correspond to what is done elsewhere.

Excessively expensive poke bowl at 22.50chf for max 3 toppings and tasteless and poorly cooked rice, the beef in the hot dish was also overcooked - I do not recommend

First visit with my daughter. We both had a small poke bowl. Very well advised on the different ingredients. Poke very nicely presented which made you want to eat it. We will be happy to come back. I can only recommend this brand.

Plat crevette tai avec une odeur qui ne donne pas envie et le bœuf curry également. Le riz trop cuit. C'est excessivement cher pour un plat médiocre. À déconseillé.

Les plats 'standard' ne sont pas mauvais, et prix honnête, par contre les desserts et entrées sont vraiment trop chère et ne veulent pas leur prix. Ajoute a ca les boissons (habituellement) surchargé, et on arrive a 65 CHF pour deux repas indique sur le mur comme 16 CHF chaque. Oui, nous sommes en Suisse, mais faut comme meme _pas_ exagérer.

Went to Switzerland for my holiday and all but two of the places nearby were super expensive. This was the opposite as the food and staff were nice and the option for customisable spices and soy-sauce was a nice touch. Wish we had one back in the UK.

Repas décevant, sauce trop salée, on aurait vraiment dit de la nourriture juste décongelée. On a laissé la moitié de tous plats.

Nous voyageons souvent en Thaïlande ! Et ce restaurant nous fait voyager ! Les plats proposés sont excellent service rapide ! Et avec plusieurs choix je recommande vivement ce restaurant ou l on peu aussi bien manger sur place qu a emporter

Hier 25/11 je suis allée au restaurant akiko James fazy, commandé un plat aux crevettes et en arrivant chez moi les crevettes étaient cru, riz sauté c'était risotto, ça a prit même pas 2min pour être prêt j aurai dû m'en douter. A revoir votre façon de préparer les plats. Insatisfaite :-/ plus jamais !!

Très cher et la qualité n'est pas au rendez-vous. Même mon Carrefour fait mieux les makis. J'ai également prit les nouilles aux crevettes une catastrophe. Les crevettes sans goût et imbibés d'eau. 89 euros pour 2 plats, 3 boîtes de makis 4 mochis. Il faudrait vraiment améliorer la qualité. Mochis vraiment immangeable.

Un accueil super chaleureux même avec une foule de client. Chapeau le service. Et une variété impressionnante de plats, le choix a été cornélien mais un vrai délice.

Le mini pokebowl thon une vrai délectation.. quelle suprise! A BalexertLe cadre sobre et propre, avec un service rapide, idéal entre midi et deux.

J'ai commandé le seul plat végétarien proposé -- le curry végétarien -- et je me suis régalé. Les boissons sortent aussi de l'ordinaire.

Ce restaurant situé dans le centre commercial de Balexert propose des spécialités chinoises et japonaises.Les sushis sont corrects mais préparés à l’avance ils ne sont pas faits à la commande donc un peu secs.Côté cuisine chinoise je n’ai testé que les nems qui étaient très bons.Par contre les prix sont un peu élevés au vu de la qualité.

Были там 5 сентября в тот день, когда в женеве все закрыто, а акико нет. Еда вкусная, цены по местным меркам вполне нормальные. Во всяком случае, это лучше чем есть в макдональдс.
