We went last night for dinner and had a great time. I ate a cordon bleu and my partner the tartare. Delicious food and excellent presentation of the dishes. All excellent quality ingredients. Location much improved with new management and quality service. All the staff were very kind and above all great professionalism on the part of the manager. Price appropriate to the experience. We will definitely be back.

Family dinner! I must say that the welcome, service and quality of the food are at the top! Usually we almost always take several courses, but rather 8 different ones so that we can taste the dishes from the vast menu that the restaurant offers! Everything excellent! Starting from the Fried Gnocco served on a beautiful wooden cutting board, the Tuna tartare accompanied by the burrata, their strong point is the mixed fried accompanied by battered vegetables, and the exaggerated and delicious Cordon Bleu, the delicious pizza with very light dough! then the very young and energetic Manager goes around the tables with a large pepper mill to sprinkle on the various courses! We always feel at home here at Torchio Highly recommended place!

In 43 years I had never had food poisoning, a spoiled mixed fry killed me. 3 days completely in bed with passage to the emergency room. Even though I called to complain about what happened, the manager says he is completely uninterested and that they don't intend to pay me compensation. If you want to take a risk, go ahead and join this rabble. When it closes it will always be too late! Not recommended!

Today we had lunch with friends, the staff was very arrogant and rude, everything we asked they responded very arrogantly. For a restaurant like this the service was terrible and above all the staff who worked there were very rude in how they behaved. Unfortunately I won't go to this restaurant anymore

Unfortunately, the service staff had never had any training, they greeted us very unfriendly and we were ignored for a long time. The first time it was acceptable because it was high season and the food itself was very good and tasty. The second and certainly last time we were ignored again for a long time even though there were unoccupied tables. Despite everything, we waited a long time and a table was even available in front of us, which was assigned to us by a waitress, but immediately afterwards another employee came and told us that everything was full. Mind you, this was with a baby and after a long wait. Not recommended if you're looking for good ambience and service, the food is the only good thing.

We definitely come to Torchio 4-5 times a year and always feel comfortable there. uncomplicated, good food, hardly anything to complain about. Price performance is good, service is very good and pleasant, especially Silvio, who is always friendly and courteous. You can be proud of such employees.

The food was superb! only the service was very bad, when you are looking at the menu the servers come to you 100 times to ask what you want. During the meal, the entire tarras is removed and cleaned up. When you have finished eating, you have to wait at least 30 minutes before a server is with you again.

Every time I visit Tignale with my family I visit this restaurant a few times. Their pizza’s are awesome. The atmosphere is great, staff is super friendly and funny.

Tourist-trap with very bad Service and even worse tiramisu

Very nicely located on Lake Maggiore. Very attentive staff who do their work with passion. The two of us had dinner twice in the evening without a reservation. Everything that was eaten was very tasty. (Beef fillet in mushroom sauce with potatoes, or the burger with pizza bread) is extremely delicious and recommended. We will definitely eat there again.

Absolutely unfriendly, not flexible staff! I made a reservation the day before; 1 person, right on the lake, before the 6 p.m. rush hour. Waiter told me the day before that it was NOT necessary to reserve a seat! And it came as it had to come! When I arrived at 6 p.m. as agreed, they said that ALL of the places right by the lake were occupied... even though I was assured that it would definitely work for an hour. That's exactly why I made a reservation the day before! I am very disappointed with the way I was treated! 1 person = less welcome and I was paraded in front of everyone by the staff! Sorry, but customer service is definitely different! Not like that! Never again Il Torchio in Locarno!!!

Perfect location overlooking the lake. The four of us spontaneously stopped there for lunch. Very nice service staff. Italian charm (: My colleagues' 3 pizzas were excellent! My grilled sea bass with vegetables as well. Big praise to the kitchen. We'll definitely come back spontaneously soon.

A very nice evening at the Laggo Maggiore. The waiter was charming and well experienced. The wine and Spaghetti Carbonara were fantastic but the Osso Bucco and the Saltimbocca were below expectations.

The food was good, but I have to say that I have eaten better Saltinbocca. It's a shame that it is served without vegetables and only with risotto and meat. Lunch with 2 classes, 40 people in total: Reservation worked great, short waiting times, good service. We were all traveling with luggage and it wasn't a problem. We were allowed to leave the luggage there for a while, thank you!! The covered terrace was reserved for us. The pizzas came really quickly and were very tasty!!! Highly recommended, would love to come back.

My friend and I were looking for a nice restaurant close to the lake and we decided to have lunch here also because both of us found the menu we would like to try. I had Spaghetti vongole and the taste was delish until I found closed clams with lots of sand inside. Then I noticed that at the bottom of the spaghetti was full of sand and I couldn't finish my meal afterwards. When a waiter came to take away the plates, I tried to show him the sandy clams but he didn't respond anything. I probably should have spoken more clearly to tell him about it. The waitress, who took us to our seats and served our food, was lovely and the atmosphere was great. I really hope they will improve on how they process the cleaning of the clams.

Sat down by chance, but would love to come back. Had Caprese and my companion had the Pasta al Salmone. We enjoyed it very much. Right on the lake or on the street, you just have to be lucky. Quality of the food is excellent and beautifully prepared. Recommended from soup to salad, pasta, meat and fish, including dessert. In addition to the Centonario, this street has the best cuisine and service, including the perfect wine selection. There was no criticism of our 4-course meal, only giving compliments is far better than Sensi, keep it up, we'll be happy to come back

An Italian restaurant that also has Cordon Bleu weeks. Selection is great. The service worked well and we enjoyed the food very much. The expensive wine could be refilled at the table, that would be great. There is a lack of ambience, especially since one door was open the entire evening for guests to be served outside. Waiter not too helpful. I ordered a pasta with garlic, oil and chilli, asking for little chilli and it arrived with too much chilli and oil. The waiter asked me if the chilli pepper was okay and I replied that it was a little too much and I received no response. Tiramisu is really a no for me. It feels like it's not fresh and homemade at all. Worse than the supermarket one. And unfortunately I wasted 9 francs. When paying (by card) the waiter even asked me if he should add the total that came out on the receipt or more....
