This is my go-to place for a feel at home experience. The tea is very authentic to Pakistani style cooked chai. Strongly recommended. If you are a Desi chai fan, do try it out. For Pakistani style, tell them to make chai like they do for "Bilal".

Excellent experience. Owners/chefs were amazing, classy and prepared the dishes for our taste and level of spice. We had the daal and vegetables and ordered more daal. Hit the spot! Samosa was crispy on the outside and a nice mix of potatoes and veg on the inside. Chutney accompanying was yummy. Vegetable biryani was great too. Well seasoned and lots of diff vegetables. Garlic naan was spot on. Quick service. Even gave us complimentary chai which was tasty, very sweet of them. Def going back again when I am in Zurich next time.

If you are a Bangladeshi or Indian food lover and look for HALAL food. Spicy Box in Zurich is a must-visit. While the location is great, it's worth noting that the seating area is quite limited. However, the food and service both left a delightful impression as the owners personally prepared and served our meals. Definitely recommended and will come back again.

A small yet tasty eatery in Zurich near the HBF. We ordered the non spicy biryani and it tasted like home cooked pulaao. Everything was prepared fresh, the green chutney and raita were also very good.

I found this restaurant in google map and walk around to see what they are serving. Briyani & Tandoori. I ordered Chicken tikka masala along with plain nan. No doubt the food is tasty,and the people are awesome. very generous and helpful. The couple who is also the owner of the restaurant, always ready to go extra miles and try to fulfil guests requirements. A very respectable Indian restaurant. The one who works there is a woman and a man. The shop is very small, one table with four chairs, something very, very wonderful. To be honest, the restaurant's operation is as if you were checking out a house. The restaurant is in the Sri Lankan neighborhood. I highly recommend it, don't miss it

the briyani here was absolutely wonderful. it was so heartwarming and the portion is perfect - can be shared between 2 people if you are small eaters or finished alone if you can eat more. the owner is so so kind and welcoming, we had to squeeze a little as they only have one table for dine in. the briyani is not spicy at all, very friendly for kids. if you are visting zurich, PLEASE visit this halal restaurant!

The food is good but for some reason each time I get a ridiculously small portion of curry. The curry doesn’t even reach the half of the take away bowl, and you can count 4-5 SMALL pieces of meat. I’m surprised the pics here look better. Despite being a regular customer and asking for more curry, it always ends in the same result. There is no consistency either. Some days you get pickle, some sort of salad, good lamb meat in the biryani, etc. then other days you don’t. As good as it is, it’s also very disappointing…… I think delivery is perhaps just NOT worth spending my money on.

I tried beef curry, lamb biryani and chicken Tikka. My taste buds felt each flavor note to its depth. Without a doubt its homemade and authentic taste. Towards the end Karak Tea closed it on a perfect note. 🥰

We ate and did take out half of our stay in Zurich from this small restaurant, this is like home made food, excellent taste and quality, very nice and humble owners, it’s basically for takeout but have seating for few people for dine in, I would highly recommend if you are looking for halal food, also fish and veggies menu, just 5 minutes walk from Zurich HB main train station. Price is way cheaper compared to other restaurants nearby.

Not really that good place to have Indian food. The quantity of the item is very less and also the actual dish which is from India is different from the one which is served here. Tried veg biriyani and it was really not the one which you expect in India. It was more of veg fried rice.
