This is a great place to stay in Interlaken! And very friendly!

If you want to feel like you did 50 years ago, go there! Prices today, renovation status as 50 years ago. Breakfast was a disgrace… at least the heating worked. It wasn't as calcified as the shower head, which certainly saw the opening of the hotel. What do you actually call companies that buy hotels cheaply, then do nothing about it and, with good marketing, rent out junk at inflated prices?

A fantastic hotel, with beautiful local feel. We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were comfortable and had a great night sleep!

We are loving this place! Great price, perfect location 3 minutes from the station in a quiet area. Lovely staff. The jacuzzi is a real treat, available all day (book your turn). We got lots of visiting information, and early check-in with no extra fee. They've agreed to let us use the jacuzzi again after we check out. The memory foam beds are wonderful (floppy pillows, though). The breakfast station is generous, and the lounge is so cute. Our room is newly renovated and the manager was wonderful! We are bringing home balsamic from the garden produce. Thanks again for everything.

Beautiful hotel and gardens at the foot of the Swiss Alps. Our tour group stayed here for 2 nights. There are no elevators at this hotel. There are 3 floors. There were helpers to assist with luggage. Comfy beds, food okay, busy staff and overall...a pleasant stay. Really enjoyed our trip up to the 'Top of Europe' the highest railway station in Europe on Jungfraujoch. We travelled up first by gondola taking in the spectacular views of the Swiss countryside, then by train to the top. Chocolates galore at the Lindt outlet and other shops for tourist's to to buy souvenirs. Coffee was always welcome! The 'Top of Europe' and Jungfraujoch is a 'must see' when in Switzerland.

Very nice hotel, well located, spacious family room the only negative point is the wooden beds make a lot of noise. The breakfast is plentiful. We had a good stay.

Hotel staff so kind and accommodating, and the head chef is a real star. Rooms were clean and warm. <5min walk to nearest Station. Breakfast is delicious, has a large variety and range, and lasts until 10.30 so even if you get up late you don't miss out. If you get the chance ask about dinner too, they only do it upon request and it was amazing and quite affordable for switzerland.

The room is filled with the scent of wood, and there is a large heater hanging on the wall. The shower room is perfect, and the floors in the room are all wooden. Electricity is multi-functional, and you can especially see the white mountains.

We were caught with high temperatures in the area. The hotel does not have air conditioning and in this situation it is hot. At night there is no reception. This slightly dated hotel (no elevator) is charming. The reception staff are very pleasant and efficient. A 3-minute walk from Wilderswil train station, the hotel has private (and free!) parking right in front of the entrance. The view of the surrounding mountains is very nice. The rooms are clean and quite comfortable but two big drawbacks: - they are very poorly soundproofed (and as incivility is everywhere, I can no longer count the number of times the doors of the other rooms have slammed...). There should be at least one system to prevent a door from slamming loudly. - no shutters on the windows and the thin white curtains are not blackout at all. So even in the middle of the night, the room is lit. Otherwise, very good breakfast in front of a very well-kept garden. Good value for money.

What a lovely hotel!!! Extremely peaceful, beautiful views and great service. They have amazing breakfast (buffet) and a great outdoors jacuzzi with a beautiful view. The room was super clean and big enough for 2 people.

I'm a world traveler and this hotel is by far the best I've ever stayed in, not just for the great location and scenic views from the backyard. There was also the thoughtfulness of the reception staff who helped us with room decorations and upgrades to help us make unforgettable memories when they heard it was my parents' anniversary, and also picked fresh flowers from their back garden and wove bouquets for us, all of which seemed very thoughtful and warm.
