The service is good, the food the worst we have eaten.

Ravioloni were very good, but two pieces were far too little as a main meal. 1 water and 2 ravioloni CHF 44.-

The Restaurant ……….. far exceeded my expectations. It offers authentic Italian cuisine with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a romantic evening or a family dinner. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the manager pays attention to every detail, I highly recommend it.

Booked this place for 2 people on Monday @7pm. The service was fantastic! The food is delicious! The atmosphere is super chill and love the vibe. Gives a very cozy feeling. The risottos in this place are delicious! I had the grilled tuna which tastes super exquisite! The panna cotta only had the fish gelatine in it! They can also do a non alcoholic Hugo as well 🍷 Overall a wonderful experience and I would like to revisit with my husband 🥰

Amalfi is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Seefeld a qucik walk behind the Opera. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening. My wife and I embarked on a culinary journey that surpassed all expectations. She indulged in the parmigiana, a dish that not only looked breathtaking but also tantalized her taste buds with every bite. Her main course, the homemade black pasta with seafood, was simply divine, a symphony of flavors that left her speechless. As for me, the cold seafood salad was a refreshing start, perfectly balanced and expertly prepared. However, the highlight of the evening was undeniably the scaloppine Al limone paired with butter-drenched spaghetti. Great Italian restaurant in Zürich

We went today for my husband's birthday with 5 people Service was terrible, it took more than an hour to get to Starters, main course, same thing! My son had to get up from the table to ask the waiter for bread to go with the Appetizer The coffee we ordered took so long that we didn't even have the courage to order dessert because of the delay and it's down to the waiters' negligence! The waiter who served us without comment, I don't think he was having a good day It felt like we were doing you a favor! It was not a positive experience 😌

I asked for directions to find an excellent restaurant with typical Italian cuisine in Zurich. Several people recommended the Amalfi restaurant to me, initially I was a little skeptical and convinced I would find the terrible pre-cooked pasta used by the vast majority of restaurateurs in Switzerland. My skepticism and my conviction were swept away by a surprising reality, finally the pasta was fresh and even homemade, the ravioli and gnocchi were nothing short of delicious, as were the rest of the dishes. Professional and kind waiters and the manager attentive to every detail. Nice and well-attended place, I highly recommend it, you deserve 5 stars.

We went to Amalfi for lunch. Since it was very, very loud, the five of us unfortunately couldn't have a good conversation. The food and service were great and I will definitely eat there again.

After moving to Zurich a few months back we found our “cantine” in Almafi restaurant. The restaurant itself is really welcoming, clean and well maintained. Everyone working there is very well trained, welcoming, attentive and caring about everyone having a wonderful time while being there. The food is great, very tasty,fresh and well presented. As everythg in Zurich its expensive but worth every penny. Thank you Almafi team!

One of the best genuine Italian taste in Zurich

Friendly staff, we especially appreciate that they even provided a simple pasta dish not on the regular menu for our toddler. The food was tasty and nicely presented. My wife and I felt that the portions could have been a bit bigger.

It's a shame that so many people keep falling for restaurants like this. The whole thing is just a show. And unfortunately not even a good one. If bad food costs so much, I at least want to be served by a waiter who understands me and doesn't guess what we said half the time. But even the chef de service, who understands you, comes across as extremely unfriendly, arrogant and indifferent. Now to the food, carpaccio with cheap, pre-sliced ​​parmesan on top?! Not good. Veal ravioli that come in a color that has nothing to do with being appetizing (tastes just fine) or a tomato/mozzarella salad in which the cherry tomatoes could also be cucumbers because they taste like absolutely nothing. And that's supposed to be quality?! This is all really bad and has nothing to do with Italianità.

I found myself in Zurich for work, I looked for an Italian restaurant as I usually do, I must truly say that I had super hospitality, I ate a plate of spaghetti with clams, it felt like being at the seaside and a fabulous fried fish. I couldn't eat anything else but I recommend it to anyone

First of all amazing service by Carminé! Thank you. Very nice ambiance and amazing food. The melanzane and the seafood salad are a must. As main course we had the sole and risotto, seabass , and the shrimp risotto ! Highly recommended.

We had reserved for a birthday. We were offered a table outside at the far end. The waiter's attentiveness left something to be desired from the start. Long waiting times between courses. We had to organize the bread we ran out of in the kitchen ourselves! What is noticeable is that the waiters only concentrate on the table they are currently serving. No attention is paid to other guests who may want to order something else. Since it always took so long to be able to order something, we skipped dessert. The food otherwise was ok. The prices for what is offered are at the upper limit. We will no longer consider the restaurant.

Lovely lunch, was booked out on Terrace for lunch, but inside seating nice too.. Went for the menu of the day .. all of us three. Was really good. We got the wine of the month, lovely.. the Barrua

Excellent as always. Unfortunately, I didn't find the lukewarm chocolate cake convincing. It was a bit watery and not chocolatey enough for me. But it is complaining at a very high level. Otherwise very good food and friendly service.

We came to this restaurant for the first time last Sunday for lunch and we were very satisfied! Finally a nice place in Zurich where we could enjoy excellent fish dishes and excellent aubergine parmigiana in a typical Italian atmosphere: it felt like we were really at home! Life is Beautiful!

Very nice terrace, cozy inside, decent food, fine crowd. Not very friendly personnel but to be honest they are quite busy and they probably rush to do everything quick so it is understandable the quality of service goes down. Good experience overall but please don't sacrifice quality for quantity, you are one decent restaurant in the area, keep it up and go further🙂

Good, solid Italian. The salmon tartare was very well prepared, the gnocchi was delicious and the tiramisu was excellent. I also found the service to be very attentive. It's nice that you can also get smaller portions. And sitting outside is really, really comfortable and protected from the wind. I would visit the restaurant again at any time and can especially recommend it for business meals

Food was great. Unfortunately, people are allowed to vape outside. Unfortunately, I have to think about whether I would like to eat my expensive pasta somewhere else next time if I don't want to smell the sweet smell of strawberries again all evening long. If there are no ashtrays on the tables outside, it would be logical that you shouldn't vape either. From my point of view, it is clearly the restaurant's job to control and enforce this.

Waiter was very rude. When got back to hotel it looked like he just threw my left overs in with absolutely no care. I worked in restaurant business for 2 decades and also never have left a review. But you can do better spend your franks some where worth it.

Don’t go there unless you want to be insulted, treated like garbage and shouted also outside the restaurant. The Director responsible to receive the clients has no education. He told us tables were not available when they were. Someone else had to intervene. We finished the dinner and this person follow us outside the restaurant to continue to insult and shouting. I don’t understand how Bindella compromises client’s security and integrity by having this kind of agressive people working there. I feel very sorry for the only two Italian waiters that were the only professional people there.

The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor area. In my opinion, the seating could use a little more space. The food was sensational and the service was very accommodating. It definitely deserves the three $$$. The starters are rather upper limit for their size at an average of 30 euros.

The Ristorante Amalfi is ideal for business meals. Incredibly pleasant atmosphere, always excellent food. We ordered Scaloppine al Limone last visit, the sauce and meat were 10/10. Come back soon - alla prossima!

Beautiful location, excellent service, great wine selection and food. We were impressed by the taste of everything, but we were a little disappointed with the salmon tartare. My dessert favorite was the panna cotta - the best I've ever tasted. All in all a very successful evening!

We spent Christmas 2022 in Zurich. On the evening of December 26th we ordered dinner across the street to the hotel opposite. After two forks, we both put the plates aside; the dishes tasted AWESOME, but were simply inedible. The presentation looked as if the chef had found something in the mess and carelessly threw it onto the plate with both hands. Never again!

We stay there without a reservation. We waited outside until a table was available. We were served an aperitif and fine prosciuto on the house🥰 Very friendly staff who look after everything so that nothing is missing. The homemade pasta al dente perfect 👌 and squid also good. And great wine.. I can recommend it 100 💯 percent!!!!! We are not from Zurich but we will be back!!!

Running an Italian restaurant in Zurich is probably not that different from running it in Milan. The area is so competitive, that you need to excel in the taste. Well, this restaurant definitely catapulted me right to Amalfi with the fresh ingredients of Zuppa di pesce con crostini all’aglio and Risotto al limone con gamberi. Grazie!

The quality of the food is really great, the service is very good. Unfortunately the prices are less. CHF 12 for 1 liter of mineral and CHF 16 for a half-empty plate of minestrone is quite steep, but probably normal for Zurich. The truffle pasta for CHF 44 would have liked a couple more strokes with the truffle slicer, I already mentioned the small amount. The tiramisu, on the other hand, was very tasty and a reasonable size. A clear recommendation. When I leave the restaurant hungry after a meal with a starter, main course and dessert, it leaves me with a strange feeling. Unfortunately, the restaurant was relatively loud, but the soundproofing could be improved. All in all 4 out of 5 stars

1)The restaurant is too loud (inclusive waiters), service rather lousy and slow. We waited for 20 minutes for an invoice, although a waiter was virtually standing at the bar. 2) thanks for your answer. There is a difference between "lively" and "loud". We were at your restaurant last Thursday, and it was definitely too loud. You could not understand the words of your partner at the table. The tables are too near to each other. You'd need to have more space between guests, even if it will diminish your income at the beginning. The tables are also too small - there is almost no place for the plate, if oil,vinegar etc. are standing on the table.

The entre was delicious and so was the pizza. The pasta with aubergine was great, however I got the one with shrimp and was just average. My other friend got the risotto which I would not recommend. Tiramisu was incredibly delicious

Although we live nearby, the place hadn't been on my radar until now and my partner suggested it. The food and service were very good, so we will definitely come back. It's not cheap, but that's why. Even though my scaloppine al limone tasted excellent, next time I'll take the branzino that my partner had, which was also excellent. The only wish would be a non-smoking area on the terrace. ADDENDUM: Has it really been two years since we last went to Amalfi? We went again this evening and were again very pleased with the service and cuisine. The young woman looked after us very well and we really enjoyed it too. As I decided 2 years ago, I took the Branzino today and haven't regretted it. It won't be 2 years before we come back.

Great service and very good cuisine

An absolutely delightful meal, sat inside without a reservation on a Tuesday evening. Wines were excellent and reasonably priced by the glass, salmon tartare appetizer and gnocchi with truffles were both delicious and incredibly fresh. Very cute surrounding neighborhood and a great spot after walking along the lake in the evening.

In the martini glass I ordered, there was more ice than drink. The burrata was very good, my risotto too lemony and therefore acidic, difficult to eat. The tiramisu was tasteless. Considering the prices charged, I expected better.
