Well, quite a benchmark for other hotels regarding holistic approach to guests. Stuff at front desk, people at the bar are doing their best to make you feel like second home. Great apartment with one of finest beds I tested. Love the overall design. It was delightful time and I already look forward to coming back again. 3 days is too short :)

Chess set at the reception only has white pawns... I've never seen anything like that. Extremely embarrassing!

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Art House for a weekend to do some city hoping - the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful & thought through rooms (we even had a private terrace 🙈), amazing restaurant interior too, for those who love that kind of thing. They have a huge table for a lot of people to mingle.. if only there wouldn’t be a pandemic.. loved the cocktails on the rooftop, and the food, too, was amazing! Very simple, but super tasty - Get the ceviche ;). But by far the best thing about then is their staff! thank you Anita, Fraenzi, Leo and everyone else who made this weekend amazing. Will be back :)

the staff were very friendly and helpful from checking us in to checking us out as well as giving us directions to various city sites. excellent service - water, plates, additional coffee pods & tea bags available on the 2nd floor. the location was perfect. the room was cosy and clean - netflix was a bonus. the balcony was great as we could eat our take-out food outside. best of all was the japanese toilet!!! i will definitely return!

Art House is a small, cozy design hotel in the very heart of Basel. Besides the wonderful design of the spaces, what makes this place really special are the people working here: friendly, attentive, super nice and very helpful. We felt welcomed and pampered all the time.
