Those responsible really need to come down a level! Otherwise the boss is still humble.

One of my favorite spots in Geneva by far!!!!! The staff was adorable and treated us like princesses the entire night!!! You have a nice selection of local wines as well and some tapas (they serve food until 2am!) The dj is excellent and you can also request songs that you wanna dance to. This has become my favorite spot in Geneva now. Thank you for your excellent service.

A more than mediocre place, the service really leaves something to be desired, especially when the waiters are annoying, rude... The place seems very attractive when you walk past it but there are many other addresses where you are at least treated with respect. We came to enjoy with friends during the weekend, everything was there to have a pleasant time. Unfortunately a waiter decided otherwise, deciding to be condescending, he decided to be very unpleasant by using “misplaced humor”. We did not come to pay for a service that creates discomfort. Some servers nevertheless seemed very professional, but without changing our opinions regarding the quality of service at this address. Ps I really hope that my message will be read by the team and will be used to improve the service of the place, in other circumstances I have no doubt that my friends and I would have had a very good time at this address , without poor quality of service.

Excellent address, very refined cuisine with balanced flavors, even the simple dishes stand out compared to other addresses. In summer, original and nice terrace, in bad weather, inside is very chic. Excellent service, we really feel privileged and taken care of in this restaurant. The food, the cocktails, the desserts are very, very good. The terrace facing the Rhône makes it a unique place in summer. For a business lunch, I had an excellent time. The calm surroundings are perfect for chatting in peace. My client was also very happy.

I live in Switzerland and this have become my friend’s and my place to weekend in. The atmosphere is amazing specially on Friday. We come all the way to Geneve for the weekend for their amazing atmosphere and Shisha. - The Shisha is good, but not really sure if it’s worth 85chf. - Service is also good, sometimes slow ( depends if it’s crowded or not ) - It also has great outdoors with a view of Geneva lake and fountain. - The food didn’t really meet my expectations. But presentation wise was excellent 👌🏽

I have known this place for almost 10 years and I find that the excellence that was there is no longer there. Very big disappointment for the quality of the snack ingredients. Too bad. I will come back to it again and again but I had to express my disappointment over time.

Very disappointing experience during a dinner. The cocktails are good and original but the cuisine is absolutely not up to the prices charged. The choice of side dishes is also very limited for a restaurant. Personally I do not recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

If they charge you 50 euros for a bottle of water and also ask you for a tip for it, you already know what you can expect from the place.

Great service, but prices are a bit steep

Around two weeks ago, me and my friends we decided to enjoy our weekend night at Arthur's and made a reservation. I personally called the place at 11am making a reservation, and at 8.30 requesting a seat by the bar area specifically by a call. I asked if that is possible, and the person at the phone confirmed firmly my request. As soon as we entered Artur's we see that the table we wanted was busy and asked why from the manager. The manager implied that he is the only one picking up calls after 8pm and this conversation never happened, specifically "I don't remember this" he sat us at the back where men only were sat, so us girls, we were very uncomfortable with the stares. We got one or two drinks each and were about to leave due to the uncomfortable situation. On the way we stop by the manager and complain about this bad experience. We said that your attitude was very rude and you showed us poor hospitality. I am personally a very loyal customer to Arthur's and so are all the 8 members of my family that live in Geneva. My friend started to give specific reasons to why our experience was bad, and the manager started to argue with us, and teach us "hospitality" lessons he has learnt in college saying: "Let me teach you what hospitality is." In addition to this, he was being very touchy towards my friend and kicked us out for complaining?? I shared about this incident to all of my family members, and this day your place lost many loyal members who have been coming for years. I do not suggest Arthur's to anyone anymore. A few years back it was good, but now the staff is acting very poor. I suggest you drug testing your staff since the way the Luca's eyes and actions were portrayed. Thank you.

I would recommend to drug test the manager because he definitely was not acting sober. My friend reserved a table at the restaurant/bar. She called before coming to make sure our table was in the main area. When we arrived, we were taken to a table in the corner of the restaurant. We saw that our table was taken, so we approach the manager to figure out why. We were very disappointed due to the attitude and tone coming from the manager when we told him we reserved a table in the main area. He specifically argued "I don't remember that, this conversation never happened" After our extremely poor experience, I approached the manager and told him of my terrible first experience at Arthur's and that I found his person very unprofessional. The manger started arguing with us, he touched me with both hands. Everything about this place made us feel uncomfortable and not safe. I am shocked that Arthur's tolerates the service and way of communicating with the customers.

Pitiful, deeply rude waiter who snatches your 25 chf drink - before it is even finished, I will never go there again

It’s a shame when a bar with a good concept and good location has bad service. My partner and I went in to celebrate our move to Geneva and we were met with such rudeness. My partner wanted us to leave but I hated the idea of someone causing us to avoid any part of a city we’ve worked so hard to live in. So we stayed and ordered a good bottle of wine. But we couldn’t bring ourselves to order food. So we left and sadly I don’t think we will be going there again.

Great location, good food, terrible staff! Order for two cocktails and an aperitif plate placed at 7:45 p.m....the stuff finally arrived at 8:15 p.m.! Unfortunately, the wrong food was brought and left for us « free », and finally after another 15 minutes the stuff we ordered arrived... after 1 hour (!) we were finally able to order another round of cocktails. We're basically dying of thirst! That's how I understand the 30.00 per cocktail, if it takes them so long to bring something, they have to charge double the price so that the location is worth it... long story short, in the end we were also charged for the "free" meal!

Lovely place to sit by the river on a sunny day. Had lunch here and the food was good, fresh and tasty. The waiter was unattentive, actually not his fault since he was alone with too many guests. So stressed staff likely due to too few hands. When the credit card device was out of power and needed battery change, the boss (I guess) came out to work a bit, and he was really arrogant to both his employee and us. Not returning here. Good food and location, but miserable staff or leadership reducing the pleasure.

I came 6 days ago with my wife and my son in a stroller to eat. The wonderful welcome, the terrace chef who has a gray checkered suit found us a nice table in 10 minutes maximum so that we could be really comfortable with our stroller. The team who served us afterwards were truly superb. Caviar small box of 10gr 27.- it was the first time for us, we don't judge. The beef fillet with spinach etc... The morel sauce I still want to come back just for that incredibly. Fruit salad for my wife excellent And the tube of chocolate with the hazelnut on top mmmm..... Not good for the diet. We thank you for your welcome.

Very bad first experience at Arthur’s this Saturday… We came with a friend to grab a table, 5 other friends were to join us. We waited a long time before one of the waiters seated us on the terrace, telling us “I’ll seat you two while we wait, and as soon as a table becomes available I’ll move you” to accommodate our 5 other friends. Alright. To wait, my friend and I each had a drink, and we ordered a plate of Nachos, which has still not arrived today. After at least 5 round trips from the waiters “looking” for our Nachos and more than an hour of waiting for two poor Aperols, my friend and I decided to leave the place, explaining that we were not 'we're not going to wait until 8 p.m. for our Nachos which still cost 18CHF (for chips seriously?) + no one seated us at a table to dine with our 5 other friends while other unpleasant customers were pampered by A to Z for eating two poor pieces of cheese. So you have to complain and speak badly to the staff to get decent service? The service really leaves something to be desired despite the kindness of a few servers, that is not enough. We came here on the advice of friends, but it is certain that we will not come back for the moment.

Ordered an English breakfast tea, for 8CHF you would expect it to come under 30 min, with milk and brewed. It does not. (I asked to get it and succeeded) Toilets are not clean

Place was trash. I walked in and asked if there was a bathroom. Understandably the bouncer asked me to leave because I wasn’t grabbing a drink but looked at me with a face of disgust like I was the skum of the earth. The bouncer couldn’t have been more than 150lbs soak n’ wet which cracked me up. Terrible impression.

If you dare to ask for water in a carafe and not a bottle of champagne, the waiters will denigrate you (for your tastes or your social class?) throughout the rest of the service. Served last, no attention, to the point of having asked twice for the dessert menu without ever having received it... The only person who seems to make no difference between his customers is definitely the cook, because the dishes were good. Establishment that judges people's means by their appearance... this is not an attitude worthy of the profession... Any respectful customer deserves to be treated with the same attention, regardless of the price of the dish they have chosen !

Good evening, I would like to post this comment to point out the inospitality of the servers. Firstly no hello, secondly non-catering behavior. Secondly, asking if you have the money to pay for a product I find scandalous. Being judged like this is very unpleasant and puts you in a bad mood. The order was not taken correctly, my colleague did not receive what she ordered. If you have to come in haute couture outfits to be well received, I find that deplorable.

We ordered: - Caesar Salad (4/10). - Tagliatelle (6/10) - Lobster spaghetti (8/10) - Zucchini risotto (5/10) - Teriyaki Scottish salmon (6/10) - Italian job burger with beef (5/10) - Swiss touch burger with beef (6/10) For drinks their vegan mojitos specially the peach one is a must try.

For a business lunch or with friends, I highly recommend this magnificent restaurant! Terrace with exceptional view, friendly and attentive service. The dish of the day was really very good (sliced ​​Zurich-style poultry and mashed potatoes). The prices are very reasonable given the standard of the establishment. I will come back.

Octopus Chitirani, cherry tomatoes et lightly smoke chili and Swiss Touch ice cream dessert. Had quite a decent spaghetti paired with chewy and fresh octopus even though I am not a fan of tomato based pasta. The Swiss touch ice cream is quite nice with a scope of vanilla, some yogurt, fresh strawberries, cheese cream and meringue.

The food and cocktails were fine. It was the first time, anywhere in the world, that I was served popcorn as an unsolicited appetizer (it worked). People say nice things about the risotto there (we had two different varieties) and I could agree but I wouldn't recommend it to an Italian friend. The setting was also nice. The manager was well above average. The service, however, dampened enthusiasm for everything else. In fairness to the managers, we witnessed lots of tension among the outdoor staff, so the managers were managing more than food and tables. Fortunately my date, my wife of 30 years (that day), was similarly amused by the ridiculousness and we walked away comfortably thinking, "There are lots of better places to spend that much in Geneva, but the servers' attitudes were priceless."

I went with an old professional acquaintance to have lunch at this place which could become our canteen as our offices are very close. But after this experience I would never set foot there again. We took 2 tuna tartares, 1 scoop of ice cream each and a bottle of water each for 178 chf for lunch. I had never seen that before except Anne Sophie Pic's cat but this is obviously justified. We asked if we could have the starter tartares served as a main course. The waitress told us that yes it was possible without telling us the price. Entrance was 38 chf. The tartare consists of tuna cut into cubes drowned in soy sauce and topped with avocado puree, no seasoning, no toast. When the bill arrived with 4 tartars noted, I asked for explanations and was told that these were the tartars served as a main course. The waitress lied by maintaining to her superior that she had warned us that it would be counted double even though she had never done so. We would never have ordered a tartare at that price except in a starred restaurant. In addition we were told "our customers pay these prices" so what class Madam the head waiter we immediately feel that we are far from the Arthur's restaurant of the early 2000s. In any case I would refrain from I'll go back and make sure to let those around me know. It’s a shame to leave such a poor quality restaurant in such a strategic location.

Came for a drink, I was not disappointed, delicious Virgin piña colada cocktail, attentive and attentive servers (very important) and a boss (Guillaume) there for these customers which makes all the difference , I recommend and would come back without hesitation.
