Atlantis in Basel

The local supper was great and the concert was ok. What I don't understand is how you can charge CHF 40 for a normal hamburger (with a side dish)....

Great concert with "Elements of Floyd" in the At. It's a shame there weren't any bar tables. How is it possible that such an “event-experienced” bar runs out of beer (by the glass)??? Incredible.... 3 stars only because the young staff really worked hard despite everything, bravo!

We had Christmas dinner there and I wasn't the only one who had to eat something at home because the portions were outrageously small. The only and tiny piece of meat was very thin and half was dry and hard, the others were ok or even pink as it should have been. As a starter we had a small nut salad and a small chocolate mousse as dessert. Very simple, unimaginative and above all not enough on the plate. I definitely wouldn't go with a large group because the kitchen is overwhelmed and doesn't make any effort.

Local So far ok. Small but nice. But when we wanted to sit upstairs to have a drink we were told we had to go downstairs. Downstairs there was only a 3 seater sofa and nothing else! When I looked upstairs again there were a few tables free but you weren't allowed to use it! For what??? From my point of view, you could have stayed there without any problems (after closing the kitchen and of course consumed something. No, we just stayed at the entrance with the cold air from the guests who entered .Next time, we either have seats or go somewhere else (but without paying entrance fee first!)

I look forward to every weekend being able to experience the Atlantic, it's pleasant with friendly people dancing and the money that Atlantis gets is from the heart ❤️ always happy.

When making a reservation, when making inquiries over the phone and also yesterday at dinner and during the concert, we were served in a very charming and friendly manner. We had the burger, once with salmon and once with meat. These were fine, but didn't blow us away (for the hefty price...). Otherwise, the Tis is still a great concert venue that I would happily recommend to anyone.

Well-known, old event location in Basel. Small but nice with a nice bar. There is self-service on the ground floor and a small restaurant with service on the first floor. Reservation needed. 😎

I can't say anything about the food. Was at the Blues Week Lisa Mann concert. That was amazing. I like the atmosphere. Is very special over 2 floors. So the concert experience is completely different. Will definitely come back

I find it overpriced and disappointing - food is pricy but very mediocre: my wife's burger was soggy and overly salty, my risotto was half-cheese thus heavy and too salty too; scallops were just OK; cocktails were too sweet and too watery, and the choice is very limited. I missed the fact that there was live music that day, so we had to pay 20 CHF per person for a gig, which was a monotonous whine with absolutely awful sound quality: screaming drums, fluctuating solo and just a trace of vocal. To add to that from the recent experience: nothing has changed: very passable food, watery cocktails and distorted sound. The place is just not made for the acoustic requirements of the bands they're trying to host.

What else needs to be explained about the legendary Tis? Simply fabulous 🤩

Went to the Dark Tenor aka Billy Andrews acoustic concert at Atlantis with my mother and it was fabulous. Nice and courteous staff at the bar.

Not quite as crazy as it was in the 70s and 80s, but with a good concert program, friendly staff and good food, the -tis is definitely worth a visit!

Very cool location. Was there for the first time on Saturday at the Livewire concert. Small but nice, that's exactly how I like it. You can see something even as a smaller person. Gladly again.

Unfortunately it was fully booked for eating but the main reason was the concert with Black Sorrows from Australia. The ambiance in the bar is great, intimate with great sound, luckily we had a table 1 m from the scene, so we could really appreciate all aspects of the bands efforts & feel the warmth from the band as the made a fantastic concert with lots of energy! Will book in time for the next time, seems the food is also really good!! All the best! Mats
