The perch fillets on the menu were well served, small problem, I was offered a salad, which I was charged 7 chf + the fillets at 28 chf, that's expensive for a neighborhood bistro! They told me everything becomes expensive. So expensive for expensive I will eat them elsewhere!!

Incredible place to live on Place des Augustins

The gin and tonic billed in two installments I do not agree! In the name gin and tonic, there is the word tonic. So charging for tonic in addition to gin and tonic makes no sense. In addition, they serve an industrial gin without flavors.

Hello everyone I had a bad experience I showed up to look for work a lady with blonde hair and a waitress spoke to me badly lack of respect plus she allows herself to make comments about the time I am arrived to look for work even though since 6 a.m. I haven't stopped looking for work she complains because I arrived around noon in the restaurant all to say that it doesn't even make you want to go back either to eat or to look for work

Pathetic reception, the waiter allows himself to make considerably inappropriate remarks to women. Stare at the customers, the male servers of this place only have eyes for the female gender. We're not even talking about simply poor service or simply individuals primarily interested in their end of services rather than serving. Which is, after all, what they are paid to do. Note that the cook is in his locker room in a garage, behind the restaurant. Only clean.

Passing through the hospital area, wandering around looking for a relatively quiet restaurant, I ended up at the Café des Augustins. I ate a very good pizza there, the dough was delicious. The calm was relative in this working-class neighborhood, between tramps and homeless people. The server was very discreet... a little too much.

Another pizzeria in Geneva, not long ago it was a wine bar, standard service, staff imported from France. Nothing new 😄😅🤣

I was greeted as if like that. The person who was on the balcony and took my order did it halfway. He was neither precise nor able to offer anything to drink, during the wait of another 15 minutes for my order to be finalized. Damage !!! :-( So, I'm not sure I'll come back to them.

Change of ownership, change of menu, change of product, it is today an Italian restaurant. The pasta for some was not cooked... The excuse was that it was overcooked?! Not very commercial in the end because there were a lot of personal comments before offering us a replacement. We were uncomfortable and left.

Very nice, quite lively places!!! Good welcome!!! Various activities such as pinball, table football and darts!!! Seeing a football match or a tennis game with Rodger there while drinking a cocktail is as cool as their cocktail's!!! I advise!!! This one of their evenings is GREAT!!!!

So... I would have heard everything...! The employee who received me does not deign to look at me because he is on his phone. After a while the pizzas are placed on the counter by the cook... The tall, thin man behind the counter continues to tap on his phone. I called out to him with a "Good evening" because he was not decided to welcome me properly to his premises... So he ended up giving me my pizzas... He managed to reproach me for not having said hello to him in arriving... FORGIVE?! I make him understand that this is not how we welcome customers and he allows himself to be familiar with me and becomes aggressive... Unfortunately not many people in the restaurant noticed the incivility of this person but I was on the verge of ejecting the pizzas behind his bar... Why? Because on top of that my order was wrong!!!!!!! Aberrant... I can't find a word to describe his behavior! I sincerely hope that he will be fired as soon as possible because I won't set foot there again if I realize that it's him who runs the restaurant.

We just ordered 5 pizzas. For the price of 10CHF = pizza + drink! Home GREAT! Excellent pizzas, sizes, toppings and very good dough. We recommend, and will come back. Good luck, looking forward to MF and family

At first glance you might think that the food must be bad but I ate there twice and found it good and good value for money.

The waiter is super welcoming and caring, the service top and the prawns delicious!

Not the trendiest, but the most authentic café in the neighborhood. Local clientele, large terrace and good coffee. Pizza formula with unbeatable value for money, the best in Plainpalais. Friendly welcome without fuss.

Service can be slow during lunch time place is usually quite packed.

Oh well, I prefer the Vignettes over there, at least they're nice to ME. The boss of the Augustins is too moody but the staff is nice!

Clear drop in quality..Strong impression of reheated pizzas, ingredients are missing, they are dry..As for the pizza drink package: no choice: ice tea or ice tea. Too bad, maternity has a strong potential customer base but here you have just lost some of it...

Adding a comment after going back 3 weeks later - excellent pizza: I had a calabrese pizza, the quality of mozzarella and tomato sauce stand out for authenticity. I have been impressed by how good pizza is , especially considering that the core image of the restaurant is around Brazilian/Portuguese and Swiss dishes

Friendly welcome, boss comes to see you if everything goes well, it's rare these days to worry about customers. Dynamic waitress at least she looks at you to see if you need. Also rare because cars look at the ground like ostriches so you don't question them. Prawns on Thursday, hearty and very good, perfect home fries.
