Food very good, portions a bit too small. 😉

The food is delicious and the restaurant is beautiful. Unfortunately, the service is simply poor - the employees are not attentive and it takes an extremely long time for the order to be taken. The waiting time for a lunch menu was 40 minutes. This has been the case on all visits so far. Not recommended for lunch...

It's very welcoming place. Staff can speak good English apart from their local languages. We opted for couple of vegetarian dishes including pasta, pizzas & soup 🍲.

Before visiting the KKL, we enjoyed a delicious dinner here with good wine. The service was very friendly and attentive. Always my pleasure!

Ordered a bowl of rich and creamy tomato soup on this chilly night. Soup was paired with a slice of toasted focaccia bread smothered in pesto. Soup was deeply flavorful and filling - perfect!

Little surprise of this Restaurant at the Ameron hotel where we are staying ; we decided to support the restaurant because the first evening at the hotel , I was asking help to get hot water n ice , what I received is an overwhelming service. Then I came back next day for dinner.... Professional services to start with , followed by recommended appretizer which is delicious , then the main Courses were outstanding. I also picked a bottle of house brand Italian red wine which was up to standard. Reasonable price too.This is a strongly recommend restaurant in Lucerne, must try.

The ambience is nice, great furnishings. The investor has invested a lot of money here and saved money on the cook. For a drink or aperitif Ok, I wouldn't eat here a second time, 1. It tastes much better at Mom's, 2. Squid was like rubber, 3. For that price I'd rather go to a gourmet restaurant.

Warm atmosphere, good food, spontaneous and friendly service. Like being kissed by mom! Will definitely come back.

The staff are all friendly and the spaghetti and meat are really delicious! I was worried when I saw the review saying it wasn't friendly, but not at all! I even asked how it was in the middle and the service and taste were both excellent.

I haven't been there for a long time. Had a pleasant afternoon there. Had a very fine fine pinsa. The service was very friendly.

Literally ordered a coffee and waited 30’ to get it. Couldn’t order a focaccia as the waiter was running around. When the coffee arrived, they told us that the kitchen was closing in 1’ and they could handle cooking a focaccia anymore. Expensive and disappointing.

We’ve been waiting for more than 30 minutes for them to take our order. Once they come and we order a focaccia, they tell us the kitchen closes in 1 minute. :)

The food is of a high standard, but the overall experience, including the closely spaced tables and mediocre service, only partially justifies the foreboding reputation and fairly high prices

The best place is at the “bar” directly in front of the bakery. With the Pinsaiolo it is very entertaining ;-)

Wonderful, as always! The staff is always great and friendly - no matter how many guests are in the restaurant! The food is fantastic! Of course we would love to come back 🥳

Service still has room for improvement. Ambience very nice. We felt comfortable with a coffee. But I have to emphasize that the service wasn't unfriendly, but it wasn't really trying either.

Nice decor. I don't remember the name of the cocktail ( Campari with orange juice)exactly, but it was the best I've had with my boyfriend in this restaurant. The carbonara was the worst I've ever had, it was too much liquid and tasted like eggs from a carton. And we brought back almost full plates. In my opinion it's hard to mess up carbonara, so it was really sad for me. I said my feedback to the waiter but he reacted like it’s okay .

A very cozy restaurant. Almost immediately we were seated at a table. We didn't have to wait long for the order. I liked the warm salads, but, unfortunately, I didn’t remember the name 🙄

I ordered the “homemade pasta | wild boar bolognese | parmesan cream” ….this isn’t what I was expecting. I also find it hard to believe the pasta is home made….i don’t mind purchased pasta but don’t say it is home made when it isn’t….at least the pasta itself was cooked well. After paying close to $57 Australian dollars I had to eat it whether I liked it or not.

One of the best pizzas in Lucerne without the debt. We really liked the service.

I went here for Lunch as the Place looked inviting from the outside. Apon entering i was greeted with a kind genuine smile and the service stayed excellent throughout my visit. The Atmosphere was nice though a little quiet (okay it was Monday 1PM) I had a Pinsa Caprese which was “lush” as an english person would say, The last time i had buffalo mozarella that good was in northern Italy. As a bonus a free starter is included unti 2PM. Prices were fair considering we are in the heart of a Swiss city. Definatley earned the 5 Stars and i Will return on my next visit to Lucerne.

very attentive, loving and professional staff. it was a pleasure to eat there! the poles were excellent. It would be nice if vegetables were also on the list of possible side dishes. And the location is perfect if you plan to attend a concert at the KKL afterwards.

Very nice, solid cookies. The restaurant is large and yet very quiet. You enjoy the atmosphere and being together. Salad with fresh porcini mushrooms was excellent! Pinza very crispy. Worth recommending.

We were able to reserve spontaneously. The staff was attentive. Map is diverse. Some dishes were hardly salted or seasoned. Unfortunately it didn't taste as expected. That's why the price-performance ratio isn't quite right.

Loved Lucerne. Loved the hotel. Did not like the restaurant. Salad was good. Pasta was acceptable. Service was terrible. Waitress was unfriendly and extremely slow. In fact, we waited so long for the check we had to ask another server what happened to our waitress. We were there 9/22/2023.

It is definitely one of the best places in Lucerne. I will return

This was such a surprise - we did not expect a hotel restaurant to be so amazing! We wanted to check out the hotel for our next visit to Lucerne (A wonderful city), and found the restaurant so inviting, we went in. As we were being seated, I looked at the delicious looking meal on the table next to ours. I asked the couple if the food was as good as it looked - they replied that it was even better, and they had eaten there every night! When the waiter came, we told him to forget the menus, just bring us what they were having, and we were not disappointed! I had the most incredible gnocchi ever, and my wife had "the best salad I have ever tasted". I only intended to eat a part of the gnocchi but could not stop. I truly wished we were staying longer. In addition, our waiter JAMIE, was the nicest, friendliest, most helpful waiter we have seen in a long time. We would have gone back just to see him again. Please - if you are in Lucerne, you need to go to Bacio. It is just a few steps from the Chapel bridge and the train station, in the Ameron hotel. Just do it!

Great stop for an early dinner. Service was initially great, then they got slammed. Drinks and starters were excellent, I can recommend the burrata and roasted vegetables. We cannot recommend the shrimp risotto or gnocchi. The flatbread pizzas around us looked great. We wanted dessert but could never get the servers attention. We'd go back.

The makrell was salty and over cooked The beef carpaccio was tough like leather (a first) And the carbonara was flavorless and tasteless. I won’t be going back

Delicious food with authentic italian recipes, nice wine, great service!

A couple of weeks before our wedding, my (now) wife and I were looking for venues able to accommodate our family with as diverse of a menu as possible for a fair price. The manager was available to help make the accommodations for us, helping us plan, etc. My wife and I are beyond elated with how dinner went! The service was sublime, the manager made sure that he was there to help with our every need, and the food (and wine) was, of course, incredible! We ended up going with the Tavolata Piccola - everything was cooked and served to perfection. I would recommend this place to anyone, whether it be a lunch date to anyone planning an event. 10/10 for everything. Our biggest thanks for helping bring our families together to celebrate our big day. We will be returning as regulars. Much love, Laura and Thomas

I took the spaghetti alla carbonara. It was as close as I've tasted it in Rome!

Feel bad. First is we were waiting so long till the waitress slowly came and took us to one tiny table (We could not put all food on this table that made us ate food akward ). Second is we just wanted to eat some food and drink some free water, but the waitress didn't get our allowence to open a big battle of charged water! I don't know why!!! and The food is just mediocre

We ate here on our first night at the Ameron Flora and we were very impressed. The good was delicious and the staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. It has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and is stylishly decorated. We had a flatbread and gnocchi which were both delicious, and spritzes. Would definitely recommend.

Great place in Luzern. Pizzas are great, dough is really good, not too many options but all are tasty. I tried both pizza and pasta and will choose pizza over pasta, although pasta is also homemade and good. Piecewise is like every other place is CH... staff is nice and speak good English. A place to recommend and will surely return.

Even though we stepped in really late, we still got food served. The portion is good, the price reasonable and the staff very nice. Also have we been here for the first time but definitely not the last. The design of the restaurant is so beautiful and the atmopshere very cool. A really cool spot just a short walk from the train station.

Pleasantly surprised by the decoration of the room. Mediterranean cuisine. Quantities leave something to be desired. I'm not a big eater and I'm hungry. We can order a second p'at but it's 28/33 FCH. Unreasonable in my opinion. Carafe of water charged 3'50 Error on the note 9'90 wine, not consumed. Error quickly repaired. But mixed experience.

Very nice restaurant Service is very good

I wanted a wholemeal croissant with my morning coffee, unfortunately there are only the classic butter croissants, which is a shame. Today, when so many people are looking at healthy foods, that should be possible.

Good interiors and the atmosphere, way below average food, absolutely abismal service. With only 3 tables occupied, we waited 15 minutes for the order, ankther 15 minutes for the water and almost 40 minutes for the food, another 20 minutes to be able to pay. The people for the service were just not paying attention to the room. A table was delivered a "brick of bread", had to call the service to get it cut which for some reason didn't cut in the first place. One of the people at that same table gave up on catching the attention of the server and went to pick up a spoon, which wasn't provided with the soup that was order. We went for lunch, maybe at dinner it's different, but definitely we will not attempt to discover it.

1. We were told on the phone that they were fully booked. However, we were able to reserve a table online. 2. We forgot the lemons with our drink. 3. We wanted the sauce separately for the salad. Then we were accidentally served pudding or something similar in a glass. When we said that it was certainly not a salad dressing, the salad dressing was finally brought to us and the consistency was correct. 4. The paccheri with zucchini mint cream didn't taste like anything. Even my seasoning with salt and pepper didn't help. I gave the plate back full. There was no interest from the service people, which is why it wasn't tasty. Unfortunately not recommended.

Overpriced. Spaghetti was below general standard in Italy and Switzerland. But the service was really excellent and hospitable!

We had the breakfast buffet and the selection was excellent and the food tasted great. They even had silver dollar pancakes.

We had a wonderful dinner here. The Margherita pizza tasted amazing, with a perfect thickness of the crust that was crispy and deliciously baked. The truffle spaghetti was tasty, cooked for just the right amount of time, although it could have had a bit more toppings. The dessert was excellent. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone in Lucerne looking for Italian cuisine.

Friendly, accommodating, prompt service, even if many guests want to be served and you only have a small request for food, I think it deserves 5 stars.

We found the BACiO during a walkabout our first day in Lucerne. Ended up visiting every afternoon following our bike rides. Good beer. Decent prices for food—staff was extremely helpful explaining menu options for dinner. Got to the point servers just asked, “same again?” when we showed up.

Price-performance is not right for me. Prices too high and the food far too meager. CHF 12.- for the minimal portion of Spaghetti Nature. My 4 year old daughter wasn't full! CHF 13.- Pizza for children, and it is the size of a triangle piece of a large pizza. I'm disappointed! Afterwards we went to McDonald's

Welcome and friendly staff. Modern and warm decor. High prices, but we are in Luzern.... The revisitation of traditional Italian dishes is an interesting concept but the result is mixed. The gnocchi al castagne were bland. The risotto con râpa rossa e gorgonzola is OK, but could have been more spicy. Classic Tiramisu.

Super nice service, delicious drinks, good food - and everything right next to the train station

We ordered a tiramisu and fusili in broccoli cream. The tiramisu was quite good, but the pasta was unfortunately average at best. Unfortunately, the lady who served us wasn't in a good mood, she didn't even smile at us and always spoke very abruptly and curtly. The other colleague to whom we paid was the first to greet us in a friendly manner.

The food was very tasty and we had a nice stay. The only thing that bothered us was the service at dinner. I would have liked it to be explained to us how this works with the menu that was included, which we had already booked in advance. When asked, the service was rather unfriendly and didn't have much time (or inclination?) to answer our questions about the menu. Maybe we Swiss are not used to the German way? ;) A little more friendliness wouldn't have hurt. Otherwise it was very nice and the reception was very friendly.

Good service and food is great! Pinsa is highly recommended and tiramisu was my favourite! We also had the salad and tomato soup which were all good.

We visited for lunch for Italian food. English menu is available via QR code but the server kindly translated, described and recommended us really delicious choices. Friendly & hospitable service! Really very nice and friendly staff. But sometimes overzealous... Pinza are small and the selection is quite meager... it's really not spoiled for choice, I was disappointed... the price is too high for a Pinza, even though the taste and ingredients are very good and fresh.

Although it is on the 1st floor of the hotel, there are many customers other than hotel guests, and it is always busy on weekends, so it is better to make a reservation. There is a wide variety of menus, so you can enjoy it according to the number of people.

Impossible. My 2 year old son and I wanted to grab some lunch. After we were seated at a table, we were given a drink and the menu, after which we were not noticed at all for 30 minutes. Guests who came after us were served straight away, given bread and their soup quickly. We didn't even have the opportunity to place an order. We then left the restaurant hungry. Of course great with a small child.

Very nice restaurant, nice staff and the food was also very good. The only downside is that the Sunday menu is very limited and nothing is indicated, a slight disappointment when we arrived.
