There's a lot going on in Heini, so it's also loud. The service is very good and the food was ok too. Had the avocado toast bread with egg :)

Great breakfast... Nice service. The lady wanted to add a table for us. But it wasn't really necessary... the mirror on the toilets is miserable

The woman with the red short hair is terrible and the way she treats the staff is a no go!!! She should go to a service school to learn how to be friendly. The fine food distracted us from the (unfriendly lady)

Food is great and so is the staff there. However, the staff in the restaurant could be friendlier and more organized. A smile when greeting would also be great. The toilet wasn't clean in the afternoon.

The coffee and baked goods are fresh and good, but the staff is unfriendly and very stressed. The experience in the actually beautiful pastry shop was somewhat spoiled.

There were five of us and we ate various brunch specialties. Everything was very good, good portions and the price-performance ratio was also right. The staff is also attentive and friendly. Bravo.

Drinks ok, very long waiting times to pay..

Terrible service. We sat down four adults with three kids (ages:10, 6 & 4). We ordered coffee for the adults and the 10yr old. They made us order something for the small kids. You dont even buy train tickets for kids… very bad service.

5 adults ordered 5 coffees and two berliners. The waitress told that we should order for the two Kids which are 4 and 6 years. This is rude. I never faced a situation like this. Terrible and unkind!

Well-attended café in the middle of Lucerne. Ambiance is okay. Great selection of cakes, sandwiches and other delicacies. Rather expensive, 3dl open drink over 5.- Service is nice, but not attentive enough.

Cozy restaurant: delicious food including a fine selection of cakes 😊 with great service, always busy and therefore a bit noisy at times. Coffee a bit bitter for my taste. Unfortunately, not enough return money was received today and this was only discovered afterwards. It's a shame if there are careless mistakes, I always had the feeling that the service was doing an impeccable job...

There were 2 of us. For breakfast. We have a small meat & cheese plate (CHF 11) and an avocado toast (CHF 12) + 2 latte caffè (CHF 13) = we paid about CHF 35!! The price doesn't correspond to what we got, 3 slices of meat don't cost 11 CHF. We weren't the only customer who complained about the price, one woman said a coffee and 1 piece of toast couldn't cost 20 CHF.

We had a very pleasant lunch here. The food was good and the staff were lovely.

When packaging the tuna salad and shrimp and tomato pasta, the staff was very kind, a slim white woman with yellow hair and wearing glasses who kindly guided me through the bread, fork, knife, etc. and helped me pay.

We wanted to go for a coffee in the morning and saw this place that looked perfect for it. The service is good, nice staff and the coffee is actually good and tasty. What we honestly didn’t like was the fact that everyone asking for a coffee was also served a glass of water and we didn’t… maybe we’re unlucky.

The variety of delicacies, from freshly baked croissants to delicious jams and a selection of meats and cheeses, was simply impressive. Every bite was a feast for the senses. The quality of the food was exceptional and it was obvious that there was an emphasis on premium ingredients and masterful craftsmanship. However, what really made our visit unforgettable was the exceptionally friendly and courteous service. The staff managed to pamper us without being intrusive, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior of the Heini Conditorei was equally charming, with lovingly designed details that transformed the place into an oasis of enjoyment. Overall, our gourmet breakfast at Heini Conditorei was a wonderful experience. The attention to detail, the quality of the food and the hospitality of the staff made this visit special. If you are looking for a first-class breakfast experience, Heini Conditorei is definitely worth recommending.

It was delicious and a nice place to linger

When visiting the local Café Heini, I first had to spot a free seat in the well-occupied restaurant. The espresso was good, the price of CHF 5.20 was rather expensive!

We went to Café Heini today and were thrilled. The cake tastes delicious, the iced chocolate was a delight. The service was also extremely friendly and accommodating. This was definitely not our last visit.

Perfect bar for a quick stop in hot day

Unfriendly and rude service, not polite and provide limited information. Feel a bit racist that the waiters just ignored us and another Asian family, go directly to serve other customers instead. If you want to eat inside, you need to find a seat by yourself. If you don't order enough, you will be asked to add more, but there is no explanation at the beginning☺️The waiter did not come to ask us what we wanted. After we sat down and ordered our own food, we were ignored by another waiter. Asked (thinking we occupied the seat without ordering)

I had lunch at Heini with my mother and sister a few days ago. My mother and I ordered something from the menu and my sister asked the waitress if she could grab something from the counter and eat at the table with us. The lady replied: "Yes, you can." When my sister sat at our table afterwards with a salad and a roll, the same lady came back and said she couldn't eat it here because of the VAT. We then explained to her that we had asked. She then looked for the employee who had promised this. We followed her and explained that we had asked exactly her a few minutes ago. Without apologizing, the lady at the service explained to us that she only meant the tarts. But how are we supposed to know that!? The food was tasty, but very expensive (for 2 salads including soup and 3 drinks it was CHF 65.-). In addition, my sister had to sit next to us and was not allowed to eat, although this was obviously a communication error on the part of the employee and was not on our part. This could be optimized so that customers are not annoyed.

I entered the restaurant with my baby (3months) and my little sister (pushing the stroller) and asked about the changing room. The security guard said snidely that we should go to where we bought the things (my sister had a bag from the Bachman pastry shop in her hand). I politely said I needed to change my baby urgently (my baby was crying in my arms). He again only for customers. I again then buy something after I wrap her. Wanted to get past him. He stared at me angrily and shouted that I should buy something right now. If I hadn't had my baby in my arms and I hadn't had to change her diaper straight away, I would have left the store straight away. But unfortunately I was forced to use the changing room.

Great atmosphere, finally the carpet is out and a vinyl is in. The zmorg tower are both awesome and everything is fresh.

Good selection of cakes and tarts. Double espresso was a bit sour. For Fr. 7.00 I expect better quality and/or preparation.

Unfortunately we didn't have such a good experience. When we entered the coffee shop, the service came very quickly. We didn't even have time to take off our jackets. When I ordered a cappuccino and my sister didn't order anything because she couldn't decide so quickly, the waitress complained that she couldn't sit here without consuming something. I find this very disrespectful, but since she is young and hasn't been able to decide on a drink after 1 minute of coffee, that's no reason to attack her like that. In addition, I received my cappuccino very rudely and half the coffee was spilled on the plate underneath. We even had a snack and were still served very unfriendly the whole time. It should also be noted that coffee was about half full.

Fine breakfast for the whole family.

You have to try the Lucerne Zuckerkirch Torte. And a great selection of bread, all baked in-house.

I actually had to look out the window to see if I wasn't still sitting in Zurich. 5.40 for a cappuccino, which also had a pretty bland taste. The service was very friendly and in a good mood. That leaves a good impression after all.

Bar/pastry shop in the heart of Lucerna, refined environment with lots of choice for lunch, tea, coffee or dessert. Professional and welcoming service. Naturally a classic bar in the historic center with medium-high prices.

Terrible service don't go to this location. I ordered from the self-service salad bar and the waiter asked if I wanted water. I said yes, and the next thing I knew, I was charged 6 CHF for bottled water. The waiter said they don't have 'tap water' which is baloney since all the other tables around had a glass of regular water.

The service is sometimes very rude. I was alone at the table and ordered 1 coffee. But the waitress came with 2 coffees. Why should I have ordered 2 coffees when I was alone at the table. Then a woman said to Gomez in a cheeky tone: You said 2 coffees. The customer should never be blamed. One could have said: oh then we misunderstood each other, sorry. But as a paying customer I was treated rudely. I won't come to you again in the future.

Tourist place..in the centre..passing through if you are with suitcases it is comfortable because it is spacious..good service but horrendous food

We had lunch and the the dishes were awesome especially the pasta.

Horrible service, food average at best(being very generous here). Staff need some training on manners and customer care. One friend who was with us at the table was told she couldn’t eat the sandwich she had just bought, (and were halfway through it, btw) after she had been given the plate and crockery. Entire staff was very rude and we could definitely see a lack of management. Wouldn’t go back even if it was the last place open. Cheers

I walked into the shop at 4:50pm on a Saturday, wanting to buy a slice of cake to take home. The lady behind the counter looked at me and then continued to help the Swiss customer who came in after me. I waited patiently - even though the second lady in the shop started taking the cake displays to the back. Once the Swiss customer was helped, the first lady just continued to ignore me. When I finally asked out loud that I'd like a piece of cake, she told me that WE ARE CLOSED NOW. I understand that 5pm is closing time, but in what world do you treat a customer who has been in your shop for 10minutes before closing time and who has been waiting patiently, so poorly? You made me feel less than welcome. I will not be visiting again or recommending this shop. Ever.

Went to this cafe for some lunch after walking about the streets of Luzerne. After finishing the food we ordered, we sat chatting for 10 minutes before heading back out to continue exploring the city. The staff told us that if we were not ordering anything else then we had to leave immediately. Very poor way to treat paying customers, especially considering there were plenty of other empty tables at which they could have sat other customers if needed

Had the Landfrauen menu for two...Very nice, large portion and delicious Bürli with it... Soup & chicken curry with various other salads, sauce separately... Great idea. Thank you, come back.
