Erdem Kebab in Luzern

I was there again and ordered a kebab and I have to say that for the high price the meat was saved quite a bit. I have to say that I had a kebab cheaper and had more than twice as much meat in it

The best doner meat from Lucerne and central Switzerland is available at Erdem Kebab. In a word, it's perfect, delicious and very affordable. I have eaten kebab in many places in Lucerne, but all kebab shops serve the same meat. They use ready-made meat. There is everything except kebab. Only at Erdem Kebab is it possible to eat real meat and kebabs.

The best kebab I've ever eaten! If you are in Lucerne or nearby, I ask you to come here. Not only is the food absolutely spectacular, the place is also very clean and the staff are very friendly and offer great service. You should definitely come by!

Food tasted okay, but gave me food poisoning.

Children's portions Since I have eaten here several times, I would like to give my opinion today with a review. As I just said, I've eaten here several times and the review is actually long overdue, but I always thought it was a bad day and it's getting better, unfortunately that's not the case. I'll start with eating. A pure rip off. I am 1.90 tall and get a children's kebab. All kebabs are the same size as children's portions, others have the same opinion (see reviews) The taste is like every other kebab in Switzerland, so it's nothing special. I'm sure the bread isn't fresh, as you can see in the photos attached. It breaks into 100 pieces when eaten. I also made a short video of how the oil or something similar comes out. In reality, you should take my recessions constructively and put more love into the food. Homemade bread/meat and if the kebab cost 2 francs more, I'm sure you would have more success. In Switzerland there are 2 large suppliers of kebab meat and they all order from the same place and therefore the same everywhere. The same iceberg salad, same sauces, everything the same. Well, I'll steer clear in the future because you can get a few steps more for the same price. What can I say about the ambience? Floor, tables, chairs and you're done. The only thing that was nice was the lady at the checkout. I hope those responsible open their eyes and change something. Otherwise just go to the nearest kebab stand. My intention is not to put anyone down, but to hand me such a small kebab without being ashamed is absolutely an impudence and the best comes at the end. On the packaging it said: "There is nothing better" Oh well.... I'll leave it at that, everyone can form their own opinion.

Customer for 17 years. In the past it was rather high quality, although small portions and today it's simply no longer worth a visit. The bread never seems fresh, it crumbles and tastes like it has been frozen and thawed. Self-service at the counter is inconvenient, but it's ok. Too little sauce with every order, none on the table. You have to ask and for 3-4 people you only get a small Söseli. Small portions, very little meat. Often dirty floor. Why should you do that to yourself? It's a shame what has become of the kebab shops in Switzerland. Nobody tries anymore.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time that Erdem has delivered completely the wrong thing. I order a pocket bread with lots of cocktail and receive a pocket bread that consists of 50% fried onions🤢

We were only in Lucerne for a short time and wanted to grab something to eat next to the train station. We are tourists. The quality was poor and the seller was extremely unfriendly. It could be that we were just unlucky, but if someone can't even brown the meat in a kebab, they should look for another job!

Kebab is ok to good, but I saw how the cashier, who handles the money without washing his hands, also handles the vegetables etc. with the same gloves. This is unhygienic.

A tidy Turkish restaurant with clean food and reasonable prices

We chose this place for lunch with my colleagues on December 7th. I'm glad we had the opportunity to try it, we liked it very much, the taste was incredibly good. The kebab was puny, the meat was bland, as was the sauce, the flatbread was doughy and tough. I had something to eat afterwards.

The food was good and the staff was very friendly. The store was clean and well maintained. A little decoration would enhance the whole thing.

0 stars would probably be more appropriate! Ordered a kebab in a pocket bread and a kebab pizza from an older gentleman who was a bit overweight. He then just typed the pocket bread and when I politely pointed out to him that I would also like a kebab pizza, he snapped at me and said I could have told him that straight away and that it was only the bank that had a good one Doing business (I paid by card) Then he told the preparer in Turkish, you don't have to put too much meat in his kebab. Which was the case. Very disappointing to be yelled at like that for a mistake the employee made. Afterwards they gave out 2 more meals to the wrong people. Apparently the chaos there is normal, but I don't really feel like being made fun of like that. I used to always enjoy being there, but it looks like the operator is doing everything he can to annoy his customers and is spreading a very unpleasant atmosphere.

The boss behind the counter was very friendly and attentive. The woman who designed the really inedible kebab, however, was unfriendly and unmotivated. The kebab was bad..... Cold meat from the box, hardly filled and a small selection unfortunately make it the worst kebab in the city!

I have always been very enthusiastic about the quality of kebabs for more than 20 years. Lately, it's no longer the good sauce that's been dripping out of the kebab, but rather disgusting fat. Maybe it comes from buying the meat cheaply from a lot of minced meat instead of real pieces of meat. Ugh, I'll look for another kebab snack bar. What a pity

I ordered a falafel box for CHF 12. The 'falafel' was shaped oddly. A one inch square and hard with no soft centre. I got 8 squares and lots of soggy french fries. Either they were out of falafel or they have the worst falafel I've ever eaten For context I've lived in Dubai so I know falafel. The other products looked ok so I wonder what went wrong I won't eat there again though.

Super tasty kebab, I can especially recommend the pocket bread. The employees are very friendly. The price-performance ratio is also very good. A great kebab shop! Edit: the student menu now costs a franc more and doesn't even include a drink, disappointing

My worst experience in a doner shop. Kebab was not freshly cut but was taken from a pot. It was tasteless and juicy rather than crispy. They warmed up the whole sandwich (including salad) in the oven before serving.

The other day a bee flew into my mouth and stung me on the inside of the lip. You can hardly believe it happened so quickly. I immediately drove to the nearest snack bar and asked for half an onion to relieve the inflammation and pain by pressing the onion to my lip. I received these very helpfully wrapped in paper and aluminum foil and thanks to Erdem Kebab I didn't become the third Bogdanoff brother. 10/10 for the onions!

Probably the worst kebab I've ever eaten

It was the best doner kebab I've had in Europe. My fiancé is a foreigner and he loved the lahmacun. The prices are very affordable compared to the economy of this place. The chef's hand was delicious and when the owners heard that I was Turkish, they gave me generous portions. We had 2 meals. Thank you very much.

Falafel box was only half full. The falafel was inedible, very poor quality. The yogurt sauce is watery and the few fries were floating in it. It's incomprehensible how you can serve something like that with your conscience.

I had half a kebab with extra feta & had to pay 13 Chf (3 Chf extra for a bit of feta cheese where I don't pay anything extra in other places). The waitress at the checkout probably had personal problems with my appearance (heavily tattooed) and she made that clear to me. Communication and responding to the customer's wishes is a foreign word here. The kebab was ok, but completely overpriced. The snack bar itself was chaotic and untidy. I am a customer like everyone else and would like to be treated like one. No more!

Got off the train walked here at 3pm for late lunch and not disappointed. Ordered the Erdem kebab. Enjoyed it very much. Huge portion enough for 2 persons. Hot and fresh. Forgot to take pics cos hungry

If you don't know what else to do to save some money during your stay in Luzern, that's the right place. A kebab combo, sandwich + coke, costs €11. A schinitzel with fries costs €15. Everything ir big and delicious!

The food is very bad especially the Flafel the worst I ever had in my entire life, and the Staff was un professional and not Friendly at all. Not recommended at all.

A customer since day one over 20 years ago... lived above Erdem back then and every visitor came up to me with kebabs :-) Now all these years later, I go back to Erdem every now and then with my now grown-up son because of: the ERDEM kebab! World class!! Roasted onions etc. Unique!

A bad kebab can occur for various reasons, some examples are: Use of inferior meat or inadequate preparation of the meat Using inferior ingredients such as cheap oil or poor quality sauces Unhygienic working conditions Lack of experience or skills of the kebab maker. My experience was: The meat was a very cheap mixture of all kinds of stuff (possibly dog ​​meat). The meat, it looks like plastic, it tastes like plastic and it feels like plastic. I had to wait 10 minutes at the checkout so I could say my "extra request", which was simply a sauce and "no red cabbage". The woman didn't want to write it down. After I told her 3 times, she still forgot and made me a bag with the red cabbage!

Pizza wasn't good because I was disgusted by the Hawaiian kebab and cheese kebab. I would still rather eat shoots with pineapple. I'm sure I have a Turkish tapeworm now (I think it's really cool). An Erdem kebab with fried onions is 12 CHF. A pocket bread kebab without fried onions is 9.90 CHF. When I asked what the difference was between the two other than the onions, they said “the onions”. So asking 2.10 CHF more for a few fried onions is pretty bold. Then I decided on a pocket bread kebab. I have never seen such a small pocket bread kebab! It was tiny - a joke. I ate kebabs at Erdem 15 years ago. They were not only cheaper but also a lot bigger. When you got your hands on the bag with the kebab packed in aluminum, you always thought “that feels really heavy”… It’s a real shame! Was still hungry afterwards. Taste was ok. The saleswoman wasn't friendly either.
