Top address for wood-fired bread. You have to try it! Only the service sometimes leaves something to be desired, it could be friendlier - it doesn't take much ;-)

Müller Beck can now Twint!! Now I can buy my beloved apricot bags at any time without having to get extra cash first. And the Meitschibei, and Huufiise, and cream slices, and of course the fine wood-fired bread. The service is even friendlier, as now whining customers who are unwilling to pay cash (like me) no longer have any reason to complain 😉. Again Beck number one for me far and wide!

My mother bought some bread while passing through and said it was the best bread she had ever eaten! It's a shame about the cash, but twint works too.

Crusty bread from the wood-fired oven, lots of delicious little treats, sandwiches and tarts. The queue is worth it.

Burnt, lazy and cheeky The very unfriendly saleswoman tries to get rid of the customers before they buy, even with reference to some strange rules that nobody knows anyway. The breads all look burnt, if that's not a health hazard. We ended up buying much better from our nearby competitors.

The best bread I've ever eaten. In places there is only baked bread or salt-reduced bread that you can eat, but the taste is okay. There is still real bread here and it tastes great. The bread is simply great and I have never eaten anything so delicious. You have to try this. The normal white bread is simply great

I love this bakery and the saleswomen. Authentic and simply lovely! Be sure to try the fine Linzer tarts - they are amazing. Of course, Meitschibei and co shouldn't be underestimated either and the Berliners..... MMMMMMMMHM! Anyone who leaves this bakery without bread should be punished. Thank you for doing such a great job every day!!!

While looking for pasties for a fine meal at home, we stumbled across the Müller wood-fired bakery in Solothurn. As we entered, we were greeted by the pleasant smell of freshly baked bread and the warm welcome from the ladies behind the counter. When we looked at the display we knew: “We’ve come to the right place.” All products seemed wonderfully homemade and far removed from industrial mass-produced goods. The breads were nice and dark – colored by the wood oven. With the competent and friendly advice of one of the employees, we finally decided on the delicious pasties, a fantastic wood-fired bread (which we snacked on shortly after leaving the bakery) and a bear's paw. Now that everything has been tasted and cleaned up, our conclusion remains: A fantastic bakery with wonderful products. If you're in Solothurn, you shouldn't miss this little gem.
